Welcome to Nazarene Israel. My name is Norman Willis. And this is our parasha series for the members of the Genesis 35:11 Alliance, with the kingship tribe of Judah at the core, surrounded by a company of Protestant Christian nations.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 35:11
11 Also Elohim said to him: “I am Elohim Almighty. Be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall proceed from you, and kings shall come from your body.”

And it is a sode-level secret that is hidden in plain sight for both houses to see! So, it is time for Brother Judah to wake up and smell the ketoret!

Yehezqel and two sticks

The main thing that Judah needs to realize is that there is a big difference between the Esavite-Catholic Christians, and the Ephraimite (or Josephite) Protestant Christians. (Just not a big enough difference, so Nazarene Israel must come out of Protestantism, including Messianism!)

And that is because Yehezqel 37:16 says that the house of Judah “took a political stick” for itself back in 1898, with the first world Zionist congress.

Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 37:16a
16a “As for you, son of man, take a stick for yourself and write on it: ‘For Judah and for the children of Israel, his companions.’”

And Judah invested time and money, and his investment paid off a Jubilee of years later in 1948, when the nation of Israel was born in one day.

Next, Yehezqel 37:16 says that there must be a stick of Ephraim (also called the stick of Joseph). And this is to be a political organization, similar to the Zionist movement, but different.

Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 37:16b
16b “Then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel, his companions.’”

And you say, “Wait! You cannot talk politics while talking the Bible, because according to the rules of Babylonian democracy, you are supposed to have a separation of assembly and state. Except you cannot talk Bible without talking politics, because you have political organization right here in Yehezqel 37!

It was a long time coming, but Judah has had a stick ever since the first world Zionist congress in the late 1890’s. And over time, Judah found ways to develop a political organization to give light and life to their Talmudist dream of re-occupying the land and rebuilding the temple, without keeping the written Torah, and without Yeshua.

So, Ephraim figures that according to Scripture, it ought to be “equal weights, and equal measures”, right? If the kingship tribe and the priesthood tribe can form their own political organization to subvert the Torah of Elohim, then Ephraim should be able to form impertinent political organizations too, right? Ephraim also ought to be able to make up his own religion, just like Judah and Levi do with the Talmud, right?

Joseph’s role

But now Ephraim, he is all mad, because it is not actually equal weights and measures. Surprise! Judah is the kingship tribe, and Levi is the Levitical priesthood tribe. Joseph does not have those superpowers.

The only superpower Joseph has is that the Devarim 33:21 tells us that the portion of the lawgiver (meaning the right to set Halachah) was hidden in the tribe of Gad. (And that is what we are exercising here!)

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 33:21
21 He provided the first part for himself, Because a lawgiver’s portion was reserved there. He came with the heads of the people; He administered the justice of Yahweh, And His judgments with Israel.”

But Joseph just needs to get it into his head that just because Judah and Levi are doing the wrong thing, that is no reason that we get to do the wrong thing!

Yahweh wants Joseph to work the Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-20 for His Son, (like it says in verse 20), so that we do everything Yeshua has commanded us to do, because that is how we are to build His kingdom!

Mattityahu (Matthew) 28:20
20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amein.

Yeshua’s instructed foundation

And in Ephesians 4:11, Yeshua Himself tells us to use a combination of five principle gifts to build His kingdom. (Those of apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors, and teachers). And that this is how we grow the body and hold each other accountable. Because we love each other, and we want each other to make it, for His honor.

Ephesim (Ephesians) 4:11
11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,

And if we are realistic, we know that serving Him is not easy. But do we quit because the going gets tough?

Verse 13 tells us that we are supposed to operate this way “until when, o Yahweh?” Until when do we have to do this?

Ephesim (Ephesians) 4:13
13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of Elohim, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Mashiach;

Until we all do it! Until we all come to the unity of the faith! (And we are not there yet!)

And we are supposed to all be practicing this way until we become perfect men, who measure up the stature and fullness of Messiah Yeshua! (Is anyone there yet?)

And verse 14 tells us that the reason we should do this is that we should no longer be spiritual children. (Are you listening, Messianic movement?)

And that we should no longer be tossed about, and carried out with every wind of doctrine from the book salesmen, in the cunning craftiness of their deceitful plotting. (And it is cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, because they are not doing what Yeshua said to do!)

Ephesim (Ephesians) 4:14
14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,

Rather, they are making money by talking about the things Yeshua said, instead of doing and guarding all the things that Yeshua said to do! Because 40 separate ministries are not the same as a single, unified body of Messiah that operates in keeping with Yeshua’s instructions. Because Yeshua does not want division.

Hirelings and fragmentation

So, what you see in the Messianic movement is a bunch of hirelings making money talking about what Yeshua said to do. But you do not see a bunch of dedicated disciples earnestly doing what Yeshua said to do and helping others to do the same.

And it is just my guess that the front row seats of hell are going to be filled with ministers who knew what Yeshua said, but instead of disciplining themselves to do it, to help Messiah’s body grow as a unified whole with their Elohim given gifts, they built independent ministries for themselves.

And whether they care to realize it or not, independence in ministry fragments Yeshua’s body. And they say, “Well, the workman is worthy of his hire!” But what they are doing is not what Yeshua says to do. And worse, it fragments Yeshua’s body.

If we are willing to receive it, independent ministry is at best a passively hostile act toward Yeshua and His kingdom, because it undermines the commandment to have a single, unified body. It is a replacement for what Yeshua’s words say to do. It is treason against Yeshua’s commandment to unify the kingdom.

Verse 15 tells us that the way we are to unify the body is to speak the truth in love. That we speak the truth, the full truth, and nothing but the truth, so help us Yahweh.

Ephesim (Ephesians) 4:15
15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Mashiach—

Because the principle in Proverbs 27:17 is that just as iron sharpens iron, so a man is to sharpen the face of his friend.

Mishle (Proverbs) 27:17
17 As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.

The bride Yeshua wants

So, forgive me for sharpening you, brothers. But all the five gifts are to help us keep each other on track. But that cannot happen if the sheep decide to be goats! That cannot happen if the fourth kind of soil turns out to be one of the other three kinds, can it? And the seed cannot take root unless we are cultivating our own soil in spirit, and in truth, can it?

You know, tell me something, Ephraim. How can you be bond servants, and yet you decide not to obey all of Yeshua’s words, as your Master? Are you a servant? or not?

And if you are a servant, then are you eager to be a good servant, who loves his Jewish Master, and is eager to please Him, and do everything that He said to do, as well as you possibly can?

Because that is a bride, is it not? Is a helper? What are we helping Him with? Anything?

Verse 16 tells us that if we want to stop cutting ourselves off from the vine, then we need to get involved. (That is a paraphrase, but that is what it says.)

Ephesim (Ephesians) 4:16 (?)
16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

We need to stop thinking about getting things from Elohim (like eternal salvation for free, or for easy)! We need to stop behaving like entitled, selfish children who only think about their parents for what they can get from them!

We need to start falling in love with the man who gave His life for us! And for all of Judah, also. And for the whole world! We need to fall in love with Him for real and forget what we can get out of it!

And, not coincidentally, that is when the blessings truly start to flow, is when we start putting Him first. Loving him with all our hearts! (Sound familiar?)

Ephraim’s level of faithfulness

Ephraim, did you know that if you vowel point it correctly, that ‘King David’ becomes ‘King Dude’?

So, come on, dudes! If you love Yeshua, tell me about Him! What does He like? What does He not like, say, in a bride? And what makes Him or His Father happy? And what makes Him or His Father mad?

And how does He feel about people who say they obey Him and His Father, when they lie? How does His Father feel about people who cheapen His Son’s sacrifice? How does Yahweh feel about Judah replacing the written Torah with the Talmud?

How does Yahweh feel about Ephraim claiming the salvation by the blood of the sacrificed lamb, and then they do not do what He says?

So, Judah and Ephraim, we are a bunch of fraudsters! (And we will get started on Ishmael in the Abraham Accords series.)

How does Elohim feel about us cheapening the mission His Father sent Him on, to get rebellious mankind to defect back to Him, after giving our allegiance basically to the fallen watchers of 1 Enoch (and their human volunteer sock-puppet manifestations)?

