Welcome to NI’s midrash on Parasha Chukat. “Parasha Chukat 5785 (2024): Yeshua: Our Red Heifer and Bronze Serpent” explains: the significance of the parah adumah (red heifer) for ritual purification and the corresponding messianic prophecies. It also covers the Talmudic teaching of the ‘merit of Miriam’ (or Miriam’s well); the events of the water of Meribah and the bronze serpent. And how these events foreshadow Yeshua HaMashiach as the One who provides remission of sin and the spiritual living waters.

Chukat: main topics

1. Red Heifer (פרה אדומה “parah adumah”, red cow)
2. Death of Miriam and Moshe striking the rock|
3. The elevation of the Bronze Serpent on a pole.
4. Israel’s war against three enemies: Arad, the Amorites, and Bashan
5. Question of the week

Torah & Brit Chadasha parallels

There is a lot of material in Parasha Chukat, so  for this week’s portions we will focus mostly on the Torah portion, and incorporate the Brit Chadash portion at the same time so that our viewers can see the correspondence and the parallels, and the prophetic fulfillments. And we will also coment on the question of the week at the end of this presentation for those who are serious about committing to the mission.

Parah Adumah: specifics

What makes the Parah Adumah unique?

1. The sacrifice of the Parah Adumah required a completely red cow (red heifer). This is the only sacrifice in the Torah that requires a certain color of animal.
(Bad: Devil, sin, Esav, red horse.)
(Good: priestly family.)

2. The parah adumah was to be sacrificed outside the camp, meaning it was to be sacrificed far away from the Tabernacle or Temple altar!

3. The parah adumah is the ONLY sacrifice in which blood is NOT drained out first! Rather, the blood is offered as part of the sacrifice.

4. The parah adumah is the only sacrifice ritual in which the clean man offering the sacrifice becomes ritually unclean, and the unclean one who receives the treatment (i.e., is sprinkled with the waters) becomes clean.

5. In Vayiqra (Leviticus) 14:4 we saw that the ritual for leprosy requires two living and clean birds, cedar wood, scarlet, and hyssop. The ritual of the parah adumah also requires cedar wood, the scarlet, and the hyssop.

6. The ashes of all other sacrifices are disposed of outside the camp. In contrast, the sacrifice of the parah adumah requires the ashes to be mixed with living water, to create “mei niddah”, or “waters of separation”, which are for purifying from sin and death.

7. The parah adumah is the only sacrifice in the Torah that is for cleansing from sin and death. (Any time you were in contact with a corpse [war, family death, plague, etc.] you needed to be cleansed.) And this is what Yeshua claimed to come to do, is to cleanse us from sin and from death.

The red heifer must be without blemish and one in which a yoke has never come. It is to be taken outside the camp and slaughtered. Its hide flesh, blood, and offal shall be burned with cedar wood, hyssop, and scarlet.

Bemidbar (Numbers) 19:1-2
1  Now Yahweh spoke to Moshe and Aharon, saying,
2  “This is the ordinance of the Torah which Yahweh has commanded, saying: ‘Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring you a red heifer without blemish, in which there is no defect and on which a yoke has never come.”

Bemidbar (Numbers) 19:3-4
3  “You shall give it to Eleazar the priest, that he may take it outside the camp, and it shall be slaughtered before him;
4  “and Eleazar the priest shall take some of its blood with his finger, and sprinkle some of its blood seven times directly in front of the tabernacle of meeting.”

Bemidbar (Numbers) 19:5-6
5  “Then the heifer shall be burned in his sight: its hide, its flesh, its blood, and its offal shall be burned.
6  “And the priest shall take cedar wood and hyssop and scarlet, and cast them into the midst of the fire burning the heifer.”

We see a similarity with the sacrifice of the two living birds which are also given with cedarwood, scarlet and hyssop.

Vayiqra (Leviticus) 14:4 (Tazria/Metzorah)|
4  “…then the priest shall command to take for him who is to be cleansed two living and clean birds, cedarwood, scarlet, and hyssop.”

Ritual purification

The priest was clean when he went out, and then he is unclean after the sacrifice. Same thing with the one who gathers the ashes.

Bemidbar (Numbers) 19:7-8
7  “Then the priest shall wash his clothes, he shall bathe in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp; the priest shall be unclean until evening.
8  “And the one who burns it shall wash his clothes in water, bathe in water, and shall be unclean until evening.”

Bemidbar (Numbers) 19:9|
9  “Then a man who is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and store them outside the camp in a clean place; and they shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for the water of purification; it is for purifying from sin.”

Notice, again, the Beni Noach program is not scriptural. When Ephraim comes home we take the status of ‘strangers who dwell’ among the natives.

Bemidbar (Numbers) 19:10
10  “And the one who gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until evening. It shall be a statute forever to the children of Israel and to the stranger who dwells among them.”

Bemidbar (Numbers) 19:11-12
11  “‘He who touches the dead body of anyone shall be unclean seven days.
12  “He shall purify himself with the water on the third day and on the seventh day; then he will be clean. But if he does not purify himself on the third day and on the seventh day, he will not be clean.”

Bemidbar (Numbers) 19:13
13  “Whoever touches the body of anyone who has died, and does not purify himself, defiles the tabernacle of Yahweh. That person shall be cut off from Israel. He shall be unclean, because the water of purification was not sprinkled on him; his uncleanness is still on him.”

Bemidbar (Numbers) 19:14-15
14  “This is the Torah when a man dies in a tent: All who come into the tent and all who are in the tent shall be unclean seven days;
15  “and every open vessel, which has no cover fastened on it, is unclean.”

Bemidbar (Numbers) 19:16-17
16  “Whoever in the open field touches one who is slain by a sword or who has died, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.
17  “And for an unclean person they shall take some of the ashes of the heifer burnt for purification from sin, and living water shall be put on them in a vessel.”

