This is the 18th chapter of Revelation Simplified video series. This video explains that, at the end of our time on earth, we go to the Judgment, and then the new earth. While we don’t know exactly how the new earth is, Scripture gives us clues that it will be very different than our existing earth, following different physical principles.
In this video, we come to the end of the Revelation Timeline. In earlier chapters, we discussed the 7 seals, the 7 trumpets, the 7 cup judgments, Armageddon (the wedding/Gog1), the Ingathering (or the 2nd Exodus), the Millenium, and the battle of the second Gog war. Then we saw how that, after the second Gog war, the earth continues for a little while longer.
How long to the new earth?
In “The New Earth”, we explain that we do not know how long that exact time period will be before the earth is burned up, but that the earth willl continue until the Mashiach Yeshua returns in His fourth and final return. We will show that Scripture tells us that no man knows of that day or hour, and that the end will come suddenly.
Mattityahu Matthew) 24:35-36
35 “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the messengers of heaven, but My Father only”
Kepha Bet (2 Peter) 3:10
10 “But the day of Yahweh [Yeshua] will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
What happens at the time of the new earth?
We will also talk about what happens to those who are asleep in Yeshua and to those who are still alive on earth at the time of the end.
Qorintim Aleph (1 Corinthians) 15:51-51
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed –
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Great White Thrown Judgment
We will show that, at this the time the earth is burned up, before the new earth comes to pass, there is no more earth to dwell on. And at this time, we all go to the Great White Thrown judgment, which is where the dead will be judged according to their works. (For more on why it is not enough to just ‘believe’, please read The Torah Government study.)
Hitgalut (Revelation) 20:11-12
11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before Elohim, and the books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.
The Lake of Fire vs the new earth
We will talk about the two possibilities after our physical death on earth, and how our existence after the old earth passes away is entirely based upon whether or not Elohim chooses us. We will talk about all this and more in this video.
Hitgalut (Revelation) 20:15
15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