How does Elohim feel about our forefathers swearing allegiance and loyalty to Him for all time, only to have them and now us putting other things over Him? How does He feel about us having other priorities than serving Him exactly the way He says?

How does He feel that He has a plan to re-conquer the earth through love and patient endurance, to win back His rebellious creation through the children of Israel, (who was willing to follow Him, and who, like his forefather Avraham, was willing to sojourn at His word), but now whose children seem to care nothing about Him?

How does our love plan to help to bring things into the correct order? How does our love plan to bring about the Tikkun ha-olam (repairing of the world)?

Judah’s avoidance of Daniel 9:25-26

Do we even read the Tanach, to search these matters out? Or are we content to listen to the rabbis, who thought I was their gentile Christian Messiah? (The anti-messiah, basically.)

(It is kind of a dubious honor.)

They asked me to convert all of you to Orthodox Judaism, to fulfill their prophecy of Mashiach ben Yosef, or the Josephite-Christian Messiah.

So, I really tried the best I could. But I had a little problem with Daniel 9:25-26, which requires Mashiach Nagid to come near the end of the second temple period.

Verse 26 specifies that he must be cut off, but not for Himself, just before the second temple was destroyed.

Daniel 9:26
26 “And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; and the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, and till the end of the war desolations are determined.”

So, I asked Nasi Weiss and Secretary Stein for an alternative explanation, who could it be? And I got death threats, and they ghosted me. (That is a condensed version.)

Judah, this is your leadership! You are staring into your own navels for so long that you think the Mishnah has more authority than the written Torah of Moshe! And You think the Mishnah has more authority than Elohim’s prophets!

Or are you just scared to read the Tanach, because you are scared of what you might find?

Rabbi calls for death of Jews who believe in Jesus.
[Rabbi: The Talmud Says Jesus Is Boiling In Faeces As Punishment, PeaceBeUnto You]

Well, that is quite some scholarship there! Maybe you can explain Daniel 9:25-26 to us?

Daniel 9:25
25 “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince, there shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublesome times.”

The Sanhedrin could not. So, they resorted to death threats! (And for this you were chosen as the kingship and the priesthood? Are you kidding me?)

Ephraim’s lack of fruit

And Ephraim. How can we get Ephraim to stop playing games with his eternal salvation?

Ephesim 4:16 tells us that we will have unity when everyone does their fair share. (That is a paraphrase, but that is what it says.)

Ephesim (Ephesians) 4:16
16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

We do not have unity when we have a half-dozen families working like mad hours, with maybe a dozen families supporting them, and then hundreds do nothing for Yeshua!

They show no fruits of their love for their Husband and King Yeshua. I am sorry, I know what love is. And that is not love!

Love is not when you have the warm and fuzzies because your sugar-daddy is always giving you everything you want for free (although He will give you your inheritance in this lifetime, if you ask Him for that). (If you get my meaning.)

Lots of people are learning good things, and that is good. Only, the Messianic movement forgot something. Is learning the same as doing?

Is learning about the Great Commission and the Fivefold Ministry the same as doing the Great Commission and the Fivefold Ministry to produce a single, unified body of Messiah, operating as the Renewed Covenant says to operate, which is on a single foundation of apostles and prophets?

What we will see in this parasha is, Surprise! The Great Commission and the Fivefold Ministry are the political framework for Yehezqel 37:16 that Yeshua wants His people to work at together, as a family team. (Or a team family!)

Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 37:16
16 “As for you, son of man, take a stick for yourself and write on it: ‘For Judah and for the children of Israel, his companions.’ Then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel, his companions.’”

Take your pick, but pick one and play! And it is pay to play! It is rent your oar! And be thankful there was an oar with your name on it in heaven, if you get my meaning!

If you love your Husband and you love your King, and you treasure your role as a slave-princess, then come rent your oar, and let us get this Viking longship on the road! Because the tribe of Gad has a lot to do today, and we need your help!

Ephraim fails at Matthew 5:20 big time!

Because, brothers, this is where Mattityahu (Matthew) 5:20 comes into play. This is where Ephraim needs to keep the Torah better than Brother Judah.

Mattityahu (Matthew) 5:20
20 “For I say to you, that unless your righteousness [Torah keeping] exceeds the righteousness [Torah keeping] of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.”

Now do not get me wrong, Brother Judah is awesome at what he does! No one does Tamar-and-Zera sexcapades better! No one controls finances like the black horse!

Only, the southerners have basically formed a secular, democratic, political framework, after the manner of Mystery Babylon—and it is called democracy. And as we explain in all our works, democracy was created in Ancient Babylon. And Yahweh and Yeshua hate it! Democracy is a Babylonian abomination!

I deeply apologize if I failed to help you all understand before that the Tanach calls for a conservative-fraternal-participant-theocratic-governmental-familial framework. That is, a unified patriarchal brotherhood.

And this is the same principles and precepts as Yeshua commands with the Fivefold Ministry unifying the body on a single foundation of apostles and prophets. It is a simple protocol and a simple dynamic that can have a profound and transformative effect on the body, basically breathing life into it.

But we cannot just read about it. We must do it! We must live by it! It must become who we are. We must care more about Yeshua than about ourselves, or else, what is our love for Him?

Is our love for Him mere selfish interest? Do we love Him because He is good to us? Khalilah.

Torah portion: Levitical to EXACT specifications

This week we are going to talk about the tabernacle of Moshe, and what we will call the Levitical tabernacle (for clarity), and also the Tabernacle of David. (Or the Tabernacle of King Dude.)

And we will see that Elohim is offering one last chance to Ephraim, and Judah, to wake up, and consider what His words really say. And what they should mean to a wise man who fears Elohim in truth.

Kicked out of the Garden

We will talk about this more in the Abraham Accords series, but for perspective, B’reisheet 2:15 tells us that Elohim originally made us to serve as His gardeners. And as His gardeners, He expected His gardeners to take good care of His garden. And to take good care of each other.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 2:15
15 Then Yahweh Elohim took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.

But we know that things went wrong, and verses like B’reisheet 3:24 tell us that because we did not listen to Elohim’s voice–we had to go. So, He placed cherubim at the east of the Garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the Tree of Life.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 3:24
24 So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.

And what that means is, if we do not carefully listen for His voice, to obey it, we cannot partake of the Tree of Life. Do you get what I am saying?

If we are not even going to listen, then guess what? We kick ourselves out of His garden, and we get the sword drawn out after us. And we deserve it! It is that simple!

And it happens again and again. And what we do not realize is that each time we fail, we lose potential. What is offered to us after we fail is not the same as what we are offered before we fail. It costs us not to pay attention.

So, if any of us want to be wise virgins, and use our time wisely to prepare for the Wedding, then let us talk about the tabernacle of Moshe.

Climbing the restoration ladder

Now, in context, we just left Egypt. So, what are we doing with the Exodus? What is Yahweh’s point?

Yahweh is trying to take us from a loose-knit collection of brothers, who would have fragmented after our common forefather Israel’s death, if Elohim had not allowed us to become afflicted together and smelted together in the iron furnace of Egypt.

And while in slavery in Egypt we had no choice but to be under the Egyptian government and priesthood. But now we needed our own government, and our own priesthood.

And since we were no longer in the Garden, now we need a place where Elohim can meet with us. We can no longer go into the Garden, but now we can make a portable Garden of Eden we can carry around with us.

It is a place where we can show Elohim our sincerity, by building Him a house, and living by His rules in it. And if we can live by His rules in His house, then maybe someday we can be worthy to come closer to Him in the resurrection. But it depends completely on how we are now. Do you know what I mean?

So, we can make a special little walled sanctuary (or like a little walled Garden of Eden) where He can meet with us.

(Kind of like a private date place where His potential brides can meet with Him, and He can decide if He is pleased or not with our representation to Him in this generation.)

We were no good in His Garden, so we had to be kicked out. So, now we build Him a little Garden restaurant where He can come and meet with us, if we do everything the right way.

(And does it not seem like Ephraim never gets the “everything” part.)

But the tabernacle is like a step house toward restoring the relationship with Him. We are showing Him that yes, we want to obey His instructions most carefully. And this shows Him that we actually do care, because we are obeying Him, rather than ourselves (which was the problem before).

(And in fact, as we will see, Scripture is a series of steps toward climbing Jacob’s ladder up to Him, and restoring our relationship with Him [as a species] long term.)