Bemidbar (Numbers) 19:18
18  “A clean person shall take hyssop and dip it in the water, sprinkle it on the tent, on all the vessels, on the persons who were there, or on the one who touched a bone, the slain, the dead, or a grave.”

The water is sprinkled on the unclean person on the third day and on the seventh day, and the unclean person is remains unclean until evening on the seventh day after bathing in water. Whoever is unclean and is not sprinkled with the water of purification remains unclean and is cut off from the assembly.

Bemidbar (Numbers) 19:19
19  “The clean person shall sprinkle the unclean on the third day and on the seventh day; and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, wash his clothes, and bathe in water; and at evening he shall be clean.”

Bemidbar (Numbers) 19:20
20  “But the man who is unclean and does not purify himself, that person shall be cut off from among the assembly, because he has defiled the sanctuary of Yahweh. The water of purification has not been sprinkled on him; he is unclean.”

Bemidbar (Numbers) 19:21
21  “It shall be a perpetual statute for them. He who sprinkles the water of purification shall wash his clothes; and he who touches the water of purification shall be unclean until evening.”

Bemidbar (Numbers) 19:22
22  “Whatever the unclean person touches shall be unclean; and the person who touches it shall be unclean until evening.’”

Prophetic fulfillment in Yeshua HaMashiach

May He be speedily revealed

The Mishneh states that nine red heifers were offered from the time commanded until the destruction of the Second Temple, and that “the tenth will be brought by the king Mashiach; may he speedily be revealed…” (We say amein, may Yeshua HaMashiach be speedily revealed.)

Sefaria.com, Maimonides, Mishneh Torah, Red Heifer, Ch. 3
Nine red heifers were offered from the time that they were commanded to fulfill this mitzvah until the time when the Temple was destroyed a second time. The first was brought by Moses our teacher. The second was brought by Ezra…

Sefaria.com, Maimonides, Mishneh Torah, Red Heifer, Ch. 3
…Seven others were offered until the destruction of the Second Temple. And the tenth will be brought by the king Mashiach; may he speedily be revealed. Amen, so may it be G‑d’s will.

Remission of sins

The function of the waters of purifications is for the remission of sins, which is exactly what we read as Yeshua’s purpose. We see this language throughout the Brit Chadasha. And again, the parah aduma was the only sacrifice in which the blood was also offered.

Mattityahu (Matthew) 26:27-28
27  Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.
28  “For this is My blood of the Renewed Covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Ephesim (Ephesians) 1:7
7  In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His favor.

Ephesim (Ephesians) 1:13-14
13  He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
14  in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins

Yochanan Aleph (1 John) 1:6-7
6  If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
7  But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Yeshua Messiah His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 53:4-5
4  Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by Elohim, and afflicted.
5  But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Blood atonement for the lost tribes

Again, the parah aduma is the only sacrifice offered outside the camp. And in Mattityahu (Matthew) 27:24-25, this is how those making the offering became unclean, and those who were already unclean out in the Dispersion would essentially receive the sprinkling of His blood and become clean over the course of thousands of years.

Ivrim (Hebrews) 13:12-13
12  Therefore Yeshua also, that He might set the people apart with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.
13  Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach.

Mattityahu (Matthew) 27:24-25
24  When Pilate saw that he could not prevail at all, but rather that a tumult was rising, he took water and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, “I am innocent of the blood of this just Person. You see to it.”
25  And all the people answered and said, “His blood be on us and on our children.”

Can we see the parallel being drawn between the red heifer and the sacrifice of Yeshua HaMashiach?

Ivrim (Hebrews) 9:13-14
13  For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh,
14  how much more shall the blood of Messiah, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to Elohim, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living Elohim?

Hitgalut (Revelation) 1:5-6
5  and from Yeshua Messiah, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,
6  and has made us kings and priests to His Elohim and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amein.

Ivrim (Hebrews) 10:22
22  let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience [yetzer hara] and our bodies washed with pure water.

Notice that Kepha (Peter), an apostle of Yeshua HaMashiach, is writing to the pilgrims of the Dispersion, to all places where the Israelite tribes had gone. Remember, the northern house of Israel set up golden idols in the northern kingdom, we transgressed the first covenant, and we got dispersed.

The Kabblists want to throw themselves at the base of the ladder to go find the lost Abrahamic Sparks. What did Yeshua do? Yeshua is the fulfillment of the waters of the red heifer. Those who ‘burn’ the red heifer become unclean, those who are sprinkled by the waters become clean.

Kepha Aleph (1 Peter) 1:1-2|
1  Kepha, an apostle of Yeshua Messiah, To the pilgrims of the Dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
2  elect according to the foreknowledge of Elohim the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Yeshua Messiah: Favor to you and peace be multiplied.

Ivrim (Hebrews) 12:24
24  …to Yeshua the Mediator of the Renewed Covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.

Ivrim (Hebrews) 9:15
15  And for this reason He is the Mediator of the Renewed Covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

Cleansing the temple

The red heifer is burned in preparation of a cleansed temple.

Qorintim Aleph (1 Corinthians) 3:16-17
16  Do you not know that you are the temple of Elohim and that the Spirit of Elohim dwells in you?
17  If anyone defiles the temple of Elohim, Elohim will destroy him. For the temple of Elohim is set-apart, which temple you are.

Kepha Aleph (1 Peter) 2:4-5
4  Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by Elohim and precious,
5  you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a set-apart priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to Elohim through Yeshua Messiah.

We will talk more in the question/answer session about the foundation of apostles and prophets. If you do not have a foundation, you do not have a building. If you are not building on a rock foundation, and you are building on sand, the building collapses.

Ephesim (Ephesians) 2:19-20
19  Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of Elohim,
20  having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Yeshua HaMashiach Himself being the chief cornerstone

Ephesim (Ephesians) 2:21-22
21  in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a set-apart temple in Yahweh,
22  in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of Elohim in the Spirit.

