Devarim (Deuteronomy) 33:1-34:12

The following are topics of discussion in the video.

Welcome. Parashat Vezot Haberakhah 5785 (2025): Proof Yeshua Is Mashiach” shows prophetic proofs that Yeshua is Mashiach. It covers the prophesied destruction of the second temple post Mashiach (Daniel 9:25-26), the prophecy of the portion of the lawgiver hidden in Gad (Genesis 49:10, Deuteronomy 33:20-21), how Yeshua came specifically for the lost tribes of Israel, and end-time events concerning both houses of Judah and Joseph.

We also see further examples of how the Talmud contradicts the written Torah of Moshe, and prophecies about Judah’s purification back to the written Torah.

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 33:1-2
1 Now this is the blessing with which Moshe the man of Elohim blessed the children of Israel before his death.
2 And he said: “Yahweh came from Sinai, And dawned on them from Seir; He shone forth from Mount Paran, And He came with ten thousands of saints; From His right hand Came a fiery Torah for them.

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 33:3-4
3 “Yes, He loves the people; All His saints are in Your hand; They sit down at Your feet; Everyone receives Your words.
4 “Moshe commanded a Torah for us, A heritage of the congregation of Jacob.

Sefaria: Talmud Tractate Sanhedrin 59a
And Rabbi Yoḥanan says: A gentile who engages in Torah study is liable to receive the death penalty; as it is stated: “Moses commanded us a law, an inheritance of the congregation of Jacob” (Deuteronomy 33:4), indicating that it is an inheritance for us, and not for them.

Sefaria: Talmud Tractate Sanhedrin 59a
The Gemara answers: There, in the baraita, the reference is to a gentile who engages in the study of their seven mitzvot. It is a mitzva for a gentile to study the halakhot that pertain to the seven Noahide mitzvot, and when he does so he is highly regarded.

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 33:4
4  “Moshe commanded a Torah for us, A heritage of the congregation of Jacob

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 33:7
7 And this he said of Judah: “Hear, Yahweh, the voice of Judah, And bring him to his people; Let his hands be sufficient for him, And may You be a help against his enemies.”

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 33:8
8 And of Levi he said: “Let Your Thummim and Your Urim be with Your set-apart one, Whom You tested at Massah, And with whom You contended at the waters of Meribah…

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 33:9
9 “Who says of his father and mother, ‘I have not seen them’; Nor did he acknowledge his brothers, Or know his own children; For they have observed Your word And kept Your covenant.

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 33:10
10 “They shall teach Yaakov Your judgments, And Israel Your Torah. They shall put incense before You, And a whole burnt sacrifice on Your altar.

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 33:11
11 “Bless his substance, Yahweh, And accept the work of his hands; Strike the loins of those who rise against him, And of those who hate him, that they rise not again.”

Malachi 3:2-3
2 “But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire And like launderers’ soap.
3 “He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to Yahweh An offering in righteousness.

Malachi 3:4
4 “Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem Will be pleasant to Yahweh, As in the days of old, As in former years.”

21 “He provided the first part for himself, Because there the portion of the lawgiver was hidden. He came with the heads of the people; the right-rulings of Yahweh he did, And His judgments with Israel.”

B’reisheet (Genesis) 49:10

Bemidbar (Numbers) 32:1-2
1 Now the children of Reuven and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of livestock; and when they saw the land of Jazer and the land of Gilead, that indeed the region was a place for livestock,
2 the children of Gad and the children of Reuven came and spoke to Moshe, to Eleazar the priest, and to the leaders of the congregation, saying,

Bemidbar (Numbers) 32:4-5
4 “the country which Yahweh defeated before the congregation of Israel, is a land for livestock, and your servants have livestock.”
5 Therefore they said, “If we have found favor in your sight, let this land be given to your servants as a possession. Do not take us over the Jordan.”