A new start

Okay, so, where is our species in the history line? Yahweh sprang our people from Egypt in the first Exodus along with the erev rav, (or the mixed multitude).
And since we are going to be our own nation now, we will need both our own government, and our own priesthood, because Paro and his buddies are no longer over us.

And if we did what Yahweh had said, we would only ever need a priesthood, because Yahweh Himself was going to be our King.

(Can you imagine? What a sweet deal! You would never lose a war, ever! You only must do what He says, and that is it! Sounds great, right?)

Shemote (Exodus) 25:1-2
1 Then Yahweh spoke to Moshe, saying:
2 “Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring Me an offering. From everyone who gives it willingly with his heart you shall take My offering.”

Ephraim gets this one backwards. Yahweh only wants us to give when we are willing and eager to give, because He only wants to choose those who give willingly. So, if we are not willing (meaning chomping at the bit) to do all we can to help Yeshua build the kingdom His Father sent Him to get us to build in His absence, then what does He want us for?

And Yahweh says to take Him an offering of gold, silver, and bronze, and everything else we would need to build a portable restaurant and hangout where Yahweh can dwell among us again, if we are being good.

Verse 8 says, “And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them.”

Shemote (Exodus) 25:8
8 And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them.

That is Amazing! Can we think about that? We used to dwell with Yahweh, until we got ourselves kicked out of His Garden. Now, He promises to dwell with us, if we will do all that He says, exactly the way He says it!

If we are going to be good bridal candidates, then, well… maybe the relationship can still work, if we take it seriously?

Shemote (Exodus) 25:9
9 “According to all that I show you, that is, the pattern of the Tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings, just so you shall make it.”

[Meaning, we need to pay attention to His details!]

Halfway house for a wayward bride

So, if we want to help Him fix up the fallen world we helped to mess up, now, instead of tending His Garden, we must make Him a nice portable house with a big barbecue, where we can come and meet with Him whenever He says, however He says!

And if we pay attention to the details, this will show Him that maybe we do love Him, and that we do respect Him after all—and that we want to do everything that He tells us to do.

And that we want to do this so as to re-establish the loving trust relationship that we destroyed by cheating on Him in the Garden (and every other time we have ever cheated on Him).

So, this is like a halfway house for us as a wayward bride. And even if we are not wayward, Yahweh wants us to open the doors to others of the world who are wayward, during the Millennium.

But we of both houses must get our act together first. And for Judah that means stop reading Talmud and start reading only the words of Elohim. And for Ephraim that means start doing the things you read!

Does anyone get the fullness of what Yahweh is offering us, and you just want in? Even when we have to transform ourselves from the inside out?

This is right after the Exodus, so most of our ancestors are still thinking that this is going to be a short cake walk. Yahweh just sprung us from prison. And He made sure that we came out with great possessions, and lots of things!

“Yeah, sure! We will throw Yahweh a bone. Sure! Maybe He will make the whole trip this easy? Maybe He will send a flying carpet to whisk us off to the promised land?”

“Or maybe Yahweh will contact captain Kirk of the USS Enterprise, and have him beam us all over to the promised land? Or at least an air-conditioned charter tour bus?”

“Maybe if we throw Yahweh a bone right now, maybe He will not give His war bride anything to do, to help Him win back rebellious humanity and His rebellious bride?”

“What do you think, Vern?”) Do you think we can pull one over on Yahweh? Do you think we can slide one past the Creator of the universe? He is only a war Elohim with perfect omniscience! Do you think we can take Him? Let us treat Yahweh like a thing of the world.

“Let us see how much we can get for how little. That will show Him honor and respect, will it not?”

Well, it turns out that Yahweh wants a whole lot more than that we just build Him some box with a barbecue, and have a set-apart picnic with Him. It turns out Yahweh wants a whole lot more than just a “Holy barbecue”.

Yahweh wants a “clean-hearted barbecue picnic” with those of His people who love Him and trust Him enough to do all that He says, exactly the way He says it! (And no excuses like, “No! He does not want that, does He?”)

Yahweh’s instruction

Let us read Shemote 25:9 again.

Shemote (Exodus) 25:9 [Excusephraim Version]
9 “According to all that I show you, that is, the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings, you do not need to physically do what I said, just so long as you read about what I said.”

Oh no, wait! Something is wrong with that version. Let us try that again.

Shemote (Exodus) 25:9
9 “According to all that I show you, that is, the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings, just so you shall make it.”

There is a reason for that! If you build a computer–how well does it work if you do not assemble it right? If you build a car but not according to the specifications, how well does it run? He wants us to build the Levitical mechanism as He says. (What is so hard to understand about this?)

Shemote (Exodus) 25:40 [Talmudistan version]
40 “And see to it that you build it according to the pattern in the Talmud.”

Oh no, wait! Sorry, that is not right, either!

Shemote (Exodus) 25:40
40 “See to it that you make them according to the pattern which Elohim showed you on the mountain.”

Meaning, Elohim’s servants should do everything the way that Elohim says! (Concept!) What is so hard about this?

Next is Shemote 26:30

Shemote (Exodus) 26:30 [Ephrebellion Version]
30 “And you shall raise up the Tabernacle however you see fit, because you know better than Elohim!”

Oh no, wait! Wrong version!

Shemote (Exodus) 26:30
30 “And you shall raise up the Tabernacle according to its pattern which you were shown on the mountain.”

Hmmmm… you know, it is like Yahweh is trying to tell us something here! What could it be?

Devarim 12:8 prohibits us from doing things the way we think is best. It tells us to be diligent to do everything that Elohim commands, the way He commands it!

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 12:8
8 “You shall not at all do as we are doing here today—every man doing whatever is right in his own eyes—”

And we only have time to open the can of worms here, but if we are talking about the redemption of Israel, we are going to see a lot of tents, and a lot of houses.

These are all little walled “Garden of Eden” substitutes, where Elohim will consent to meet with us inside the camp (that is key!), if we will do what we agreed to do back in Parasha Yitro.

In Shemote 19:5, Yahweh told us that what He wanted was for us to indeed obey His voice and keep His written Covenant (meaning the written Torah, but we extend that to the Tanach), that is when we shall be a special treasure to Him above all people.

(That is because we do not behave like all the other people.)

Shemote (Exodus) 19:5
5 “Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine.”

And verse 6 tells us that if we (like the prophets) would listen and do everything His voice says to do, then we would be to Him a kingdom of priests, and a set-apart nation.

Shemote (Exodus) 19:6
6 “And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a set-apart nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.”

We just have a hard time understanding the definition of “everything“. We are so smart, we do not understand the word “all”.

Because according to Judah, doing everything Yahweh’s voice ever said to do means diligently studying and enacting the Talmud and cursing your brothers in Joseph to death with the Birkhat HaMinim (or the daily death curse).

For the apostates [meaning anyone who has left Orthodox Judaism, such as Yeshua (or Jesus), and everyone who follows Him] let there be no hope! And uproot the kingdom of arrogance speedily and in our days! May the Nazarenes and [all] the [other] sectarians [or the other “minim”] perish, as in a moment!  Let them be blotted out of the Book of Life, and not be written together with the righteous! You are praised, O Adonai, who subdues the arrogant!”
[Wikipedia, Jerusalem Talmud-Birkat haMinim]

And to Ephraim, doing everything Yahweh’s voice ever said means diligently reading both the Tanach and the Brit Chadasha (and 1 Enoch), and then picking and choosing what parts we like, to make a broader easier road that we would prefer to walk, instead of being diligent about what Yeshua said to do.

For both houses, we do what seems good and right in our own eyes. (And that just makes Him mad, because we know what He says to do, we just do not want to do it.) Or we do not want to do it the way He says. Either way, He considers that lukewarm rebellion.

We look. We only get warm. We are rebels deserving of death, and we do not want anyone to wake us up from it!

A clean camp

Ok, so, how can studying tents and houses help? In Parasha Ki Tetze, in Devarim 23:14, we will be told that Yahweh our Elohim walks in the midst of our camp, to deliver us, and to give our enemies over to us; therefore, our camp must be set-apart from worldly attitudes, and worldly defilements, that Yahweh may see no unclean thing among us, and turn away from us.