According to the Order of Melchi-Tzedek

In Ivrim (Hebrews) 5, Yeshua is called by Elohim as High Priest according to the Order of Melchi-Tzedek (kings and priests). Messicanics have a huge issue with this. To ignore this means tossing away the entire book of Hebrews. You do not throw away the book of Hebrews. This is what is called the transposition of the priesthood. We talked about this before and we have seen this the last several parashiot.

First there was the change from the Firstborn priesthood to the Levitical priesthood. Yahweh said He would do it and He did it. Later, the Levitical priesthood became corrupted and now you switch to the Order of Melchi-Tzedek. But in order to be the Order of Melchi-Tzedek, you have to obey HaMashiach. You cannot just say it, you have to do it.

Ivrim (Hebrews) 5:8-10
8  though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered.
9  And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him,
10  called by Elohim as High PriestACCORDING TO THE ORDER OF MELCHI-TZEDEK…”

Each time priesthoods change, the operation instructions change. You go into the Dispersion and again, the operation instructions must change because it is a different environment. There is a need to organize and operate differently.

Ivrim (Hebrews) 7:11-12
11  Therefore, if perfection were through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the Torah), what further need was there that another priest should rise according to the order of Melchizedek, and not be called according to the order of Aharon?
12  For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the Torah.

Zekaryah (Zechariah) 13:1
1  “In that day a fountain shall be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness.

Yochanan (John) 19:26-27
26  When Yeshua therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold your son!”
27  Then He said to the disciple, “Behold your mother!” And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home.

Talmud, Miriam’s well

Merit of Miriam, Moshe, Aharon

A lot of times in Scripture you will have periods of silence and then a lot recorded about a specific period of time. Israel came out of Egypt, was there at the foot of Mount Sinai, was there in Midian, they built the Tabernacle and everything came together. Our ancestors went through a series of trials in which they failed, and they were consigned to die wandering in the wilderness. Now we pick up 38 years later, in Bemidbar 20, getting ready to enter into the Land of Israel. Immediately, we say “oh, no, here we go again…”. This is the next generation, but we see rebellion again against Moshe and Aharon.

The rabbis do not understand the reasons for not adding or taking away, and they go a whole other direction with this. We are coming up on a time when the house of Ephraim will reunite as the stick of Ephraim, and then reunite with Judah. And we see there are a lot of manmade traditions inside both houses that are simply not Scriptural. And that is the point between this parashiot series, to ignite genuine dialogue between both houses. Because when the reunification of both houses becomes a reality, there is going to have to be a common ground. And that common ground is the written Torah and Tanakh.

Bemidbar (Numbers) 20:1-2
1  Then the children of Israel, the whole congregation, came into the Wilderness of Zin in the first month, and the people stayed in Kadesh; and Miriam died there and was buried there.
Now there was no water for the congregation; so they gathered together against Moshe and Aharon.

Sefaria: Talmud Tractate Taanit 9a9
9a:9 The Gemara raises an objection from a baraita: Rabbi Yosei, son of Rabbi Yehuda, says: Three good sustainers rose up for the Jewish people during the exodus from Egypt, and they are: Moses, Aaron and Miriam. And three good gifts were given from Heaven through their agency, and these are they: The well of water, the pillar of cloud, and the manna

Sefaria: Talmud Tractate Taanit 9a9
…He elaborates: The well was given to the Jewish people in the merit of Miriam; the pillar of cloud was in the merit of Aaron; and the manna in the merit of Moses…

In summation, the Talmud is saying that the well was given to Israel ‘in Miriam’s merit’, Miriam died (and some versions say Israel did not mourn Miriam enough at her death…), and then the well returned again through the merit of Moshe and Aharon, and that is was a type of portable well that moved aroudn with Isarel through the dessert.

On the Ephraim side of the house, we do not understand this at all… it seems like magical thinking to us. And people will argue that there were other miraculous events like the manna from heaven, etc, and so, it must also be true with the well of water. If you go on your search engine, you will find all sorts of results that lead to conclusions. The problem is that these conclusions are added theories that the Tanakh states. And that is the danger of this whole thing.

Sefaria: Talmud Tractate Taanit 9a9
When Miriam died the well disappeared, as it is stated: “And Miriam died there” (Numbers 20:1), and it says thereafter in the next verse: “And there was no water for the congregation” (Numbers 20:2). But the well returned in the merit of both Moses and Aaron.

Sefaria: Talmud Tractate Shabbat 35a:6
Rav said: A spring that is portable, i.e., that moves from place to place, is ritually pure and is regarded as an actual spring and not as drawn water. And what is a movable spring? It is Miriam’s well.

Sefaria: Siftei Chakhamim, Numbers 20:2:1
“The congregation had no water.” As soon as Miriam died, the well which had traveled with the Israelites all these years ceased providing water. The water which the people had enjoyed all these years was due to the merit of Miriam who had stood by watching what would happen to her infant brother when he was in a basket in the reeds at the edge of the river (Exodus 2,4).

Shemote (Exodus) 2:4-5
4  And his sister stood afar off, to know what would be done to him.
5  Then the daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe at the river. And her maidens walked along the riverside; and when she saw the ark among the reeds, she sent her maid to get it.

Shemote (Exodus) 2:6-8
6  And when she opened it, she saw the child, and behold, the baby wept. So she had compassion on him, and said, “This is one of the Hebrews’ children.”
7  Then his sister said to Pharaoh’s daughter, “Shall I go and call a nurse for you from the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for you?”
8  And Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Go.” So the maiden went and called the child’s mother.

The Arutz Sheva news claims archaelolgist Yossi Stepansky found the lost site of Miriam’s well.

