The following are topics of discussion in the video.

Welcome. Parashat Vayetze 5785 (2025): “Jacob’s Ladder of Return” focuses on Jacob’s dream of the ladder reaching from earth to heaven, and the reason why Yahweh changed Jacob’s name (and identity) from that of a trickster to that of an overcomer (Israel). It shows the need for Judah and Joseph to forsake Talmudic and Church-based identities, for personal transformation from worldly identities to divine character (2 Peter 1:4), and the need to fully submit to Yahweh.

Comments on “(Death) Threats from a Sanhedrin Associate:

Mattityahu (Matthew) 24:5
5  For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Mashiach,’ and will deceive many.

“You come in the name of Yeshua (not his real name) and already deceived 17k subscribers with your pseudo Hebrew cult. As I am involved in the set-up of the Sanhedrin, I can promise you right now, that you will be one of the first cases dealt with, once the Sanhedrin is fully functional.” -Ulf Diebel

“This guy Ulf obviously has a mental disorder. I would stay far away from him, Don’t even address him at all anymore.” – YouTube viewer

(We tried. We got death threats.)

“Brother you got a real one on your hands there. The threat of the sandhedrin [sic] is real for all of us with what Trump is doing. Shabbat shalom !” – YouTube viewer

B’reisheet (Genesis) 35:10-11
10  And Elohim said to him, “Your name is Yaakov; your name shall not be called Yaakov anymore, but Israel shall be your name.” So He called his name Israel.
11  Also Elohim said to him: “I am Elohim El Shaddai. Be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall proceed from you, and kings shall come from your body.”

Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 37:16-17
16  “As for you, son of man, take a stick for yourself and write on it: ‘For Judah and for the children of Israel, his companions.’ Then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel, his companions.’
17  Then join them one to another for yourself into one stick, and they will become one in your hand.”

Strong’s Concordance H3290
יַעֲקֹב ya‛ăqôb yah-ak-obe’
From H6117; heel catcher (that is, supplanter); Jaakob, the Israelitish patriarch: – Jacob.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 27:9 (Toldot)
9 “Go now to the flock and bring me from there two choice kids of the goats, and I will make savory food from them for your father, such as he loves.

(Mama Rivkah uses Yaakov to deceive Yitzhak.)

B’reisheet (Genesis) 27:15-17 (Toldot)
15 Then Rivkah took the choice clothes of her elder son Esav, which were with her in the house, and put them on Yaakov her younger son. 16 And she put the skins of the kids of the goats on his hands and on the smooth part of his neck.
17 Then she gave the savory food and the bread, which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Yaakov.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 27:18-19 (Toldot)
18 So he went to his father and said, “My father.” And he said, “Here I am. Who are you, my son?
19 Yaakov said to his father, “I am Esav your firstborn; I have done just as you told me; please arise, sit and eat of my game, that your soul may bless me.”

B’reisheet (Genesis) 27:20-21 (Toldot)
20 But Isaac said to his son, “How is it that you have found it so quickly, my son?” And he said, “Because Yahweh your Elohim brought it to me.”
21 Yitzhak said to Yaakov, “Please come near, that I may feel you, my son, whether you are really my son Esav or not.”

Heel-Catcher (Trickster) Becomes Israel
Stop accomplishing things by trickery and treachery! Rather, your name shall be ISRAEL (the upright ones of Elohim, who overcome with Elohim [not trickery or treachery]).

Yaakov sets up a pillar unto Yahweh in Beit El

B’reisheet (Genesis) 28:10-11
10 Now Yaakov went out from Beersheva and went toward Haran.
11 So he came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 28:12
12 Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the messengers of Elohim were ascending and descending on it.

adam's ladder R. Family

B’reisheet (Genesis) 28:13
13 And behold, Yahweh stood above it and said: “I am Yahweh the Elohim of Avraham your father and the Elohim of Yitzhak; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 28:14
14 “Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 28:15
15 “Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.”

B’reisheet (Genesis) 28:16-17
16 Then Yaakov awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely Yahweh is in this place, and I did not know it.”
17 And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of Elohim, and this is the gate of heaven!

B’reisheet (Genesis) 28:18-19
18 Then Yaakov rose early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put at his head, set it up as a pillar, and poured oil on top of it.
19 And he called the name of that place Beit El; but the name of that city had been Luz previously.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 28:20-21
20 Then Yaakov made a vow, saying, “If Elohim will be with me, and keep me in this way that I am going, and give me bread to eat and clothing to put on,
21 so that I come back to my father’s house in peace, then Yahweh shall be my Elohim.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 28:22
22 “And this stone which I have set as a pillar shall be Elohim’s house, and of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You.”

