This is video 16 in the Revelation Simplified video series. Revelation Chapter 19 covers several things. If you have not already watched Armageddon and the Wedding Feast and The Rapture, you can do so by clicking the corresponding link. In this video, we will examine how Revelation chapter 19 and 20 describe the time we will rule and reign with Messiah during the millennium.
One prophetic day
In order to fully understand the Millennium rule, we should first understand the scriptural principle that a day to Yahweh is as 1,000 years to mankind. We will give examples of when this biblical principle applies and when different biblical principles apply in other prophetic passages. And how the biblical principle of 1,000 years being as one day to Yahweh relates to end-time events and the millennial rule of Mashiach.
Kepha Bet (2 Peter) 3:8
8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with Yahweh one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
7th day Shabbat: A plan for mankind
We will explain the concept of what is often referred to as ‘a 6,000 year plan for mankind’ and then the 1,000 years (Millennia) for Yahweh.
B’reisheet (Genesis) 2:3
3 Then Elohim blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which Elohim had created and made.
We will talk about why Yahweh’s final feast celebration of Shemini Atzeret is a foreshadow picture of an extended period of time beyond the Millennia and the 7,000 year total, (or the 7-day prophetic week).
Qolossim (Colossians) 2:16-17
16 So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a feast day or a new moon or sabbaths,
17 which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Mashiach.
We will see how there are still other things that must occur after the Millennial rule of Mashiach comes to a close before the earth is destroyed, such as the second war of Gog and Magog, (Gog 2 in image below).
The beast, false prophet, and Satan
We will discuss what happens to the Beast and the false prophet after Armageddon (Gog 1), as well as what happens to Satan prior to the Millennium. We will see that, after Armageddon, the Beast and the false prophet are destroyed, never to reappear. And that Satan is bound for 1,000 years, until the time of the second Gog war at the end of the Millennium rule.
Hitgalut (Revelation) 19:20
20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Hitgalut (Revelation) 20:2-3
2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;
3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.
The Millennium rule
We will also explain why we believe the vision of the 144,000 throwns takes place in heaven, during the Millennial rule of Yeshua Mashiach. We will explain who is reigning from heaven and who is reigning on earth in Yeshua’s stead during the Millennium. We will explain what the ingathering looks like in comparision to the common idea of the ‘rapture’.
We hope that this presentation helps you and your loved ones understand about the ingathering and the Millennium. And we hope to see you for the next video in this series, “The Second War of Gog and Magog“.