Miriam's Well, transplated to Kinneret

Miriam's Well in Tiberias

Bring forth a clean offering

We get concerned because, from the first two verses of Bemidbar 20, Judah gives the credit to Miriam as the ‘provider’ of the water, and that the well was with Israel througout their 40 years of wandering. And there are some very interesting parallels between the Miriam of the Tanakh and the Miriam of the Brit Chadasha. But what Esav does with Miriam worship and what Judah seems to be doing with Miriam worship is very concerning. Our hope in Joseph is to rejoin with Judah and to return home as an offering in ‘a clean vessel’, and we cannot do that when people are adding and subtracting from the Tanakh.

Sefaria: Siftei Chakhamim, Numbers 20:2:1
…G’d had rewarded her for that act of kindness by making her the provider of water for Moses’ people. The people had not appreciated this until the well ceased with Miriam’s death.

Sefaria: Rabbeinu Bahya, Bamidbar 20:2:1(1)
… And because it disappeared now, with her death, [Israel] realized that it was with them through her merit, and from here [we can infer] that the well was with them for the whole 40 years [of their wandering].

Sefaria: Bartenura on Pirkei Avot 5:6:3(3)
Bartenura on Pirkei Avot 5:6:3(3) and the mouth of the well: The well of Miriam that went with Israel in the wilderness on all of the journeys. And some say, that it opened its mouth and uttered song, as it stated (Numbers 21:17), “rise up, O well; answer it.”

Bemidbar (Numbers) 21:16-17
16  From there they went to Beer, which is the well where Yahweh said to Moshe, “Gather the people together, and I will give them water.”
17  Then Israel sang this song: “Spring up, O well! All of you sing to it—

Bemidbar (Numbers) 21:18-20
18  The well the leaders sank, Dug by the nation’s nobles, By the lawgiver, with their staves.” And from the wilderness they went to Mattanah,
19  from Mattanah to Nahaliel, from Nahaliel to Bamoth,
20  and from Bamoth, in the valley that is in the country of Moab, to the top of Pisgah which looks down on the wasteland.

Yeshua HaMashiach: our living water

Now, we do not know how long this myth of Miriam’s portable well has existed, but it seems that maybe Shaliach Shaul may have heard of it (he was a pharisee of the pharisees). We spoke before about how Yahweh sent His Messenger before the children of Israel, and how that Messenger was Yeshua. We see that Yeshua is the One fufilling the living, portable water.

Qorintim Aleph (1 Corinthians) 10:4
4  and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Messiah.

Yochanan (John) 4:10
10  Yeshua answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of Elohim, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”

Yochanan (John) 4:11-12
11  The woman said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water?
12  “Are You greater than our father Yaakov, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?”

Yochanan (John) 4:13-14
13  Yeshua answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again,
14  “but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

Yochanan (John) 7:37-38
37  On the last day, that great day of the feast, Yeshua stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.
38  He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”

Yochanan (John) 7:39
39  But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Set-apart Spirit was not yet given, because Yeshua was not yet glorified.

In the day that Yeshua HaMashiach is revealed to Judah, they too will receive His waters of purification for sin and for uncleaness.

Zekaryah (Zechariah) 13:1
1  “In that day a fountain shall be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness.

Bemidbar (Numbers) 20:1-2
1  Then the children of Israel, the whole congregation, came into the Wilderness of Zin in the first month, and the people stayed in Kadesh; and Miriam died there and was buried there.
2  Now there was no water for the congregation; so they gathered together against Moshe and Aharon.

Water crisis: Marah

Okay, let us talk about the water crisis that is happening. Back in Shemote 15, we saw the children of Israel crying out against Moshe for water, for the waters of Marah were bitter and could not be drank. So, Moshe cried out to Yahweh, and Yahweh provided a tree to make the waters sweet. And Yahweh made a statute and ordinance then, testing whether the people would be obedient, and He provided 12 wells of water in Elim.

Shemote (Exodus) 15:22-23
22  So Moshe brought Israel from the Reed Sea; then they went out into the Wilderness of Shur. And they went three days in the wilderness and found no water.
23  Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah.

Shemote (Exodus) 15:24-25
24  And the people complained against Moshe, saying, “What shall we drink?”
25  So he cried out to Yahweh, and Yahweh showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet. There He made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there He tested them…

Shemote (Exodus) 15:26-27
26  and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of Yahweh your Elohim and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am Yahweh who heals you.”
27  Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve wells of water and seventy palm trees; so they camped there by the waters.

Water crisis: rock in Hereb

Then we see the next water crisis in Rephidim. And Yahweh commands Moshe to strike the rock in Hereb, that water would come forth for the people to drink. (This time, Moshe was commanded to strike the rock.)

Shemote (Exodus) 17:1
1  Then all the congregation of the children of Israel set out on their journey from the Wilderness of Sin, according to the commandment of Yahweh, and camped in Rephidim; but there was no water for the people to drink…

Shemote (Exodus) 17:5
5  And Yahweh said to Moshe, “Go on before the people, and take with you some of the elders of Israel. Also take in your hand your rod with which you struck the river, and go.”

Shemote (Exodus) 17:6
6  “Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink.” And Moshe did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

Water crisis: Kadesh

Now we come to the Wilderness of Zin, to Kadesh, and again, there is no water to drink. And again, the people cry out against Moshe. And Moshe and Aharon both fell on their faces crying out to Yahweh. But this time, we see that Yahweh did not instruck Moshe to strike the rock, but only to speak to the rock.

Bemidbar (Numbers) 20:3-4
3  And the people contended with Moshe and spoke, saying: “If only we had died when our brethren died before Yahweh!
4  “Why have you brought up the assembly of Yahweh into this wilderness, that we and our animals should die here?”

Bemidbar (Numbers) 20:5-6
5  And why have you made us come up out of Egypt, to bring us to this evil place? It is not a place of grain or figs or vines or pomegranates; nor is there any water to drink.”
6  So Moshe and Aharon went from the presence of the assembly to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and they fell on their faces. And the glory of Yahweh appeared to them.

