The Second War of Gog and Magog

This video is the 17th chapter of our Revelation Simplified video series. We will talk about how Gog and Magog relate to Ishmael (the green horse of Islam). We will also talk about how Ezekiel 38 describes the second war of Gog and Magog, (whereas Ezekiel 39 describes the first war of Gog and Magog), how Satan’s Seat relates to Gog, the destruction of the earth, and the white throne judgment. Revelation Simplified is a ‘crash course’ study on the book of Hitgalut (Revelation). For a more in-depth study, please read Revelation and the End Times.

Gog and Magog, war 1 and 2

We will review the Revelation simplified timeline. We will see that the first war of Gog and Magog occurs after the 7th cup judment is poured out, during the time of Armageddon (or the Wedding feast). We also saw that the 2nd harpazo happens during that time. And then, after Armageddon, the ingathering (2nd Exodos), and the Millenium rule come the second war of Gog and Magog and the 3rd harpazo. We will explain how the first war of Gog and Magog is described in Ezekiel chapter 39 and how the second war of Gog and Magog is described in Ezekiel chapter 38, and why these passages show us the timing for the Revelation timeline.

Shemini Atzeret and End-time prophecy

As we have seen in many studies, Yahweh’s feasts are a foreshadow of things to come, and all Scripture speaks of Yeshua HaMashiach. In this video, we will explain how the timing second war of Gog and Magog is shown to us through Yahweh’s 7th month feast day of Shemini Atzeret. As we know from our study on Shemini Atzeret the 8th Day, Chag HaSukkot (or the feast of Tabernacles) lasts for 7 days, and is symbolic of the time we tabernacle with our Husband, Yeshua, before going home.

We will see how Shemini Atzeret is an brief extention of the week-long feast, similar to how a husband and wife would want to extend their honeymoon celebration together before returning home. We will explain how this extention applies to end-time prophecy, based upon Yahweh’s feast foreshadowing and 2 Peter 3:8, before earth’s destruction.

Qolossim (Colossians) 2:16-17
16  So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a feast or a new moon or sabbaths,
17  which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Mashiach.

Kepha Bet (2 Peter) 3:8
8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with Yahweh one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

We will see from Ezekiel 38:23 that the earth must continue for a while longer, so that the nations come to know Yahweh. (And that cannot happen if the earth is immediately destroyed.)

Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 38:23
23 “Thus I will magnify Myself and set Myself apart, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am Yahweh.”

Who is Gog and Magog?

We will talk about the identity and location of Gog and Magog from both an ancient time perspective, and from a current/future day perspective. We will see why ‘the four corners of the earth’ is a reference to the four corners of Israel, which is the location of focus, and why this is important for understanding who surrounds the 4 corners of the land of Israel.

Hitgalut (Revelation) 20:7-8
7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison
8  and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea.

We will talk about all this and more, in this segment on the Second War of Gog and Magog.
