The Time of Jacob’s Trouble

This video is part 6 of the Revelation Simplified video series. In this segment, we explain why the Time of Jacob’s Trouble is the second half of a 7 year tribulation, and why it takes place just prior to Trumpet 7. We will also touch briefly upon the topic of the 7 thunders.

7 Trumpets, 7-year tribulation period

We will talk about how the 7 trumpets represent a 7-year tribulation period, the last 3.5 years corresponding to the time of Jacob’s trouble. We will see that Trumpet 7 (or the ‘third woe’) is when the Babylon harlot is judged and the opening to the 7 bowls (or cups) of wrath being poured out.

Revelation 10, 11 inset chapters

We will help viewers understand that certain chapters of Hitgalut (Revelation), such as chapter 10 and 11, can be referred to as an inset chapters. These chapters have the purpose of further describing events taking place on the timeline. We will explain how chapter 10 is describing events which take place between Trumpet 6 and Trumpet 7.

When the 7th Trumpet sounds

In seal 5 we saw that the dead cried out for justice, and they were given a white robe and told to wait a little while longer. Now we see that a messenger declare that there would be a delay no longer. We will see that the 7th messenger is about to sound and the mystery would be finished. We will see how this relates to Babylon’s judgment and fall.

Hitgalut (Revelation) 10:5-6
5 The messenger whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised up his hand to heaven,
6 and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be delay no longer,
7 but in the days of the sounding of the seventh messenger, when he is about to sound, the mystery of Elohim would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.

The falling away, man of sin

We will explain how it is known that Thessaloniquim Bet (2 Thessalonians) applies to the Papacy and the Roman Catholic church, and what that means for end-time events. (For more details on why the Papacy fulfills this prophecy, you can also read Nazarene Israel the Original Faith.)

Thessaloniquim Bet (2 Thessalonians)
3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin [man of Torahlessness] is revealed, the son of perdition,
4  who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called Elohim or that is worshiped, so that he sits as Elohim in the temple of Elohim, showing himself that he is Elohim.

3.5 year time of Jacob’s trouble

We will show how Daniel chapter 9 and Daniel chapter 12 describe the time of the anti-Messiah temple, the time of Jacob’s trouble, why the time of Jacob’s trouble is in the last 3.5 years of the tribulation, and the lead-in to the time of the cup judgments and Armageddon. We will see what this means for the land of Israel and for those dwelling there at this period of end-time prophecy.

We will talk about all this and more in this segment on the time of Jacob’s trouble.