Sefaria: Rashi on Deuteronomy 34:6
מול בית פעור OPPOSITE BETH PEOR — His grave was prepared there ever since the six days of Creation, to atone for the incident regarding Peor (see Numbers 25) (Sotah 14a). This (Moses’ grave) was one of the things that were created “between the twilights” on the eve of the Sabbath [in the week of the Creation] (Pirkei Avot 5:6; Pesachim 54a).

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 33:20-21
20  And of Gad he said: “Blessed is he who enlarges Gad; He dwells as a lion, And shall tear off the arm and the crown.
21  “He provided the first part for himself, Because there the portion of the lawgiver was hidden. He came with the heads of the people; the right-rulings of Yahweh he did, And His judgments with Israel.”

B’reisheet (Genesis) 49:10
10 The scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor a lawgiver from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes; And to Him shall be the obedience of the people.

Strong’s Concordance H7886
שִׁילֹה shı̂ylôh shee-lo’
From H7951; tranquil; Shiloh, an epithet of the Messiah: – Shiloh.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 49:10
10  The scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor a lawgiver from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes; And to Him shall be the obedience of the people.

[…when Shiloh came… the portion of the lawgiver departed from Judah and was hidden in Gad…]

Daniel 9:25
25  “Know therefore and understand, That from the going forth of the command To restore and build Jerusalem Until Mashiach Nagid, There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; The street shall be built again, and the wall, Even in troublesome times.”

Daniel 9:25
7 weeks = 7 x 7 years = 49 years.
+62 weeks = 62 x 7 years = 434 years.
= 49 years + 434 years = 483 years.

[Mashiach Nagid would come 483 years after the command to restore and rebuild Jerusalem was given.]

Daniel 9:25: Three different commands:
A. Edict of Cyrus given @ 3221 (@ 539 BCE). Adding +483 years brings us to about 3704 (56 BCE).
B. King Darius’ decree was about @3240-3245 (520-515 BCE). +483 years comes to about 3723-3728 (37-32 BCE)
C. King Artashasta’s decree was about 3303 (457 BCE). +483 years later corresponds to an arrival date of 3786 (26 CE).

Daniel 9:26
26 “And after the sixty-two weeks Mashiach shall be cut off, but not for Himself; And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the end of the war desolations are determined.”

[Sanctuary destroyed 3830 (70 CE).]

Micah 5:2
2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting.”

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 33:28-29
28 “Then Israel shall dwell in safety, The fountain of Jacob alone, In a land of grain and new wine; His heavens shall also drop dew.
29 “Happy are you, O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by Yahweh, The shield of your help And the sword of your majesty! Your enemies shall submit to you, And you shall tread down their high places.”

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 34:4
4 Then Yahweh said to him, “This is the land of which I swore to give Avraham, Yitzhak, and Yaakov, saying, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you shall not cross over there.”

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 34:5-6
5 So Moshe the servant of Yahweh died there in the land of Moav, according to the word of Yahweh.
6 And He buried him in a valley in the land of Moav, opposite Beth Peor; but no one knows his grave to this day.

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 34:7-8
7 Moshe was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor diminished.
8 And the children of Israel wept for Moshe in the plains of Moav thirty days. So the days of weeping and mourning for Moshe ended.

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 34:9-10
9 Now Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moshe had laid his hands on him; so the children of Israel heeded him, and did as Yahweh had commanded Moshe.
10 But since then there has not arisen in Israel a prophet like Moshe, whom Yahweh knew face to face…

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 34:11-12
11 “…in all the signs and wonders which Yahweh sent him to do in the land of Egypt, before Pharaoh, before all his servants, and in all his land,
12 “and by all that mighty power and all the great terror which Moshe performed in the sight of all Israel.”

Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 37:16-17
16 “As for you, son of man, take a stick for yourself and write on it: ‘For Judah and for the children of Israel, his companions.’ Then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel, his companions.’
17 Then join them one to another for yourself into one stick, and they will become one in your hand.”

Mattityahu (Matthew) 6:33
33 “But seek first the kingdom of Elohim and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

Yehudah (Jude) 1:3
3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.

Shalom
