The Bride and the Feasts shows us how the Biblical feasts all give us hidden prophetic shadow pictures of how we are to refine ourselves as the Mashiach Yeshua’s Proverbs 31 bride. Every year we keep Yahweh’s feasts. And for a lot of people, keeping Shabbat and keeping Yahweh’s feasts becomes a ‘checklist’ task. “Check, I have my matzah.” “Check, I got rid of leaven.” “Check, we had a Passover meal.”
But, what are we really doing in the feasts? Are we understanding the significance of Yahweh’s feasts and what they symbolize for us, as Yeshua’s Proverbs 31 bride? Do we know what Yahweh really wants from us? In this video, we will see the true purpose in keeping Yahweh’s feasts, what Yahweh really wants, and how we can be Yeshua’s Proverbs 31 bride.
What Yahweh wants
Yahweh created mankind in His likeness (we were meant to have the same desires and to walk in His Spirit). Yahweh wanted to have a family, and He wanted mankind to listen to and obey His voice. But as we know, mankind rebelled against Elohim. And effectively, he is looking for rebels to return back to Him. And the way He does that is by reaching out to us through the great sacrifice of His Son through His mercy and through His forgiveness for sins. These are the reasons why we want to come back. That marks the point where we are born as spiritual children.
Yeshua’s Proverbs 31 bride.
Yeshua is not coming for a child bride. He is coming for a mature bride. A spotless, blemishless bride. What He wants effectively are willing, eager war-brides. Yahweh sprung us from slavery in Egypt and He made a covenant with Israel. And what Yahweh wants is for us to dedicate ourselves to the cause of establishing His Son as the King over all the earth. We can see this in the parable of the minas. The parable calls for a role of a very active bride. And if we are not an active bride then it is not pleasing to Him.
Luqa (Luke) 19:15
15 “And so it was that when he returned, having received the kingdom, he then commanded these servants, to whom he had given the money, to be called to him, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.
The bride and the feasts
How does all of this pertain to the feasts? In this video, we will talk about Yahweh’s feasts, the Ancient Hebrew Wedding, and what these things mean for us as Yeshua’s bride.
We will talk about why it is necessary to ‘content’ for the original faith, as described in Jude 3.
Jude 3
3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.
We will explain what ‘the’ original faith is and the “Case of the Missing “The”” and what that means for the faith that Yeshua’s bride needs to be keeping today.
Luqa (Luke) 18:8
8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find the faith on the earth?”
[The Case of the Missing “The”]
We will also explain that, as Yeshua’s Proverbs 31 bride, our job is effectively to learn to become like our Husband Yeshua in every way that we can, to walk as ‘one flesh’ and ‘one Spirit’. And to learn to manifest His personality in all situations. Because it is not enough just to adore Yeshua. We have to learn to imitate Yeshua. We have to apply ourselves as dedicated disciples, which is the Great Commission. We have to become like Him in every way that we can.
And once we have the understanding that we are supposed to walk as Yeshua walked, and that we are supposed to imitate our One and only Rabbi’s halachah (way/doctrine), we will then talk about what Yeshua’s personality is? If we are supposed to imitate Him, and if we are going to be married to Him, then we need to know who He is!
Mattityahu (Matthew) 7:21-23
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Master, Master,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Master, Master,’ have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
