The following are topics of discussion in the video.

Welcome. Parashat “Nitzavim 5785 (2025): Torah Requires an Organized Nation” explains how Yahweh called all twelve tribes into covenant with Him as an ordered nation, and how Yeshua’s body (aka the Tabernacle of David, the Stick of Joseph, and the sect of the Nazarenes) has the role of building Him a literal kingdom in His absence upon the written Torah.

It also explains how Ephraim (and those of Judah dwelling with him) were taken into the diaspora due to our disobedience to Elohim and His Covenant, how end time prophecies say that Edom (Esav) will perish, and how we must dedicate ourselves to hearing and obeying Yahweh’s voice and His written Torah if we want to survive the end times and return home.

In this week’s parashiot video, Norman begins by responding to some viewer questions and comments and by explaining the big-picture focus we should have for building Yahweh’s kingdom.

Viewer question #1: Sadducees and Karaites

“Thank you, brother Norman and team for another great video and for all the hard work you put! I found this one to be especially rich from end to end. I’ve heard you state that the scribes/Sadducees were Karaites. Though I’ve never considered this before hearing your statements that would make plenty of sense to me… I’ve been trying to verify that, but so far I’ve been unsuccessful. Do you have a source for that info or a study I can look up on your website perhaps?

Norman’s question #1:
How does your question help Yeshua to get the kingdom His Father sent Him to get us to build for Him in His absence?

Norman’s question #2:
How would this knowledge help build the Stick of Ephraim, so we can all survive, and go home? (What are your priorities?)

Qorintim Aleph (1 Corinthians) 8:1
1 Now concerning things offered to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies.

Viewer question #2: Unification of Nazarene sects

“Shabbat shalom
Where do you all have Nazarenes meet on shabbats? There are many Nazarenes mixed communities around the globe when Nazarenes were persecuted in Jerusalem during the early church period. I met several such communities around some countries I travelledThey all have to be connected together. They are awaiting to worship in Spirit (love) & in truth (Torah & laws of Elohim).

NI response:

(Norman discusses)

Norman’s questions:

“Why does it sound like you are trying to put the burden of responsibility on me/NI?”

“If people are truly awaiting to worship in Spirit (love) & in truth (Torah & laws of Elohim), then why not just tithe and enter the kingdom?”

“Are we supposed to make up some new framework, instead of the framework that Elohim gives us in Scripture?”

Mattityahu (Matthew) 7:24-25
24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
25 “and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.”

Mattityahu (Matthew) 7:26-27
26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:
27 “and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

Galatim (Galatians) 4:16
16 Have I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth?

Nazarene-Israel-versus-Christianity-Judaism

Norman’s assistant’s comments:

“Well, we do want unity and the stick to come together. So, it seems like a good question. Except we have had people [including from Nazarene sects] … who outright say they do not believe in the doctrine we teach, but that they are willing to take a paid job from us, or that they are willing to unite without agreement on the doctrine

“…and when asked what it is that they find Scripturally wrong with our (existing) doctrine they answer nothing. So, there is no real [desire] to change, and to [unify] on the true doctrine [that Scripture teaches]. And that isn’t real unity

“…So this is what we are facing, is a bunch of rebellious sects who don’t want to submit to Yahweh’s way, and who want to do things all their own way, the red-horse way, and they just don’t want to unite on the true doctrine

“They come to us asking to unite without uniting on doctrine… I am not sure if anything here is helpful…”

Viewer question #3: Talmudic law

Do you believe the golden age government is going to hand over all non-orthodox to Talmudic law via the Noahide law? Please don’t block me. I legitimately want to know where your mindset is on this. What I hear you say this is a distinct possibility.

Norman’s response:
“My mindset is that the only way to survive what is coming is to enter into right relationship with Yeshua, and help Him to establish His kingdom by doing everything Scripture says (i.e., tithing, organizing, and building the Stick of Joseph), because Yahweh promises to select AGAINST everyone else (especially Esav).”

Viewer comment #4: The cheerful giver

[Anonymous] Sister Donor Comments:
I love this verse to remind myself as I give my tithe in gratitude and [awe]:
Deuteronomy 8:18 “You shall remember Yahweh your Elohim, for it is He who give you power to get wealth, that He may confirm his covenant that He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”

I’m focused on calculating as accurately as I can my proper tithe and last month I was able to do more than the previous month, praise Yah! SSDI: $XXX Wag: $XX Freelance dogs: $XX Total: $XXX Thank you Brother Norman, Rivkah, Oscar, and family for the work you’re doing for Yah and Yeshua (Jesus’) Kingdom~

“~ Very grounding Parasha yesterday. I get so grateful in how Elohim blesses me I “think” I’m following instructions properly yet sometimes I’m not, repetition and reminders within the framework of ‘the big picture’ are very helpful for me (and sobering)~ thank you 🙂

Qorintim Bet (2 Corinthians) 9:6-7
6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for Elohim loves a cheerful giver.

Qorintim Bet (2 Corinthians) 9:8-9
8 And Elohim is able to make all favor abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
9 As it is written: “He has dispersed abroad, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.”

Qorintim Bet (2 Corinthians) 9:10-11
10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness,
11 while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to Elohim.

