Welcome to NI’s midrash on Parasha Mattot Massei. “Parasha Mattot Massei 5785 (2024)” explains: the requirment to uphold our vows, oaths, and promises, (as well as taking care of the words we speak) and how Kol Nidre (recited during the Jewish Yum Kippur) violates the written Torah of Moshe by excusing the breaking of all vows.

Parasha Matto Massei also shows how both Israel and Judah are guilty of make Yahweh’s name desolate in violation of the (so-referred to as) third commandment, the  idolatry found in both houses historically and today, and the mission to expose false doctrine, to bring both houses to repentance before Yahweh Elohim, and reunify the two houses upon the the Tanakh (the written Torah of Moshe and the Prophets).

Addressing questions

Comment #1 of the week:
“Shabbat shalom 🎉❤ Please dont change anything in the way you Teache!! The way you teach is unique and in depth and by comparing or showing what the Talmud and other are wrong according to thora!!! That give a better understanding of what ywhy says and what he means!!!! Shalom alejem.”

[Previous] question of the week:
“Can you please please talk about something else than battling with them about the Talmud, what they do, what they say? And concentrate on teaching the Word? Please.”

Comment #2 of the week:
“Yes please stop you spend too much time with politics and we used to enjoy the torah teachings.”

NI response [Nasi’s assistant]:
“Shalom, sorry, I am not sure we have met before. Should I address you as [name withheld]? And could I please ask you to please clarify your comment?

“I hope you will give my answer genuine consideration. It may be a little direct, but as this is a common issue in Ephraim, and [with your] public comment, there is a need to clarify the mission.

“From our side, it sounds like you are demanding NI to stop obeying Yahweh by implementing what He speaks for His people to do in the Scriptures. And to stop listening to Him, and to redirect the mission toward what you enjoy more. I think that maybe that is not the message you mean to portray, but that is what it seems like from our end.

“Because by saying that NI spends too much time speaking on and implementing the things that He speaks of in Scripture, and that you would much rather we [give] His people an enjoyable study, it means [you want us] to allow His people to continue the cycle of only learning about what they are supposed to do. While not implementing anything

“We apologize, but we do not understand what you are asking or how your demand upon NI helps build the kingdom Yahweh wantsAs these things we speak on are the things spoken in Scripture, which we are called to implement in order to give Yahweh what “He wants”. (Contrary to what many Ephraimites practice, it is about what Yahweh wants, and not about enjoying ourselves, or placing ourselves on the throne.)”

“Shalom, I hope this was helpful.”

“Since a nine-year-old boy is fit to engage in intercourse, he also imparts ritual impurity as one who experienced ziva. Ravina said: Therefore, with regard to a female gentile child who is three years and one day old, since she is fit to engage in intercourse at that age, she also imparts impurity as one who experienced ziva.”

Sefaria: Talmud Tractate Ketubot 11b
“Rava said that this is what the Mishna is saying: An adult man who engaged in intercourse with a minor girl less than three years old has done nothing, as intercourse with a girl less than three years old is tantamount to poking a finger into the eye.”

Sefaria: Talmud Tractate Sanhedrin 69b
“The Gemara refutes this proof: From where do you prove this? Perhaps both Ahithophel and his son Eliam fathered children when they were each nine years old, and Bathsheba gave birth to Solomon when she was six, because a woman is stronger and can conceive at an earlier age

Sefaria: Talmud Tractate Sanhedrin 69b
“Know that this is true that women conceive at an earlier age, as Bathsheba had already given birth to a child from David before giving birth to Solomon (see II Samuel 11:27). Therefore, no proof can be derived from here.

Sefaria: Talmud Tractate Sanhedrin 69b
“The Sages taught in a baraita: If a woman was acting lewdly with her minor son and he performed the initial stage of intercourse with her, Beit Shammai say that he has thereby disqualified her from marrying into the priesthood. Wikipedia: Names of God: Adonai: “The Lords”
אֲדֹנָי ăḏōnāy, lit. transl. My Lords, pluralis majestatis taken as singular) is the possessive form of adon (‘Lord’)…. As with Elohim, Adonai’s grammatical form is usually explained as a plural of majesty. In the Hebrew Bible, the word is nearly always used to refer to God…

Wikipedia: Names of God: Adonai: “The Lords”
“…As pronunciation of the Tetragrammaton came to be avoided in the Hellenistic period, Jews may have begun to drop the Tetragrammaton when presented alongside Adonai and subsequently to expand it to cover for the Tetragrammaton in the forms of spoken prayer and written scripture.”