Bemidbar (Numbers) 20:7-9
7  Then Yahweh spoke to Moshe, saying,
8  “Take the rod; you and your brother Aharon gather the congregation together. Speak to the rock before their eyes, and it will yield its water; thus you shall bring water for them out of the rock, and give drink to the congregation and their animals.”
So Moshe took the rod from before Yahweh as He commanded him.

Moshe credits himself and Aharon

Then, in verse 10, Moshe speaks to the people saying, “Hear now, you rebels! Must we bring water for you out of this rock?” Who is Moshe giving the credit to? He is not giving the credit to Yahweh, he is applying credit of the water to himself and to Aharon. Moshe and Aharon are credited as the ‘providers’ of the water. Very similar to giving Miriam the merit of the well. Same thing. As great as Moshe was, he made a huge, self-exalting mistake here, and he made it publically, before the whole congregation of Israel, which meant a need for public correction so that Yahweh’s name would continue to be glorified.

Bemidbar (Numbers) 20:10-11
10  And Moshe and Aharon gathered the assembly together before the rock; and he said to them, “Hear now, you rebels! Must we bring water for you out of this rock?”
11  Then Moshe lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank.

Bemidbar (Numbers) 20:12-13
12  Then Yahweh spoke to Moshe and Aharon, “Because you did not believe Me, to set Me apart in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”
13  This was the water of Meribah, because the children of Israel contended with Yahweh, and He was set-apart among them.

Prophetic striking of the Rock

If we think about this in a prophetic sense, we know that Yahweh’s Shepherd (Yeshua HaMashiach) would be ‘struck’, and the sheep would be scattered. And we know that Yeshua was definitely struck.

Zekaryah (Zechariah) 13:7
7 “Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd, Against the Man who is My Companion, “Says Yahweh of hosts. “Strike the Shepherd, And the sheep will be scattered; Then I will turn My hand against the little ones…

Marqaus (mark) 14:27
27 Then Yeshua said to them, “All of you will be made to stumble because of Me this night, for it is written: ‘I WILL STRIKE THE SHEPHERD, AND THE SHEEP WILL BE SCATTERED.’

Maasei (Acts) 8:1
1 Now Shaul was consenting to his death. At that time a great persecution arose against the assembly which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered througout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.

The fiery serpents

Returning to Bemidbar, remember that this is the next generation and they are still crying out against Moshe, and in reality, against Yahweh. Yahweh broke us free from Egypt so that we could be His Proverbs 31 war-bride, and His war-bride is self-focused, complaining, and uncommitted to Him. (Do we see any parallels in our generation today?) Well, of course, Yahweh does not like it! And He sends fiery serpents among the people.

Bemidbar (Numbers) 21:5
5  And the people spoke against Elohim and against Moshe: “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and our soul loathes this worthless bread.”

Bemidbar (Numbers) 21:6-7
6  So Yahweh sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and many of the people of Israel died.
7  Therefore the people came to Moshe, and said, “We have sinned, for we have spoken against Yahweh and against you; pray to Yahweh that He take away the serpents from us.” So Moshe prayed for the people.

Bemidbar (Numbers) 21:8-9|
8  Then Yahweh said to Moshe, “Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.”
9  So Moshe made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.

The bronze serpent

People always question about the caduceus and also the Rod of Asclepius. These give the credit to Greek-Roman deities, rather than giving credit to Yahweh Elohim. We see in the Brit Chadasha that the bronze serpent Moshe made parallels the sacrifice of Yeshua HaMashiach.

Belief requires obedience

Now, here is what the majority of people do not understand about Yochanan 3:14-16 (or the famously quoted John 3:16 passage). This is crucial to know, understand, and to apply. And that is the Hebraic definition of ‘believe’ and ‘does not believe’. Most of us in Ephraim are still caught up in the Babylonian system, and are still inside the red horse, and still think with Greek mindsets rather than Hebraic mindsets. Why? Because we still do not understand what it means to ‘serve’ our Elohim. And English translations really gloss over this.

Yochanan (John) 3:14-16|
14  “And as Moshe lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
15  “that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
16  “For Elohim so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

Whoever ‘believes’ in Yeshua HaMashiach ‘should not’ perish, but [should] have everlasting life. The definition of G4102 pisteuō means to have faith, believe, commit, and to place one’s trust in something.

Strong’s Greek Concordance G4100
πιστεύω pisteuō pist-yoo’-o
From G4102; to have faith (in, upon, or with respect to, a person or thing), that is, credit; by implication to entrust (especially one’s spiritual well being to Christ): – believe (-r), commit (to trust), put in trust with.

Okay, now this is a warning to both houses, and especially to the house of Ephraim. Remembering that the Mashiach will be a rock of offense and a stumbling block to both houses. Most people who read Yochanan 3 think, “Oh, all good! I beleive that Yeshua is the Messiah, so I’m good!” That is not that simple, and this is where people stumble all of the time. And it is crucial for us to understand what is being said here, if we do not want the wrath of Elohim to abide on us.

Yochanan (John) 3:36 NKJV
36  “He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of Elohim abides on him.”

Let us look at the Strong’s definition of ‘does not believe’. Strong’s Greek G545 says that to disbelieve means to be disobedient, unbelieving, and to ‘not obey’. Apply equal weights and measures, that means to believe means to obey.

Strong’s Greek Concordance G544
ἀπειθέω apeitheō ap-i-theh’-o
From G545; to disbelieve (wilfully and perversely): – not believe, disobedient, obey not, unbelieving.
Total KJV occurrences: 16

Strong’s Greek Concordance G545
ἀπειθής apeithēs ap-i-thace’
From G1 (as a negative particle) and G3982; unpersuadable, that is, contumacious:disobedient.

Now we see the corrected version of verse 3:36, and we see a different meaning from what is commonly applied in English translations (and possibly other languages). And we see that the wrath of Elohim abides on the disobedient, and that he who disobeys Elohim shall not see life. Are we professing so-called faith in Yeshua but continuing to do things our own way and only giving Him lipservice?

