The new moon was reported as seen from Israel at evening 18 April 2026/5786. For Nazarene Israel, this moon marks the start of the 3rd Hebrew month. (Rosh Chodesh samech!) Witnesses of the moon sighting are as follow:

The new moon of the fourth Hebrew month is expected to be visible from Israel on 17 May. Confirmation will be made upon the sighting of the new moon (or the 30-day default count).

1c. Feasts 5785-6 / 2026

19 February 5786/2026 was Rosh HaShanah. Nazarene Israel is keeping the Second Pesach this year due to receiving late reports from Israel. Dates for the 7th month feasts are could change by a day or two, and will be confirmed upon the start of the 7th month.

• Rosh HaShanah was 19 February (starting the evening prior). 
• Shavuot is 26 April.
• ‘Expected dates’ for the feast of the seventh Hebrew months are below. (Please remember 7th month feast dates are not finalized until the start of the seventh Hebrew month is officially confirmed.)