Wikipedia: Names of God: Adonai: “The Lords”
“Owing to the expansion of chumra (the idea of “building a fence around the Torah“), the word Adonai itself has come to be too holy to say for Orthodox Jews outside of prayer, leading to its replacement by HaShem (‘The Name’).”

Wikipedia: Names of God: Adonai: “The Lords”
“The singular forms adon and adoni (‘my lord’) are used in the Hebrew Bible as royaltitles,[34][35] as in the First Book of Samuel,[36] and for distinguished persons.”

Shemuel Aleph (1 Samuel) 29:8

“The final syllable of Adonai uses the vowel kamatz, rather than patach which would be expected from the Hebrew for ‘my lord(s)’. Professor Yoel Elitzur explains this as a normal transformation when a Hebrew word becomes a name, giving as other examples Nathan, Yitzchak, and Yigal.[39]”

Wikipedia: Names of God: Adonai: “The Lords”
“As Adonai became the most common reverent substitute for the Tetragrammaton, it too became considered un-erasable due to its holiness. As such, most prayer books avoid spelling out the word Adonai, and instead write two yodhs יְיָ in its place.[40]”

Shemote (Exodus) 20:7
7  “You shall not take the name of Yahweh your Elohim in vain, for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

The Phoenicians used it as a title of Tammuz (the origin of the Greek Adonis).

Wikipedia: Adonis: “Lord”
The Greeks considered Adonis’s cult to be of Near Eastern origin. Adonis’s name comes from a Canaanite word meaning lord and most modern scholars consider the story of Aphrodite and Adonis to be derived from a Levantine version of the earlier Mesopotamian myth of Inanna (Ishtar) and Dumuzid (Tammuz).

19  speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to Yahweh,
20  giving thanks always for all things to Elohim the Father in the name of our AdonYeshua HaMashiach,
21  submitting to one another in the fear of Elohim.

Ephesim (Ephesians) 5:22-23
22  Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to Yahweh.
23  For the husband is head of the wife, as also Mashiach is head of the assembly; and He is the Savior of the body.
24  Therefore, just as the assembly is subject to Mashiach, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.

Covering in the Kingdom, fivefold ministry, foundation of apostles and prophets, Torah Order, Nazarene Israel

Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 37:16-17
16  “As for you, son of man, take a stick for yourself and write on it: ‘For Judah and for the children of Israel, his companions.’ Then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the houseof Israel, his companions.’
17  “Then join them one to another for yourself into one stick, and they will become one in your hand.”

The kingdom, Yeshua HaMashaich, biblical leadership, foundation of apostles and prophets, singal unified body, original faith, Amos 3, fragmentation, The Great Commission, biblical structure

Ephesim (Ephesians) 5:25-26
25  Husbands, love your wives, just as Mashiach also loved the assembly and gave Himself for her,
26  that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word…

Ephesim (Ephesians) 5:27-28
27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious assembly, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be set-apart and without blemish.
28  So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.

Ephesim (Ephesians) 5:32-33
32  This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Mashiach and the assembly.
33  Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

Ephesim (Ephesians) 6:10-11
10  Finally, my brethren, be strong in Yahwehand in the power of His might.
11  Put on the whole armor of Elohim, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Ephesim (Ephesians) 6:12-13
12  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
13  Therefore take up the whole armor of Elohim, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, tostand.

Ephesim (Ephesians) 6:14-16
14  Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
15  and having shod your feet with the preparation of the good news of peace;
16  above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

Ephesim (Ephesians) 6:17-18
17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of Elohim;
18  praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints

Ephesim (Ephesians) 6:24
24  Favor be with all those who love our Adon Yeshua Mashiach in sincerity. Amein.

Yochanan (John) 14:15
15  “If you love Me, keep My commandments.

Mattityahu (Matthew) 7:24-25
24  “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
25  and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

Mattityahu (Matthew) 7:26-27
26  “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:
27  “and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”