Yochanan (John) 3:36 Corrected
36  “He who believes [pisteuo] in the Son has everlasting life; and he who disobeys [apeithēs] the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of Elohim abides on him.”

Prophetic zugot pairs: opposing serpents

For those who interested in zugot pairs, and who bind matters on two extremes, if Yeshua is telling us that he is like the serpent, what we effectively have, if you will, are two opposing serpents battling it out, but one (Yeshua) for Yahweh’s glory. And that is effectively, the two extremes of the battle between good and evil.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 3:14-15
14  So Yahweh Elohim said to the serpent: “Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, And you shall eat dust All the days of your life.
15  “And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.”

Now, there is a right way and a wrong way to do everything, and there was a wrong usage the bronze serpent. As we see in Melachim Bet (2 Kings), where the children of Israel had been burning incense to the bronze serpent, and had named it Nehushtan.

Melachim Bet (2 Kings) 18:1
1  Now it came to pass in the third year of Hoshea the son of Elah, king of Israel, that Hezekiah the son of Ahaz, king of Judah, began to reign.

Melachim Bet (2 Kings) 18:3-4
3  And he did what was right in the sight of Yahweh, according to all that his father David had done.
4  He removed the high places and broke the sacred pillars, cut down the wooden image and broke in pieces the bronze serpent that Moshe had made; for until those days the children of Israel burned incense to it, and called it Nehushtan.

NOT advocating graven images

And just to clarify, we do not do graven images in NI. And if you would like to know more about NI’s doctrine on forbidden images, please click on the study “Forbidden Images”, below. There is also an excellent resource by the late Dr. CJ Coster called Come Out of Her My People. He talks about the changes brought into the assembly in the Great Falling Away, into the house of Esav, and into Mystery Babylon. But just to point out NI’s position again, NI is not advocating graven images in any way.

The cross, stake, pole and Tammuz

If we take a look at Yehezqel 8, we see that women (referring to a spiritual body) are weeping for Tammuz. And thisis what Babylon does, is cause confusion by mixing messages. The message of Yeshua is a true message, whereas the Tammuz cross is a symbol of pagan worship. This is why it is so important to do things exactly as Yahweh says.

Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 8:14
14  So He brought me to the door of the north gate of Yahweh’s house; and to my dismay, women were sitting there weeping for Tammuz.

Yehezqel 8.14, Ezekiel, weeping for Tammuz

Question of the Week:

Now, we want to address a letter that we received from a young man. It seems like a very nice letter, and there is a lot of positive things to address in it, so we hope to answer in the best way possible. And if you are someone interested in knowing where we are in reestablishing the Tabernacle of David and the stick of Ephraim, and are committed to the efforts, we hope you will stick around for this part. There are a lot of people with good giftings out there, and we want to go through this letter and see where we are aligned, and where we are not yet aligned, so we can help guide this brother and others in similar situations.

“Greetings Norman,
I am a 19-year-old American national and I stumbled across your channel a few years back. I first wanted to thank you for your service as a prophet and for teaching the truth of Yahweh. I am sorry people ask you such childish questions sometimes. In my five years of studying the Torah, I have not seen any ministry so in line with the Word.

(Praise Yah, we work hard to remain in line with Yahweh’s word.)

One of the things I am so tired of is people within the Messianic movement claiming that Yeshua is not the Manifestation of Elohim (John 6:45).

Yochanan (John) 6:45
45  “It is written in the prophets, ‘AND THEY SHALL ALL BE TAUGHT BY ELOHIM.’ Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.”

Yeshua Manifestation of Yahweh vs Trinity

It sounds like this brother’s congregation has some people who are into deity denying. We have heard this before, we are sorry to hear it is happening with this brother. There are people who believe on Yeshua as the Messiach, but they do not yet understand the deity aspect.

“He is certainly a “messenger,” but I refrain from using that term because it signifies relegation to many people reading the renewed covenant at a lower level. I also do not accept the Trinity, but that has never given me a reason to throw out the baby with the bathwater.

Clearly, there is a Father, there is a Son, and there is the Spirit, but the Trinity aspect is not correct. So, again, if anyone has questions on that, we would refer you to the study “Yeshua: Manifestation of Yahweh”.

Yeshua HaMashiach, manifiestation of Yahweh

“Also, if I may add, we are very in sync doctrinally. I am highly opposed to the ineffable name doctrine (Num. 6:27), Zionism (Isa. 11:12), Hanukkah, Purim, and Jewish New Year (Deut. 12:31-32), the Talmud and rabbinic system (Deut. 4:2; Matt. 23:8), and the Star of David (Amos 5:26-27; Acts 7:43; 15:29), just to name some examples.

Bemidbar (Numbers) 6:27
27  “So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”

The brother continues that he is against the ineffable name doctrine, (meaning that we are to use Yahweh’s name, and not a substitution in place of His name). And he is against Zionism. (To clarify, NI is against political Zionism, but for our brother Judah, and we understand that Yahweh is doing things through brother Judah.) He is opposed to the added traditions and to the Talmud/rabbinical order.

Star of David, Star of Saturn

He continues that he is against the Star of David. And we take a look at some Scriptural examples, and we look up the references, and we see that the star worshipped by Judah is Saturn.

Amos 5:26-27
26 “You also carried Sikkuth your king And Chiun, your idols, The star of your [false] gods, Which you made for yourselves.
27 “Therefore I will send you into captivity beyond Damascus,” Says Yahweh, whose name is the Elohim of hosts.

Abstaining from idolatry

Again, for more information, please refer to our study on “Forbidden Images”. As our young writer also points out, Ma’asei (Acts) 15:28-29 lists idol worship as one of the necessary things we must abstain from in order to reenter the synagogue. This includes the cross which is Tammuz, and the Star of David which is Saturn.

The Great Commission

Next, the brother writes that he is all about extending the olive branch, and he references the Great Commission of Matthew 28:19-20. And extending the olive branch is part of the Great Commission. To clarify, there is much more to the Great Commission than this alone, (but we think we may understand what the brother is referring to).