Qorintim Bet (2 Corinthians) 9:7-8
7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for Elohim loves a cheerful giver.
8 And Elohim is able to make all favor abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

Lavan deceives Yaakov

B’reisheet (Genesis) 29:15-17
15 Then Lavan said to Yaakov, “Because you are my relative, should you therefore serve me for nothing? Tell me, what should your wages be?”
16 Now Laban had two daughters: the name of the elder was Leah, and the name of the younger was Rachel.
17 Leah’s eyes were weak, but Rachel was beautiful of form and appearance.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 24:14 (Chayei Sarah)
14 “Now let it be that the young woman to whom I say, ‘Please let down your pitcher that I may drink,’ and she says, ‘Drink, and I will also give your camels a drink‘—let her be the one You have appointed for Your servant Isaac. And by this I will know that You have shown kindness to my master.”

B’reisheet (Genesis) 29:18-19
18 Now Yaakov loved Rachel; so he said, “I will serve you seven years for Rachel your younger daughter.”
19 And Lavan said, “It is better that I give her to you than that I should give her to another man. Stay with me.”

(The bride and groom would have been kept separated from then until the wedding.)

B’reisheet (Genesis) 29:20-21
20 So Yaakov served seven years for Rachel, and they seemed only a few days to him because of the love he had for her.
21 Then Yaakov said to Lavan, “Give me my wife, for my days are fulfilled, that I may go in to her.”

(He was separated from Rachel.)

B’reisheet (Genesis) 29:22-23
22 And Lavan gathered together all the men of the place and made a drinking party [מִשְׁתֶּה].
23 Now it came to pass in the evening, that he took Leah his daughter and brought her to Yaakov; and he went in to her.
24 And Lavan gave his maid Zilpah to his daughter Leah as a maid.

Strong’s Concordance H4960
מִשְׁתֶּה mishteh mish-teh’

שָׁתָה shâthâh shaw-thaw’
A primitive root; to imbibe (literally or figuratively). : – X assuredly, banquet, X certainly, drink (-er, -ing), drunk (X -ard), surely….

B’reisheet (Genesis) 29:25
25 So it came to pass in the morning, that behold, it was Leah! And he said to Lavan, “What is this you have done to me? Was it not for Rachel that I served you? Why then have you deceived me?

PARALLELS:
Genesis 27: Laven’s sister Rivkah dresses Yaakov up and gives him savory food, to trick his blind father into thinking he was Esav, to cheat Esav out of the blessing.
Genesis 29: Lavan gets Yaakov “blind drunk”, to trick him into thinking Leah was Rachel (so he would marry them both).

(“You shall reap what you sow.”)

Leah and Rachel

B’reisheet (Genesis) 29:31-32
31 When Yahweh saw that Leah was unloved, He opened her womb; but Rachel was barren.
32 So Leah conceived and bore a son, and she called his name Reuven; for she said, “Yahweh has surely looked on my affliction. Now therefore, my husband will love me.”

B’reisheet (Genesis) 29:33
33 Then she conceived again and bore a son, and said, “Because Yahweh has heard that I am unloved, He has therefore given me this son also.” And she called his name Shimeon.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 29:34
34 She conceived again and bore a son, and said, “Now this time my husband will become attached to me, because I have borne him three sons.” Therefore his name was called Levi.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 30:14
14 Now Reuven went in the days of wheat harvest and found mandrakes in the field, and brought them to his mother Leah. Then Rachel said to Leah, “Please give me some of your son’s mandrakes.”

B’reisheet (Genesis) 30:15
15 But she said to her, “Is it a small matter that you have taken away my husband? Would you take away my son’s mandrakes also?” And Rachel said, “Therefore he will lie with you tonight for your son’s mandrakes.”

Vayiqra (Leviticus) 18:18
18  Nor shall you take a woman as a rival to her sister, to uncover her nakedness while the other is alive.

The speckled goats and brown lambs

B’reisheet (Genesis) 30:31-32
31 So he said, “What shall I give you?” And Yaakov said, “You shall not give me anything. If you will do this thing for me, I will again feed and keep your flocks:
32 “Let me pass through all your flock today, removing from there all the speckled and spotted sheep, and all the brown ones among the lambs, and the spotted and speckled among the goats; and these shall be my wages.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 30:33-34
34 And Lavan said, “Oh, that it were according to your word!”
35 So he removed that day the male goats that were speckled and spotted, all the female goats that were speckled and spotted, every one that had some white in it, and all the brown ones among the lambs, and gave them into the hand of his sons.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 30:36-37
36 Then he put three days’ journey between himself and Yaakov, and Yaakov fed the rest of Lavan’s flocks.
37 Now Yaakov took for himself rods of green poplar and of the almond and chestnut trees, peeled white strips in them, and exposed the white which was in the rods.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 30:38-39
38 And the rods which he had peeled, he set before the flocks in the gutters, in the watering troughs where the flocks came to drink, so that they should conceive when they came to drink.
39 So the flocks conceived before the rods, and the flocks brought forth streaked, speckled, and spotted.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 30:41-42
41 And it came to pass, whenever the stronger livestock conceived, that Yaakov placed the rods before the eyes of the livestock in the gutters, that they might conceive among the rods.
42 But when the flocks were feeble, he did not put them in; so the feebler were Laban’s and the stronger Yaakov’s.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 31:1-2
1 Now Yaakov heard the words of Lavan’s sons, saying, “Yaakov has taken away all that was our father’s, and from what was our father’s he has acquired all this wealth.”
2 And Yaakov saw the countenance of Laban, and indeed it was not favorable toward him as before.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 31:3
3 Then Yahweh said to Yaakov, “Return to the land of your fathers and to your family, and I will be with you.”

