The Cup Judgments

This video on the cup judgments is the 11th chapter of the Revelation Simplified video series. In this section, we will be discussing the cup judgments of Revelation chapters 15-16. We will explain about how the great harlot Babylon is judged in the heavenly court at Trumpet 7, and then punished during the pouring out of the cup judgments.

Parable of the pregnant bride

Throughout the Revelation Simplified series, we have been explaining how the revelation timeline can be defined with the parable of the pregnant bride. If you have not watched the previous chapters of Revelation Simplified, we encourage you to start at the beginning so that you can have a full understanding of the revelation timeline. We will also cover a brief review in this section on the cup judgments. The cup judgments can be described as the stage of the pregnat bride, when her water breaks and she reaches the climax stage just before delivery.

1. The Seals- A growing burden
2. Trumpets- Labor pain
3. Thunders- Cries of pain
4. Cups- Water breaks
5. A man-child- Armageddon

Revelation chapter 12, 13, and 14 inset chapters

We will explain how the 7th trumpet immediately leads into the 7 cup judgments, and how Revelation chapters 12, 13, and 14 are inset chapters which help explain what happens during the cup judgments.

Victory over the beast

We will explain how, according the Revelation chapter 15 verse 2, there will be some people upon earth who have victory over the beast, his image, his mark, and the number of his name.

Hitgalut (Revelation) 15:2
2 And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of Elohim.

Cup judgments prophecy

We will talk about specific prophecies pertaining to the cup judgments and how that is expected to manifest upon earth, including the reduction of animal life, plant life, and human life. We will talk about the symbolism used in certain verses and what it means. And how, even during this time of Yahweh’s cup judgments, He is still attempting to turn mankind to repentance.

Hitgalut (Revelation) 15:1
1 Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of Elohim is complete.

Hitgalut (Revelation) 15:8
8 The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of Elohim and from His power, and no one was able to enter the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.

bitter-sweet

We will also show how, while the events of the cup judgments will seem very traumatic from earth, from a physcial perspective, the end result is actually a good thing from a spiritual perspective. In the physical realm, the time of the cup judgments will be a very difficult, painful time upon earth. But in the spiritual realm, the cup judgments must be poured out upon the seat of the beast in order for Yahweh’s standards are established on earth for the millennial reign of His Son, Yeshua Hamashiach.

Hitgalut (Revelation) 15:3-4
3 They sing the song of Moshe, the servant of Elohim, and the song of the Lamb, saying: “Great and marvelous are Your works, Yahweh Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!
4  Who shall not fear You, O Yahweh, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, For Your judgments have been manifested.”