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 23:14
14 For Yahweh your Elohim walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and give your enemies over to you; therefore your camp shall be set-apart, that He may see no unclean thing among you, and turn away from you.

And most of us have no clue how easy it is to get Yahweh to turn away. Because why? Because we do not think His presence in our camp (or in our home) is really all that critical, so we pay no attention to Him. (Or else why?)

Now notice. In two more portions, in Parasha Ki Tisa, we will see our ancestors’ sin with the Golden Calf.

In Shemote 33:3, Yahweh said that we would have to go up to a land flowing with milk and honey on our own; for we were so disobedient, Yahweh said that He would not go up in our midst, lest He consume us on the way, for doing pretty much like we do today.

Shemote (Exodus) 33:3
3 “Go up to a land flowing with milk and honey; for I will not go up in your midst, lest I consume you on the way, for you are a stiff-necked people.”

Only we do not think so! But that is why, in Shemote 33:7, Moshe took his tent and pitched it outside the camp, far from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of Meeting. And it came to pass that everyone who sought Yahweh had to go out to the tabernacle of meeting which was outside the camp.

Shemote (Exodus) 33:7
7 Moshe took his tent and pitched it outside the camp, far from the camp, and called it the tabernacle of meeting. And it came to pass that everyone who sought Yahweh went out to the tabernacle of meeting which was outside the camp.

Because why? Because we were no longer worthy to have Him inside our camp. Because we did not want to do everything the way Elohim said. Just like today!

Why is it that Judah expects a reward for replacing Elohim’s words in the written Torah with their own words in Talmud, and then pretending that they are still obeying Elohim’s Torah?

And why is it that Ephraim is expecting a reward for reading all the right books, and then not doing everything they say, the way they say to do it?

Judah and Levi do what they want. And Ephraim does not do anything. And yet somehow, both Judah and Joseph–we still expect that we are not in disobedience, but that we are 100% completely righteous. And that somehow the war Elohim is going to smile, even though we disobey His commands!

Obeying the Commander

When I was in the army, I knew for a fact that if I did not do what My Commander said, I would be up on charges. And I would not even think to disobey the general of the army, much less the president. And yet do not Judah and Ephraim blow off the words of their Maker all the time?

It is a fact that 99% of you watching this video are not doing what Scripture says.

Do you expect a reward for learning what you are supposed to do, but then you do not want to do it? How does that please Elohim?

That does not qualify as ‘willing to give an offering’. So do not give. But Ephraim had better pray about his heart and his faith condition. Because what you are saying is, you do not want to join the jealous war Elohim’s team. You do not want to help establish the war Elohim’s kingdom. How is that going to go in the judgment?

I am paraphrasing, but Einstein is reported to have said that insanity can be operationally defined as ‘doing the same thing over and over and over again, while expecting different results’.

We do the same lazy self-centered thing, and you expect a different result. And we do not see ourselves as being disobedient?

We disobey Him all the time, but we cannot seem to catch ourselves in the act. We know we are not doing exactly what He said to do, or exactly how He said to do it. (Deep in our hearts, we know that!)

But we do not think that qualifies as being disobedient? Because we could not possibly be disobedient, could we?

“No, not us! We are not disobedient. We are just not listening for His voice, or doing all it says, the way He says it. But that is not being disobedient, is it? No, that is being good disciples, who discipline themselves to do everything that Elohim ever said to do, right?”

“Disobedience and gross dereliction of duty qualifies as discipleship, does it not?”

Ok well, big sigh. No one thinks they are disobedient, except now in verse 7, Moshe must go outside the camp to meet with Elohim, so that Elohim will not destroy us all.

Shemote (Exodus) 33:7
7 Moshe took his tent and pitched it outside the camp, far from the camp, and called it the tabernacle of meeting. And it came to pass that everyone who sought Yahweh went out to the tabernacle of meeting which was outside the camp.

(But no one is disobedient, right? And no one really needs to change, right?)

Following our ancestor’s habits

Now let us remember the Ramban’s famous dictum that “The deeds of the patriarchs are a portent (or a sign) for their descendants.”

It is indeed a great matter which our rabbis mentioned briefly, saying: “Whatever has happened to the patriarchs is a sign (or a portent) to the children!”
[“The Deeds of the Forefathers are Signs (or Portents) for their Descendants”, Ramban commentary on Genesis 12:6, Sefaria]

In other words, if our ancestors fell into disobedience before, we need to watch out, so that we do not fall into the same patterns of disobedience again. Because it is likely!

If our ancestors were slackers before, then do we not have to guard ourselves against slacking now? And what about our children? Do we not need to give them an example of guarding against this?

So, Israel sinned, and now Joshua remains in the Tabernacle of Meeting, which is outside the camp.

Shemote 33:11
11 So Yahweh spoke to Moshe face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. And he would return to the camp, but his servant Joshua the son of nun, a young man from the tribe of Ephraim, did not depart from the Tabernacle of Meeting.

Inside verses outside

Okay! Now buckle up, and let us play ‘Righteous Tent Inside’ and ‘Mercy Tent Outside’ for the rest of the parasha! (And we hope to expand on this greatly in the Abraham Accords series.)

When we sinned in the Garden of Eden, we had to go outside. And when we sinned in the land of Israel, we had to go outside the land.

And because the camp was not clean, Joshua (or Yehoshua, or Yeshua) ben Nun remained outside the camp (symbolic of outside the land), where the northern house of Israel would later go.

And in that, Yehoshua ben Nun is a type of Yeshua Messiah (just as Moshe is another type of messiah figure).

Now this will probably make a lot more sense if you have read the Torah Government study, but outside the land of Israel, and outside the camp, there was the Order of Melchizedek. (Avraham, Yitzhak, and Yaakov all tithed to the Order of Melchizedek, which was external to our house.)

But now Yahweh wanted to establish a Firstfruits Priesthood inside the camp of Israel. So, the Melchizedekian Order would be outside the camp of Israel, while the Firstfruits Priesthood would be inside the camp of Israel.

What we will see when we get to the Abraham Accords series is this whole pattern of the Levitical Order inside the land, versus the order of kings and priests (or the Order of Melchi-Tzedek if you like) outside the land.

Inside the land you will have the Levitical order, and the Levitical tabernacle, which are supposed to aim at perfection in obeying His commands. (Because that is righteousness, is when we obey His commands His way.)

Now to a lot of snipers in the comments section, looking to misinterpret something, and shoot up their possibility for life-giving repentance, take a break.

But if you can understand what I am saying, in general, when the main camp is not clean, the house of Ephraim’s representative Yehoshua ben Nun went outside the camp, to hang out in Moshe’s Tabernacle of Meeting, which was probably run according to the rules for the Order of Melchi-Tzedek (which takes a whole lot more self-discipline).

Later we will also talk about the Tabernacle of David, which was run according to the Order of Melchi-Tzedek, since David himself was both a king, and a priest in his own tabernacle. And we are going to see that the purpose of these extra Melchizedekian tents has to do with Yahweh’s mercy, and His compassion on those who are lost, and all messed up. (Like us.)

And we will see a whole permeating, penetrating inside-the-land-versus-outside-the-land contrast, but let us realize that both of them work together. (And it will be great when someday, Ephraim and Judah decide to work together to form the Genesis 35:11 Alliance.)

B’reisheet (Genesis) 35:11
11 Also Elohim said to him: “I am Elohim Almighty. Be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall proceed from you, and kings shall come from your body.”

But we need Judah and Levi to wake up and smell the Tanach!

And we need Ephraim to stop pulling his own leg, thinking that reading the requirements means that you already did them! Because reading and knowing what you are supposed to do is not the same thing as doing it! (Ephraim, brother, wake up!)

Yahweh says, “Ephraim, I want you to do this!
Ephraim says, “I read about it. Is that good enough?”
(Bless their hearts.)

The scary part is that as we will see, every time we break faith and must start over, it costs us big time!

History of falling backwards

Here in Parasha Terumah, our ancestors were building a tabernacle originally for the Firstfruits Priesthood (or the Priesthood of the Firstborn). Two weeks from now we will see that we defiled the Firstborn Priesthood, and we got the Levitical Priesthood and the Levitical instructions instead.

And it was like going from a Maserati to a Yugo. Now instead of talking with Elohim as a friend, face to face, now we must paint by numbers, and worship by numbers, because we did not want to be faithful.