Qorintim Bet (2 Corinthians) 9:12-13
12 For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to Elohim,
13 while, through the proof of this ministry, they glorify Elohim for the obedience
of your confession to the good news of Messiah, and for your liberal sharing with them and all men,

Qorintim Bet (2 Corinthians) 9:14-15
14 and by their prayer for you, who long for you because of the exceeding favor of Elohim in you.
15 Thanks be to Elohim for His indescribable gift!

Nitzavim: midrash themes:

1. Yahweh called all twelve tribes into covenant with him as an ordered nation.

2. We receive the Spirit as individuals, but Yeshua tells us to build Him a literal kingdom in His absence. This kingdom is His body (aka the Tabernacle of David, aka the Stick of Joseph, aka the sect of the Nazarenes).

3. Yahweh says He will take us from the farthest parts of the earth, away from Israel—but He will only take us if we are obeying the full instructions of Mashiach Nagid, who came to show us how to live the Torah of Moshe as a nation.

4. Those who do not obey the full instructions of Mashiach Nagid will perish.

5. Edom (Esav) will perish.

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 29:16-17

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 29:21-22
21 “And Yahweh would separate him from all the tribes of Israel for adversity, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this Book of the Torah,
22 “so that the coming generation of your children who rise up after you, and the foreigner who comes from a far land, would say, when they see the plagues of that land and the sicknesses which Yahweh has laid on it:

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 29:23
23 “‘The whole land is brimstone, salt, and burning; it is not sown, nor does it bear, nor does any grass grow there, like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, which Yahweh overthrew in His anger and His wrath.’”

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 29:24-25
24 “All nations would say, ‘Why has Yahweh done so to this land? What does the heat of this great anger mean?’
25 “Then people would say: ‘Because they have forsaken the covenant of Yahweh Elohim of their fathers, which He made with them when He brought them out of the land of Egypt;

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 29:28-29
28 “And Yahweh uprooted them from their land in anger, in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day.’
29 “The secret things belong to Yahweh our Elohim, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this Torah.

10 “…if you obey the voice of Yahweh your Elohim, to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this Book of the Torah, and if you turn to Yahweh your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul.

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 30:11-12
11 “For this commandment which I command you today is not too mysterious for you, nor is it far off.

4 “but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”

First-century-Notzrim-sub-sects

Ephesim (Ephesians) 2:19-20
19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of Elohim,
20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Yeshua Messiah Himself being the chief cornerstone,

Ephesim (Ephesians) 2:21-22
21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a set-apart temple in Yahweh,
22 in whom you all also are being built together for a dwelling place of Elohim in the Spirit.

Ma’asei (Acts) 6:2-3
2 Then the twelve summoned the multitude of the disciples and said, “It is not desirable that we should leave the word of Elohim and serve tables.
3 “Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Set-apart Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business…”

Ma’asei (Acts) 4:11-12
11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
12 for the equipping of the set-apart ones for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Mashiach…

Ma’asei (Acts) 4:13-14
13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of Elohim, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Mashiach;
14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting

Ma’asei (Acts) 4:15-16
15 …but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Mashiach—
16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

TimaTheus Aleph (1 Timothy) 3:1-3
1 This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of an elder, he desires a good work.
2 An elder then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach;
3 not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous…

TimaTheus Aleph (1 Timothy) 3:4-5
4 one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence
5 (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the assembly of Elohim?)…

TimaTheus Aleph (1 Timothy) 3:6-7
6 not a novice, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same condemnation as the devil.
7 Moreover he must have a good testimony among those who are outside, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

TimaTheus Aleph (1 Timothy) 3:8-10
8 Likewise deacons must be reverent, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy for money,
9 holding the mystery of the faith with a pure conscience.
10 But let these also first be tested; then let them serve as deacons, being found blameless.

TimaTheus Aleph (1 Timothy) 3:11-13
11 Likewise, their wives must be reverent, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things.
12 Let deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
13 For those who have served well as deacons obtain for themselves a good standing and great boldness in the faith which is in Mashiach Yeshua.

Titus 1:5-6
5 For this reason I left you in Crete, that you should set in order the things that are lacking, and appoint eldersin every city as I commanded you—
6 if a man is blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of dissipation or insubordination.

Titus 1:7-8
7 For an elder must be blameless, as a steward of Elohim, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money,
8 but hospitable, a lover of what is good, sober-minded, just, set-apart, self-controlled…

Titus 1:9
9 holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict.

Titus 1:10-11
10 For there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision,
11 whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole households, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain.

Yehudah (Jude) 1:3
3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.

Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 37:16-17
16 “As for you, son of man, take a stick for yourself and write on it: ‘For Judah and for the children of Israel, his companions.’ Then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stickof Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel, his companions.’
17 Then join them one to another for yourself into one stick, and they will become one in your hand.”

Yeshua-tree-branches

Mattityahu (Matthew) 3:33-34
33 “But seek first the kingdom of Elohim and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
34 “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

Prayer Request:
Please pray that Joseph will realize that when we take a stick and organize as the restored nation of Ephraim (because of Yeshua), that means Yeshua is Mashiach—and that is the strongest witness we can make to Judah —and it builds Yeshua’s kingdom at the same time (and sets Israel up for strategic advantage during the millennium).

Shabbat shalom.