“Additionally, I have tried to engage devout Orthodox Jews and Christians in discussions because I am all about extending the olive branch, as Yeshua commanded (Matt. 28:19-20).,

So, just to respond on the topic of the Great Commission, there is a lot more to the Great Commission than only witnessing.

Mattityahu (Matthew) 28:19-20
19  “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, immersing them in My name*,
20  “teaching them to shomer all things that I have commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amein.

Kindling a fire on Shabbat

Next, the brother writes about kindling a fire on Shabbat. There are both physical and spiritual aspects to this commandment. The physcial is that we do not light work fires/cooking fires on Shabbat. Often, people apply the spiritual aspect that we should not kindle debates or arguements, or any heated interactions on Shabbat, because Shabbat is a day for harmony and rest.

“Speaking of which, my congregation recently did a discussion on the biblical calendar during a July sabbath and there was lots of strife. You might even say a “fire was kindled,” so to speak (Exo. 35:3).

Shemote (Exodus) 35:3
3  “You shall kindle no fire throughout your dwellings on the Sabbath day.”

Division over calendar

Next, the brother comments on the breaking up of the congregation due to calendar doctrine, and how people he had developed great relationships with now refuse to talk to him due to doctrinal differences. To respond, it does not seem that the relationships were as good as what the brother thought, otherwise these people would not have departed and ended communication.

“As an avid defender of the Aviv Barley calendar, it saddened me to see my congregation split up over this. Many people left and just cut the rest of us who stayed off. They are people I developed great relationships with, but refuse to talk to me at all because I did not leave with them.

The Zadok/Enochian calendar is a mess, it is just a bad calendar. When we are choosing what calendar to follow, we must make a decision about what books we are going to follow. To be clear, the book of First Enoch is not inspired text, but it is a re-write of the original book of Enoch. Also, there is more than one book of Enoch. We explain in our statement of faith that we follow the 66 books of the Cannon, and we will listen to the other books, but when it comes to doctrine, we need to compare everything first to Scripture.

“My congregation uses a Zadok/Enochian-type calendar, which I almost hate, but my conviction has been that I want to keep the body together, even if we are in disagreement over that.

Priorities

Okay, and it is important to listen to our own words. And whenever we are in a serving capacity, we need to be careful about whether we are serving the way we want, or serving how Yahweh wants. And if we are speaking about what we “want” whether our “number one priority” is the same as what Yahweh wants. In the serving capacity, it is all about decreasing ourselves and increasing Yeshua.

Loving the misled people is my number one priority. It’s why I think it’s so petty that there are now two opposing Messianic congregations in my area that practically hate each other.

We agree, division is tragic, but it is also a very necessary part of the process. And we will talk about that in a moment. But with respect, words are important. And so, are we focusing on our own priorities and our own picture of how things should work? Or are we focused on what Scripture says and what Yahweh wants? Words are important.

So, what should our number one priority always be? Let us look at what Yeshua said about first and greatest commandment. A lot of people say that they love Yahweh first and foremost, but do not do it. The first thing we must do is submit to Yahweh above all else, and to His Spirit. And then we submit to one another in Him. And that is the basic operating protocol here. Yahweh comes first, always.

Yahweh’s clean doctrine or fellowship?

A lot of people make this mistake in both houses, and place fellowship first, and it becomes a worship of fellowship, so-to-speak.

Mattityahu (Matthew) 22:37-39
37  Yeshua said to him, “‘You shall love Yahweh your Elohim with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
38  “This is the first and great commandment.
39  “And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”

The brother says that he knows the division is not Yeshua’s will. Okay, we are not sure the perspective here. Division may not be Yahweh’s perfect will, but it is His permissive will, otherwise it would not be happening. In love, the brother has a white verses red issue happening.

“I know none of this is Yeshua’s will, which is why I want the pastors of these two congregations to reconcile with each other, speak to one another, and hold events together.

We really appreciate this letter. We have expereienced much of this type of thing throughout the years. What Ephraim misses is how important unity on doctrine is, rather than just uniting and ‘agreeing to disagree’, so-to-speak. Because without unity in doctrine, there is no true unity.

We would like to ask this brother, how are you going to have united fellowship when there is a difference in calendar doctrine? How do you meet when you meet on different days? How does that work? And how does Yeshua speak about division? So many of us want peace on earth and good will toward men, but that is not what Yeshua says.

Mattityahu (Matthew) 10:34
34  “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.

“I think they won’t because times are too easy and people just want to stay in their lane. It indicates to me that the reason why Yahweh is going to bring about the tribulation is because He needs to see who truly believes His words and by that, I mean who is committed.

This is exactly right. Ephraim knows what to do, he just does not want to do it. And yes, Yahweh willl bring the tribulation due to Judah’s and Ephraim’s refusal to submit to Him.

“Ultimately, I think those of us learning the scriptures but not seeking unity are in far more trouble than fraternal orders who are trying to worship Yah and love their neighbor in their own perverted way but are still united.

We need some clarification on this point. We would agree that someone who simply has not had their eyes opened to the truth yet may be in better shape than someone who has had their eyes opened, knows what to do, and just does not do it. So, in that case, yes. But we want to caution in how the statement is written.

Called to come out of her

In the following charts, we show how Nazarene Israelites were organized in the first century, before the Great Falling Away, and how we fell away into Esav. The Catholic Church benefited Ephraim in that it caused us to get back into the Bible again.  And then a time, times and a half of time later, we have the Protestants breaking away.

And on the one hand, that is fragmentation and a loss of organization. But on the other hand, you have Ephraim on his way out of Esav and back to the original faith. And that is much better than remaining in the house of Esav, in corrupt doctrine.

Nazarene Israel the Orignal Faith, Notzrim, First Century, Great Falling Away, chart

And now, most of Ephraim is stuck in the House Church/Messianic stage. And this is why most of our people (90%) are going to end up dying, because people do not want to submit to the Spirit. But there is a need to leave the church system behind.