We thought it would be more fun to cheat on our Spouse. And you know, every time you cheat, and your spouse takes you back, is there not a cost to the relationship? So, we cheat on Yahweh, and He takes us back—but the relationship is never the same.

And if you get nothing else from this parasha get this: We are coming up on our very last chance! Very soon, if you have not gotten onboard the boat, you lose. Because today is the day of salvation.

Qorintim Bet (Second Corinthians) 6:2
2 For He says: “IN AN ACCEPTABLE TIME I HAVE HEARD YOU, AND IN THE DAY OF SALVATION I HAVE HELPED YOU.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

Later we will see that in Shemuel Aleph 4:3, our ancestors dishonored Yahweh by sending the Ark out to battle without a commandment from Yahweh, and the Levitical tabernacle (which housed the Ark) was never the same again.

Shemuel Aleph (First Samuel) 4:3
3 And when the people had come into the camp, the elders of Israel said, “Why has Yahweh defeated us today before the Philistines? Let us bring the ark of the covenant of Yahweh from Shiloh to us, that when it comes among us it may save us from the hand of our enemies.”

David and the Melchizedekian Tabernacle

And we do not have time to unpack this here, but after the Ark of the Covenant was captured by the Palestinians, King David decided to bring it to him, in Jerusalem. However, the Levitical tabernacle was to remain at Gibeon.

In Shemuel Bet 6:14, King David was wearing a linen ephod. That is strictly a priestly garment.

Shemuel Bet (Second Samuel) 6:14
14 Then David danced before Yahweh with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod.

Then in verse 17, King David and all of his chosen representatives brought the Ark of Yahweh, and set it in its place in the midst of a special tabernacle (or tent) that David had erected for it.

Shemuel Bet (Second Samuel) 6:17
17 So they brought the ark of Yahweh, and set it in its place in the midst of the tabernacle that David had erected for it. Then David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before Yahweh.

Then King David (who was not a Levite) offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before Yahweh.

Shemuel Bet (Second Samuel) 6:18
18 And when David had finished offering burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Yahweh of Hosts.

How could King David wear a linen ephod, and officiate in a tabernacle, when he was not a Levite, but a Jew? And what is with King David making up a tabernacle that does not conform to the pattern that Yahweh showed Moshe on the mountain?

How come the Levitical tabernacle must be perfect, but King David can wing a Melchizedekian tabernacle?

Two roles

We will discuss it in another place, but the idea that we will see is that there are two separate roles. One role for Judah and Levi. And one role for Joseph.

Judah has the role to bring the Tabernacle or Temple model to perfection inside of Israel. Joseph (or Ephraim) has the role to extend Yahweh’s mercy, compassion, and longsuffering outside of the land. Both roles are essential. Both roles speak of different aspects of Elohim’s character.

That is why Judah and the (currently corrupted) Levitical Order was brought back to the land of Israel first, and then the Melchizedekian Order is being used to make a sweep of all the nations for anyone with a lost Abrahamic spark who wants to return to Yahweh and His people.

And that is why Joshua the son of Nun stayed in the Tent of Meeting which was outside the camp, is that Joshua comes from the tribe of Ephraim, which is from the line of Joseph–and Judah and Levi sold Joseph into slavery in Egypt (which is a type of the world).

Joseph was sent into the world, outside the land. And being of the house of Ephraim, Ephraim would also be sent out into the world, outside the land, to be used to recover those of both Houses who have been lost.

Partly it is because we have Asenath’s genetics as a result of Joseph being sold. Partly it is because King Rehoboam was cruel, and forced us away, by threatening to scourge us as his slaves (instead of treating us like his brothers).

(Judah, if you had to suffer King Rehoboam’s treatment, you would have left also.)

Just like Judah and Levi today, King Rehoboam did not think about us as brothers–only as slaves to be scourged at whim. And in the Talmud, at Tractate Sanhedrin, Noachide slaves are to be worked seven days a week, without a rest (basically until the die).

“And Reish Lakish says: A gentile [because according to Talmudic perspective, there is no Joesph, only Judah] who observed Shabbat is liable to receive the death penalty, as it is stated: “And day and night shall not cease” (Genesis 8:23), which literally means: And day and night they shall not rest.”
[Talmudic Tractate Sanhedrin 58b, Sefaria]

Of course, this is a direct and flagrant violation of Shemote 20:10, which says that slaves also should rest on the sabbath.

Shemote (Exodus) 20:10
10 But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yahweh your Elohim. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates.

(But Judah and Levi are always looking for ways to substitute the Babylonian elitist lifestyle for what Yahweh’s Torah says to do! And Judah and Levi are always looking for ways to enslave Joseph, like we saw back in B’reisheet 37:20, in Parasha Vayeshev!)

B’reisheet 37:20
20 “Come therefore, let us now kill him and cast him into some pit; and we shall say, ‘Some wild beast has devoured him.’ We shall see what will become of his dreams!”

(With brothers like Judah and Levi, who needs enemies?)

Now, you can point to Joseph’s enslavement in Egypt, and you can point to the marriage to Asenath, and you can point to King Rehoboam, and a lot of things. Maybe we are spiritual half-breeds because of what Judah and Levi did.

And yet still, no matter what else you can point to, the bottom line is that partly it is our own dumb fault, for disobeying Elohim and His Torah. Because no matter what the circumstances, we still must take personal responsibility for ourselves, and our actions, both good and bad (or we will never get better).

Bringing back the lost

As we will see, this is the point of the tabernacle that David set up, is that eventually its purpose would be to bring back those who are lost.

And for that reason, you do not have quite the same standards, because it is not exactly a righteousness tent. It is more like a mercy tent. (Which Ephraim needs.)

So, the standards of righteousness (meaning specifics) will apply to the Levitical tabernacle, whereas Yahweh’s unmerited mercy and favor are the rule of the day in David’s tent.

Just do not get lazy and think you do not have to work toward Elohim’s standards of righteousness in the Torah. And that is exactly what 99% of Ephraim thinks.

“We do not have to, because Elohim already called us! We are not chosen, but we are already called, and we think that is good enough [when it is not]!”

We will unpack all of that in the Abraham Accords video series, but if you want the answer sooner, we have a very important four-part mini-series in Nazarene Scripture Studies volume 4 about the Tabernacle of David (which we want to greatly expand in the Abraham Accords series).

And every Ephraimite needs to know about the relationship between Shemuel (or Samuel, the “Ephraimite priest”), and the anointing that he gave King David. Because it was a game changer for Ephraim!

And what we see here in Shemuel Bet 6:17 is that King David build a Melchizedekian Tabernacle inside the land of Israel, to prepare for Ephraim’s eventual return. We had not even left yet. We were still being lukewarm in Samaria, and Elohim established a means for bringing us back before we ever even left!

Shemuel Bet (Second Samuel) 6:17
17 So they brought the ark of Yahweh, and set it in its place in the midst of the tabernacle that David had erected for it. Then David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before Yahweh.

And you might say, “He is Jewish! he cannot do that!” But he could do it because it was a Melchizedekian tent, not a Levitical one.

But a funny thing. After King David’s son Solomon built the first temple, and the Tabernacle of David was probably in storage somewhere, prophesies about the Tabernacle of David started cropping up.

King David was already sleeping, and Solomon’s Levitical temple had been in operation a long time. And Ephraim was about to go into captivity in Assyria.

And then in Yeshayahu 16:5, Yahweh tells us that the day will come when a throne will be established in mercy, and the Messiah will sit on it in truth (meaning Torah), in the Tabernacle of David, judging and seeking justice, and hastening righteousness.

Yeshuayahu (Isaiah)16:5
5 In mercy the throne will be established; And One will sit on it in truth, in the tabernacle of David, Judging and seeking justice and hastening righteousness.”

‘Righteousness’ pertains to the Levitical tabernacle, because the Levitical temple is righteousness-based. Meaning, you must do what Yahweh says in the Levitical system (and not just abuse His mercy continually forever).

The Mashiach hastens Torah-obedience

But notice that it says the Messiah will “hasten” righteousness (or Torah-obedience.) And Yeshayahu 66:20-21 says that after the house of Joseph is recovered, Yahweh will take some of the Ephraimites for priests , and for Levites.

Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 66:20-21
20 “Then they shall bring all your brethren for an offering to Yahweh out of all nations, on horses and in chariots and in litters, on mules and on camels, to My set-apart mountain Jerusalem,” says Yahweh, “as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of Yahweh.
21 And I will also take some of them for priests and Levites,” says Yahweh.”

Just to say it, if you want that, then I would suggest getting busy helping people to get with the standards of the Levitical Order. Because the point is, the Tabernacle of David is not (not, not, not, not) the end goal!

We do not read about rebuilding a New Melchizedekian temple in Yehezqel chapters 40–46. We read about a restored Levitical temple, in which all Yahweh’s standards apply!

And for the comment snipers, we are not talking about the Talmudic Anti-Yeshua temple that is coming up next! We have no skin in that temple, because they are promoting Talmudic conversion, Noachide slavery, or death as Joseph’s only options.

Rather, we are talking about the fourth temple, which comes after the tribulation, and Armageddon.

But this is what Yeshua means in Mattityahu 5:17 when He says not to think that He came to abolish any part of the law of Moshe, or any part of the prophecies.

Mattityahu (Matthew) 5:17
17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.”

If you really want to get down to it, it is not that they are hyper critical under the Melchizedekian Order, because we do not have a physical temple with a blood altar right now.

It is like having a driver’s license, but you do not have a car. Have the rules of the road have been abolished just because you do not have a car? When you get a car or a motorcycle again someday, you will need to obey the rules of the road! And that is what the Torah of Moshe is, is the rules of the road.

They are, “The house rules for His house, and they change not!”

For example, Yehezqel 44:9 tells us that Yahweh Elohim requires that no foreigner who is not circumcised in his heart (meaning that he is eager to do all that he can to build Yeshua’s kingdom as part of a team family), and not circumcised in His flesh, shall enter Elohim’s sanctuary, including any foreigner who is among the children of Israel. (That is us—the returning gerim.)

Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 44:9
9 Thus says Yahweh Elohim: “No foreigner, uncircumcised in heart or uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter My sanctuary, including any foreigner who is among the children of Israel.”

The recovery operation

Yahweh has a mechanism for recovering us in the Tabernacle of David. Only, once we are recovered, now we must hasten the Levitical standards. Because why? Because Yeshayahu says, that is what Yeshua is going to want.

Yeshayahu (Isaiah)16:5
5 “In mercy the throne will be established; And One will sit on it in truth, in the tabernacle of David, Judging and seeking justice and hastening righteousness.”

Does anyone in Ephraim care what Yeshua is going to want? Or are we too busy enjoying life to focus on what our Master wants? Do our children need to go to t-ball practice to bolster their self-esteem?

And just to say it, if you (or your children perhaps) entertain any dreams at all of serving in the Renewed Levitical temple, then may I suggest that you focus on hastening all of Elohim’s standards in the Torah of Moshe?

Because the Melchizedekian Order is an outside order of mercy. The Tabernacle of David is a transitional structure (although it will have enduring evangelical value during the Millennial reign).

And we will see that the purpose of the Tabernacle of David is exactly what it says in Amos 9:11-12. And this is what Yahweh is doing, right now.

Amos 9:11
11 “On that day I will raise up The tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, And repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, And rebuild it as in the days of old; [meaning in King David’s time]

As we will see, the Tabernacle of David was an evangelical vehicle, whose purpose was to bring back the Lost 10 Tribes of Israel (meaning Ephraim or Joseph), who had become mixed with all of mankind. (And actually there are a lot of Jews with us also.) But Ephraim was to be mixed in with every tribe of the world. And every nation. Every family. And every clan. Every tongue.

And because every human being alive on planet earth has some of Abrahams or Israel’s DNA, every human being alive on planet earth has the possibility to serve a Jewish Messiah, because the house of Ephraim was scattered.

Amos 9:12
12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom, [or if you vowel point that differently, it says the remnant of Adam, meaning the rest of mankind, which also makes more sense with the next clause…] And all the Gentiles who are called by My name [meaning the Christians, or the Notzrim],” Says Yahweh who does this thing.

That is why it is called the Great Seeding, or the Great Dia-spore-a, is that we would go into the world like seed, or like spores, to grow in the earth until the day coming soon when Ephraim will mushroom back on the world scene.

It is a three or a four-phase operation. And we are just now nearing the end of phase 1, and are getting ready to move into phase 2.

And yet Yeshayahu 10:22 tells us that even though the house of Israel (or Ephraim, or Joseph) was mixed in with every family in all the earth, yet only a remnant of us will come home! And that the destruction of the 90% of us will overflow with righteousness (meaning obedience to the Torah of Moshe.) because we did not want to come back to the standards of righteousness in the written Torah.

Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 10:22
22 For though your people, O Israel, be as the sand of the sea, a remnant of them will return; the destruction decreed shall overflow with righteousness.

We received His mercy with joy, but we did not want to obey the King’s Marital Covenant.

Dwelling with Yahweh is conditional. If you want to stay with Dad, you must obey Dad’s house rules.

As it says in Yirmeyahu 7:3:

Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 7:3
3 Thus says Yahweh of Hosts, the Elohim of Israel: “Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.”

Orthodox Judah tells their people not to read Elohim’s words, so there is no possibility of amending their ways. Because the way we amend our ways is to start paying strict attention to His words. And you cannot do that if you read the Talmud, instead. And the rabbis do not want their people to know.

Excusephraim

But what is Ephraim’s excuse?? Why does Ephraim read the whole Tanach, and the whole of the Brit Chadasha, but then they are only willing to do the parts that are easy, and free?

Ephraim is good with resting and reading. And he is good at raiding the King’s fridge! But Ephraim does not feel any need to give anything back to the king! Or the need to do anything for His Son, even though His Son died for them!

And they think that because they read from Scripture, they are doing the whole of scripture! And the Great Omission is no big deal!

And so, they assume (there is that word!) that they are the remnant of 10% in Yeshayahu 10:22 that is going to come home in righteousness, even though they are ignoring the standards of righteousness!

Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 10:22
22 For though your people, O Israel, be as the sand of the sea, a remnant of them will return; the destruction decreed shall overflow with righteousness.

You know, it is embarrassing to have to say this kind of stuff in front of Judah. But this is where we are at. There is not really much sense in pulling the wool over our own eyes, is there, brothers? Because is Elohim going to be fooled by anything we do?

(There are lot of Ephraimites pulling their own legs. Last chance for romance with the King’s son!)

Haftarah: Building a temple to specifications, plus Tabernacle of David

If we understand that Elohim holds returning Ephraim to the full standards of the Levitical Torah, now let us see what Yeshua’s priesthood is about. Let us come to our Haftarah prophetic portion.

And we come to Melachim Aleph chapters 5 and 6, where King Solomon builds the first temple.

Just to mention it, I do not know who picked these portions. (“Under Moshe we built a tabernacle, and now under Solomon we are building a temple.”) It is nice to follow the story, but I am a cover-to-cover reader, because that is the only way to really know what Yahweh says. (If anyone thinks that would be important.)

So, the Torah portions are a good vehicle for the synagogue, because it brings us all back in contact with our common history as the twelve (or thirteen) tribes. But outside of the synagogue environment, cover to cover is what we recommend.

We had in one community (a long time ago now) where there were some children who grew up with the Torah portions, and they knew all the details, but they had never read most of Scripture. We would quote from the Prophets, or from Yeshua, and they did not know we were quoting Scripture. Or we would quote Shaul to them, and they would go, “Whoa! That is deep!” Because they never read it! And these were smart children who were doing well in school.

What this points out is how bad it can get if all you ever do is read the Torah portions. You will not know what is going on prophetically. You will not get the big picture. And especially in these end times, that can cost you everything.

“We do not learn Tanach in our schools because it is very deep, and things can be misinterpreted. So, they do not teach us Tanach. We learn Talmud, we learn what we call “Oral Law”. …things I was not taught in school because I was told that it is deep to understand, I for sure would not just read texts…”
[Orthodox Jews REACT to Messianic Jews Sharing ISAIAH 53, So Be It, 1:24-1:30]

Pray for this man, and for all of Judah. Because they need it. It is like the saddest and Proverbs 8 funniest video I have ever seen in my life.

“For sure we will remain willfully ignorant of Elohim’s words! For sure we will listen only to men!”