B’reisheet (Genesis) 31:10-11
10 “And it happened, at the time when the flocks conceived, that I lifted my eyes and saw in a dream, and behold, the rams which leaped upon the flocks were streaked, speckled, and gray-spotted.
11 “Then the Messenger of Elohim spoke to me in a dream, saying, ‘Yaakov.’ And I said, ‘Here I am.’

Yaakov’s return home

B’reisheet (Genesis) 31:12-13
12 “And He said, ‘Lift your eyes now and see, all the rams which leap on the flocks are streaked, speckled, and gray-spotted; for I have seen all that Laban is doing to you.
13 I am the Elohim of Bethel, where you anointed the pillar and where you made a vow to Me. Now arise, get out of this land, and return to the land of your family.’ “

B’reisheet (Genesis) 31:14-15
14 Then Rachel and Leah answered and said to him, “Is there still any portion or inheritance for us in our father’s house?
15 “Are we not considered strangers by him? For he has sold us, and also completely consumed our money.”

B’reisheet (Genesis) 31:19-20
19 Now Lavan had gone to shear his sheep, and Rachel had stolen the household idols that were her father’s.
20 And Yaakov stole away, unknown to Lavan the Syrian, in that he did not tell him that he intended to flee.

Leah = Judah
Rachel = Joseph = Church

B’reisheet (Genesis) 31:32
32 “With whomever you find your gods [idols], do not let him live. In the presence of our brethren, identify what I have of yours and take it with you.” For Yaakov did not know that Rachel had stolen them.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 35:19-20 (Vayishelach)
19 So Rachel died and was buried on the way to Ephrath (that is, Beit Lechem).
20 And Yaakov set a pillar on her grave, which is the pillar of Rachel’s grave to this day.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 32:1-2
1 So Yaakov went on his way, and the angels of Elohim met him.
2 When Yaakov saw them, he said, “This is Elohim’s camp.” And he called the name of that place Mahanaim.

Strong’s Concordance H4266
מַחֲנַיִםmachănayim makh-an-ah’-yim
Dual of H4264; double camp; Machanajim, a place in Palestine: – Mahanaim.

Brit Chadasha

Biblical character vs self-seeking

Yaakov (James) 3:1
1 My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment.

Yaakov (James) 3:2-3
2 For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.
3 Indeed, we put bits in horses’ mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body.

Yaakov (James) 3:5-6
5 Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles!
6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell.

Yaakov (James) 3:7-9
7 For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind.
8 But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
9 With it we bless our Elohim and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of Elohim.

Yaakov (James) 3:10-12
10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.
11 Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening?
12 Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh.

Yaakov (James) 3:13-15
13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.
14 But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth.
15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic.

Yaakov (James) 3:16-18
16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Yaakov (James) 4:1-2
1 Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members?
2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.

Yaakov (James) 4:3-4
3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.
4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with Elohim? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of Elohim.

Yaakov (James) 4:5-7
5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously“?
6 But He gives more favor. Therefore He says: “Elohim resists the proud, but gives favor to the humble.”
7 Therefore submit to Elohim. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Yaakov (James) 4:8-10
8 Draw near to Elohim and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of Yahweh, and He will lift you up.

Yaakov (James) 4:11-12
11 Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the Torah and judges the Torah! But if you judge the Torah, you are not a doer of the Torah but a judge.
12 There is one Torahgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?

Yes, it should look like the first century. I am so grieved about what I have seen with the Messianic movement. I feel sad that people are being lead into that broad path thinking they are in the narrow. The people are being mislead😢😢😢😢. So it seems there is no place to fellowship. I am so thankful for your ministry. I would love being part of it.

Filipim (Philippians) 1:6-7
6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Yeshua HaMashiach;
7 just as it is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as both in my chains and in the defense and confirmation of the Good News, you all are partakers with me of favor.

A prayer for Judah and Joseph:

That we will no longer focus on MAN’S words, But that we will all focus on YAHWEH’S words! And that Yahweh will raise up true servant leaders for the house of Ephraim, who want to do things YAHWEH’s way, so we can form the Stick of Joseph, and be joined together with our brothers and sisters in Judah (in the land of Israel).