Nazarene Israel the Orignal Faith, Notzrim, First Century, Great Falling Away, chart

In the chart below, we see the process of Ephraim breaking away. We see the series of steps breaking away. And without the breaking away, the only other reality is to reamin in the house of Esav, which is not what Yahweh wants. Division is necessary in order to return to the pure doctrine that Yeshua taught and kept.

Return to Torah

We would also encourage people to look at Yaakov 3:16-18. Now is the question of coming out of Esav all of the way, and to forsake all leaven and all false doctrine. Then, once the house is purse, then we can be peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, and full of mercy and good fruits. Verse 18, righteousness is by doing everything Yahweh said to do. Yahweh will bring peace when we submit to doing as He says. But not by placing fellowship first.

Yaakov (James) 3:16-18
16  For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.
17  But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
18  Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

The correct foundation

Okay, this brother sent some video links. Those video links were very good, and it was encouraging to see someone of 19 years of age that was so articulate and handling material so well. Now, a word of caution. This is something we talk about every week. When we talk about doing things for the Kingdom, that means we need to be doing things according to how Yahweh instructs for building His kingdom. And so, that means building on the correct foundation.

“As a “Spirit-educated” scholar, I have my own YouTube channel and studies where I break down scripture (see examples below). I do it free of charge, as it is all for the Kingdom. If Yahweh wants to send patrons my way, that is awesome.

Yeshua Himself gave five different classes of ministrial gifts, and they are all supposed to work together on a common, single foundation, meaning a single doctrine. And the reason is fro the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, and for the edifying of the body of Mashiach. And that is supposed to last until we all come to the faith, as perfect men, to the full stature of the fullness of Mashiach. (Has not happened yet.) And the point is so that we are not spiritual children any longer, tossed about with every wind of doctrine. (This false calendar, that false calendar, etc.)

Ephesim (Ephesians) 4:11-12
11  And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
12  for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Messiah,

Ephesim (Ephesians) 4:13-14
13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of Elohim, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Messiah;
14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,

What is the solution? We have to speak the truth in love. That is what we are trying to do. We all need to receive our discipline and submit to Yeshua. So, this brother says that he is doing all that he is doing for the Kingdom. We need to ask this brother (and any other leaders watching), are we doing our versions of the kingdom, or are we doing what we are doing to help the body grow, according to everything Yeshua said to do?

Ephesim (Ephesians) 4:15-16
15  but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Messiah—
16  from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

What this is saying is that Yeshua’s program is one that requires participation as a body.

I do not bother putting up Theology credentials from an institution, as I do not hold them in high esteem and do not want to make arguments from authority.

That is good. We are not against education, but most promotes Babylonian idealogies.

“For example, I have a professor who teaches an “Acts of the Apostles” class and he claims that twenty-first-century assemblies do not need to be structured the same way they were in the first century. I think that is silly and know he is wrong as the text states somewhere that each assembly is supposed to have elders, deacons, and rulers.

Yeshua has a very specific doctrine that He gave, and if we are going to build a literal temple for Him, if we are going to fulfill what He said to do, we have to do things His way.

Titus 1:5-6
5  For this reason I left you in Crete, that you should set in order the things that are lacking, and appoint elders in every city as I commanded you—
6  if a man is blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of dissipation or insubordination…

The brother offered assistance and his phone number, and shared his video links. Again, they were good videos. We appreciate him and his letter.

“If I can be of assistance in any way, please feel free to contact me at [phone number].”

Conclusion

With all respect, we want to help you along, and anyone else listening. It sounds like there is still some Messianic doctrine in this letter. (Again, we want to be king, we really appreciated this brother’s letter.) So the first thing is Amos 3:3, which asks whether two can walk together unless they are agreed.

We have had so many people contact us and they want to work with us, but they do not really know the doctrine on the website. We have a specific discipleship program. And the thing is, if there is any difference in doctrine, then there is a difference in mission.

Amos 3:3
3  Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?

To mention quickly, the mission involves some large-scale things. On the political level, there is the Genesis 35 Alliance of a nation (Judah) and a company of nations (Protestant-Christian) surrounding it. Again, this will probaly be at level 3 or 4.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 35:11-12
11  Also Elohim said to him: “I am Elohim El Shaddai. Be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall proceed from you, and kings shall come from your body.
12  “The land which I gave Abraham and Isaac I give to you; and to your descendants after you I give this land.”

Then we have our marching order here, which is coming right up. Now, this could also be a political solution. But the thing is, what are we uniting on? A lot of people want to go back home to the land, and that is as far as their vision goes. But our mission is to become a solid stick of Ephraim, and then to reunite with Judah.

NI is going to do what Yeshua says to do. And the majority of the nation is not going to do what Yeshua said to do, and so the majority of the nation is going to follow that trend. But for NI, we are going to do what Yeshua said to do, and we believe that this will lead to a much better stick than even the one Judah has, which is Democratic. We ares supposed to form our stick on what Yeshua said to do.

Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 37:16-17
16  “As for you, son of man, take a stick for yourself and write on it: ‘For Judah and for the children of Israel, his companions.’ Then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel, his companions.’
17  “Then join them one to another for yourself into one stick, and they will become one in your hand.”

The Faith

We come to Jude, and this is our mission and our goal, to reestablish the first century faith, here and now. And there is a stone that is going to be cut out without hands, which will smash the image on its feet and will fill the whole earth. And we believe that is Nazarene Israel. So we would like to encourage you to check out our discipleship program if that is something you would like to be a part of.

Jude 1:3
3  Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the set-apart ones.

And we would be encouraged to speak to this brother or anyone who is reading the materials and who is interested in doing things the right way, according to how Yeshua says to do them. But there is a specific program and a specific protocol to follow, which we explain on our website and in our studies.

Shabbat shalom.