And it would be a scream if we were not looking at something like a 99% death rate for the house of Judah in the land.

(Is that why they do not want to read Elohim’s words? Is because they do not want to repent, and live?)

So, Judah and Levi are a total mess, but why in the world does Ephraim read the Tanach and the Brit Chadasha (and Enoch 1, maybe), and then looks for excuses to get out of fulfilling the standards for either one?

The Messianics say, “Torah. Torah-Torah!” But then they do not do it. And they insist, “We are Yeshua’s disciples!” But then they do not discipline themselves to do all the things Yeshua said to do. And they make so many excuses not to come to the Wedding, and not to wear the wedding garment of willful obedience.

They insist on the mercy offered in the Brit Chadasha (or the Renewed Covenant), but then they do not want to help Yeshua in anything.

They think watching videos and sending thumbs ups on social media is their contribution to the King’s kingdom. (And they think they are coming home someday?)

Why the Torah portions?

Someone might ask, “How did we end up with the Torah portion, if you suggest reading cover to cover?”

Long story short, the parasha is a good evangelical tool. When Judah came back from Babylon, he established the Torah portions as a means of at least getting people to at least hear parts of Scripture. (They did not have the printing press back then, and printed scrolls cost a lot of money.)

The torah portions at least got people in Scripture on Shabbat. And it is maybe not enough, but it was absolutely much better than nothing (which apparently is what was going on before the Torah portion schedule was instituted). And it gets the whole community to hear our history, and then they can discuss it, and reflect on it for the week, even though they did not have their own copies for personal study.

And we do not think it is a mistake that Yeshua came near the end of the second temple era, as Daniel 9:26 also tells us. (We do not think anything is random with Elohim.)

Daniel 9:26
26 “And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; and the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, and till the end of the war desolations are determined.”

And Luqa 4:16 tells us that it was Yeshua’s custom to go into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and He stood up to read in front of the whole community.

Luqa (Luke) 4:16
16 So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.

Just the fact that Yeshua was called to stand up to read tells us that He was known and respected in that synagogue. Because in Judaism, they only schedule you to read if you are respected. So, we know that Yeshua was active in His synagogue, yes?

And Qorintim Aleph 11:1 tells us that we should imitate a certain ex-Haredi Jew named Shaul (Paul) because he imitated His one-and-only Rabbi, Yeshua. (Who came to overthrow the Pharisaic Order of takhanot and maasim, and to get them to turn back to listening for Yahweh’s voice, so that they would do what Yahweh says to do, and follow the pattern that Yahweh gave to the Levite Moshe on the mountain.)

Qorintim Aleph (First Corinthians) 11:1
1 Imitate me, just as I also imitate Mashiach.

For Notzrim, Yeshua (or Mashiach Nagid of Daniel 9:25) went into the synagogues on the Sabbath day. And He strove to keep the Torah perfectly. And that is the example which we are called to emulate. Because when we discipline ourselves to do what the One like Moshe says, then we can enter His transitional vehicle (called the Melchizedekian Order), and receive mercy, so that we do not die in the great coming Ephraimite holocaust of Isaiah 10:22.

Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 10:22
22 For though your people, O Israel, be as the sand of the sea, a remnant of them will return; the destruction decreed shall overflow with righteousness.

You know, it is like Ephraim thinks that if he just reads about what he is supposed to be doing, he gets full credit for doing it…because he read about it.

Knowing is not doing!

(Reading about discipleship is the same as actual discipleship, right? And we get the same reward? No?)

Ephraim, brother. I want to see you come home alive. And right now, maybe 99+% of the Ephraimites I have met seem like they are looking for excuses to get credit without paying the cost. It is like a fiancée who wants to be taken as a wife, so she can coast, and kick back, and let her husband carry her load also.

Have you ever met women like that? (“Ew!”) Do you think a war Elohim is going to take a wife for His Son like that? That He would hook Him up with a lead weight? (With a ball and chain?)

We are not given to make windows into men’s souls. But we are given to inspect the fruit. And what fruit do we see? Do we see a bunch of Ephraimites clamoring to do whatever Yeshua says to do? Or do we see the house of Excusephraim, seeking excuses to get out of helping her Husband?

The funny thing about excuses is that, when you want an excuse, any excuse will do. But do we think we are smarter than Yahweh?

Are we going to scam Yahweh, by pretending to help Him bring the human race back into subjection and full Torah obedience through love?

In Hoshea 11:7 Yahweh laments that His people Ephraim are bent on backsliding from Him. Though Ephraim calls to the Most High, none at all exalt Him.

Hoshea (Hosea) 11:7
7 “My people are bent on backsliding from Me. Though they call to the Most High, None at all exalt Him.”

(This is our book, brothers! We are reading about us!)

Hoshea (Hosea) 13:12-13
12 “The iniquity [or the fossilized sins] of Ephraim is bound up. His sin is stored up.
13 The sorrows of a woman in childbirth shall come upon him. He is an unwise son, For he should not stay long where children are born.””

Mature faith

Ephraim is an unwise son, because why? Because he should not stay too long where children are born. Meaning you are not supposed to hang out in the birth canal, where Ephraim loves to hang out!

When you just get born as a brand-new baby, someone else has to feed you, and someone else has to clothe you, and someone else has to clean up after your mess, yes? And you must drink milk all the time, because that is all you can handle. And then later you must have someone spoon feeding you, right?

(You are how old in the faith, and still, you need spoon feeding?)

And then as you get older, you learn to help around the home. Because by the time you are an adult, you should be prepared to take care of other people. (Concept!) You should be prepared to contribute to your community and to your world.

Because by the time the dust settles, that is still what Elohim has always wanted, is a single family of man who submits to Him, and takes care of themselves and each other, so that together they can hear His voice, and do what He says, and tend His planet.

And we as His created gardeners are still giving Him the runaround on this. And even His people Judah and Ephraim (who were supposed to be part of the solution) are still giving Him the runaround!

And Elohim sent His only manifested Son to die, to bring us all back into right alignment with Him. But there are performance standards for bridehood!

And you say, “Ohhhhh……. standards. No, if there are standards, then we are not sure. Esav does not like standards. (I mean, I mean, I mean, Ephraim.)”

Or are we children of Judah and Levi, who want the inheritance, but who insist on replacing the written Torah that Elohim gave to Israel with the Johnny-come-lately Talmud?

Or are we bond servants of the house of Ephraim, who want the marriage, but not if it involves actually doing the Great Commission of Mattityahu 28?

Mattityahu (Matthew) 28:20
20 “teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amein.

And not if it involves actually unifying His body by having all of the ministers operate together on a single foundation of apostles and prophets, like it says in Ephesim 2:20?

Ephesim (Ephesians) 2:20
20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Yeshua Mashiach Himself being the chief cornerstone,

No, if there are standards, or principles, or precepts, or if it hastens the full written Torah, then we do not want it, do we?

By our fruits He shall know who is who. Brother, what are your fruits?? (Be honest with yourself.)

You can have a little wine for the sake of your stomach, but think soberly. Do not be a drunkard of Ephraim. Do you think you are a disciple of Yeshua for real? And you are not just some poser in camouflage?

Let us read Yeshua’s parting prayer for His disciples. And we are not talking about the 4000, or the 5000, or the multitudes, or the throngs, or the crowds who all came and went. We are talking about the people Yeshua spent time with. We are talking about the few hand-picked people He wants to spend eternity with.

(And does Ephraim get that we do not automatically meet this standard, just because we have read it? And that we must be wise virgins who apply it to ourselves, and analyze ourselves, to see where we come up short, and can do better?)

Brit Chadasha: Keep Yeshua’s Commandments

Yochanan (John) 15:1-2a
1 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.
2a Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away;”

[Think about that. Pray about that.]

Yochanan (John) 15:2b
2b “And every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.”

[And that is not fun, but it is necessary if we want to live.]

Yochanan (John) 15:4
4 “Abide in Me, and I in you. As a branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.”

[And we are talking about remaining in His Spirit, such that we bear fruits worthy of Yeshua’s Spirit. (Are we?)]

Yochanan (John) 15:5-6
5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me [spiritually], and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing [that pleases Me or My Father].”

6 “If anyone does not abide in Me [and we are talking about handing over control of the steering wheel and the keys], he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.”

[And to me, this speaks of the Tribulation.]

Yochanan (John) 15:7
7 “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.”

[And that does not mean prosperity gospel. And that does not mean, “name it, and claim it!” It means, if we hand the Spirit the steering wheel and the keys, we will let the Spirit lead us in prayer, and in everything. And the Spirit will pray for what Elohim wants, and then He will direct us to do His will. And then we get the blessings for being the ones to submit to Him in that. (And people do not understand how huge that is!)]

Yochanan (John) 15:8
8 “By this My Father is glorified, that you submit to the Spirit, so that you shall bear much fruit;”

[Because that is how you will be My disciples, is by handing My Spirit the steering wheel and the keys, and letting her drive.]

Yochanan (John) 15:9
9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; [and I want you to] abide in My [disciplined] love.”

[Now here is the verse everyone ignores! Pay close attention to the “If”.]

Yochanan (John) 15:10
10 “If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments, and abide in His love.”

And Yeshua kept all His Father’s commandments in the written Torah.

Preparing for Ephraim’s return

We cannot do temple sacrifices right now, because there is no cleansed temple, and no cleansed Levitical Order (and the next temple and the next rabbinical temple priesthood is going to be according to Talmud). So, for right now, there is uncleanness in the camp in the land.

But we will see that we are given a tent that is outside the land, to hold us over in the meantime, and we are supposed to hasten the performance of the standards in the Levitical Torah, to prepare for our return in Yeshayahu 66:20.

Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 66:20
20 “Then they shall bring all your brethren for an offering to Yahweh out of all nations, on horses and in chariots and in litters, on mules and on camels, to My set-apart mountain Jerusalem,” says Yahweh, “as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of Yahweh.”

So, are we keeping all of Yeshua’s Melchizedekian commandments, so that we might abide in His love? Or are we angling for excuses to get out of keeping His Melchizedekian commandments?

Brothers, are we organizing according to the Fivefold Ministry gifts of Ephesians 4:11? Do we realize that Yeshua Himself commanded that ordering? Or do we think we are smarter than Yeshua?

Ephesim (Ephesians) 4:11
11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,

Are we really doing what verse 15 says, by speaking the full Biblical truth in love for Elohim and love for our brothers, who need to be held accountable, so that they might be deemed worthy of eternal life?

Ephesim (Ephesians) 4:15
15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Mashiach—

Are we speaking the truth in love both in the congregation, and between each other, so that we may grow up spiritually into Him who is the head—Messiah Yeshua?

What about verse 16? Are we as Yeshua’s body joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part of the body does its share, causing true growth of Yeshua’s body for the edifying (or the upbuilding) of itself in love?

Ephesim (Ephesians) 4:16
16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

Or are we faking it, because we are not wise proverbs 31 virgins?

The truth is that we are lazy brides who do not really care if our Husband Yeshua ever really gets the kingdom that His Father sent Him to get?

Are we part of the 99%, laying our minas up in a handkerchief?

Mattityahu (Matthew) 25:25
25 “And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.”

Or are we part of the less than 1% who wants to discipline ourselves to help Yeshua get what His father sent Him to get?

Which fruit?

You get to Yochanan 15:12, and you get some typical Ephrebellious comments, like, “See! Yeshua says we do not have to do anything! We only have to love each other.”

Yochanan (John) 15:12
12 “This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.”

[Do we realize that the true meaning is to sacrifice ourselves unto the death to bring people back to the full written Torah? Are you are doing this?]

If you are really doing that, then you are following the precept. And if you are not doing that, then you are looking for excuses to commit slow suicide.

“Cause of death: suicide by lack of love for Yeshua.”

Yochanan (John) 15:13
13 “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”

[Not that Yeshua wants us to die as He did, but that He wants us all to live for Him, to build His literal Messianic kingdom.]

As we show in all our studies, that is our job! First, we must work this through with Judah, so that together we can bring in the remnant of Ishmael.

And that cannot happen with people spending their time and their money at the slip-and-slide Wild Waves Water Park. When you take your family to the beach or to the mountains, you do not do anything to help further Yeshua’s cause. (Sukkot is obviously different.)

Yochanan (John) 15:14
14 “You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.”

[Does that make us His enemies if we only pretend to do whatever He commands us? Think about that.]

You will see these people in the comments. Excusephraim says, “See! We only need to love each other! We no longer need to do anything—yay!”

And they forget completely about Mattityahu 5:17-20, and all the many other passages where Yeshua tells us that if we do not keep the Levitical Torah better than the Karaites and the Orthodox, we will by no means enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Mattityahu (Matthew) 5:20
20 “For I say to you, that unless your righteousness [Torah keeping] exceeds the righteousness [Torah keeping] of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.”

And then they will typically misquote Shaul (Paul), to justify doing away with the Words of Elohim. (Just like Esav does.) And Ephrebellion just wants all the blessings, with no work.

Ephrebellion has an eye problem. He cannot see doing the minimums for Elohim.

But a few of us will want to do what Yeshua says. And Yeshua’s program is not easy, but we know that about 10% (or about a tithe of His people) will eventually want to make good. About a tithe of us will eventually decide that eternal life with Yeshua is worth the cost! And Yeshua prayed for us!

Yeshua’s prayer for us

Yochanan (John) 17:20-21
20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word,
21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.”

[Meaning we must be one so that the world might believe.]

Yochanan (John) 17:22-23
22 “And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:
23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.”

He is talking about unity on the single foundation of apostles and prophets that we see commanded in places like Ephesim 2:20.

Ephesim (Ephesians) 2:20
20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Yeshua Mashiach Himself being the chief cornerstone,

And then this single foundation was lived out in places like Acts 15:6 with the so-called Jerusalem Council (or the Jerusalem Beit Din Gadol).

Ma’asei (Acts) 15:6
6 Now the apostles and elders came together to consider this matter.

And also, in places like Ma’asei 21:18, where there had to be a single right-ruling for the body, so that the body could stay united. So that the body builds together, rather than fragments, brothers.

Ma’asei (Acts) 21:18
18 On the following day Paul went in with us to James, and all the elders were present.

And this is the point of the fivefold ministry of Ephesim 4:11, because this is how we grow together, rather than grow apart.

Ephesim (Ephesians) 4:11
11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,

The only problem is that to do it Yeshua’s way costs time, and money. It demands that we truly place Elohim first. And these are hard rules, but that is what it takes if we are to unify His body in the way that He said, so as to do everything according to the pattern that Yeshua established for His priesthood, and His body.

Does anyone else want in? Or we do not believe Yeshua?

Ephesim 4:13 says we are supposed to operate as a unified fivefold body operating on a single foundation of apostles and prophets until we all come to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the son of Elohim—and until we become spiritually perfected men who measure up to the stature of the fullness of Messiah. Is that not what Yeshua is praying for?

Ephesim (Ephesians) 4:13
13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of Elohim, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Mashiach;

Earlier, in Yochanan 14:15, Yeshua says, “If you love me, then keep my commandments.”

Yochanan (John) 14:15
15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”

So, if we use equal weights and measures, can we turn that around?

“If you keep my commandments, then you love me?”

If a = b, then b = a?

Not, “I love Yeshua because I get eternal life, and I never have to do anything!” But rather, “I love my Husband Yeshua for saving me, and that is why I want to do all that I can for Him!”

Love = obedience?
Obedience = love?

Or are we woke now?

If you are based in the Tanach, and in the Brit Chadasha, and you want to keep Yeshua’s commandments like it says in verse 10, so that you might be one with Him and His body, there is only one organization I know of that is even trying to do that, according to all that the Scriptures say.

Yochanan (John) 15:10
10 “If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments, and therefore I abide in His love.”

And it is not an easy walk, praise Yah! It is a narrow and afflicted path. And it is expensive. It takes both time and money, but it leads to life. And there are many other pathways that are much easier, that lead to death.

You could go church shopping for one of the 90% death ministries, and you could find one like that. And you do not have to do anything in those dumb greedy-dog assemblies, if you do not want.

Brothers, we all need to choose each day whom we will serve. Will we humble ourselves, as created beings, and serve Yeshua? Will He do all that we can to help Him get the kingdom His Father sent Him to get? Or will we look for excuses?

Will we continue in rebellion against our Maker? The choice is for each one of us.

Shabbat shalom.
