The following text is a summation of the video dialogue.
Parasha Bechukotai explains about how idolatry and forsaking Yahweh’s written Torah led to the house of Joseph (Ephraim, or the northern house of Israel (and those of Judah dwelling with him)) going into the Assyrian diaspora, as well as Ephraim’s prophesied return.
In the Torah portion, we will see the consequenses of adding, taking away, or changing the commandments of Yahweh. In the Haftarah portion we will see Elohim’s goodness and mercy toward Ephraim, to bring the remnant back home. And in the Brit Chadasha portion we will examine how the written Torah commands us to keep Shabbat versus the fence laws instituted by the rabbinical order, and the problem with adding manmade laws to Elohim’s law.

Disobedience to the written Torah

Yahweh’s mercy
And how if His people repent and humble themselves, then Elohim will remember His Covenant with His people, and be merciful unto them.

Haftarah portion: Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah)16-17
Babylonian exile and Assyrian Diaspora
In this week’s Haftarah portion we take a look at the punishment of the Babylonian exile upon the house of Judah, and the punishment of the Assyrian Diaspora upon the house of Joseph (Ephraim, the northern house of Israel), as prophesied by the prophet Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah).
Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 16:1-4
1 The word of Yahweh also came to me, saying,
2 “You shall not take a wife, nor shall you have sons or daughters in this place.”
3 “For thus says Yahweh concerning the sons and daughters who are born in this place, and concerning their mothers who bore them and their fathers who begot them in this land:”
4 “They shall die gruesome deaths; they shall not be lamented nor shall they be buried, but they shall be like refuse on the face of the earth. They shall be consumed by the sword and by famine, and their corpses shall be meat for the birds of heaven and for the beasts of the earth.”
Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 16:10-13
10 “And it shall be, when you show this people all these words, and they say to you, ‘Why has Yahweh pronounced all this great disaster against us? Or what is our iniquity? Or what is our sin that we have committed against Yahweh our Elohim?’

Zaphnath-Paaneah: “the one who reveals secrets”
We explain how the name given to Joseph (Zaphnath-Paaneah) means “the one who reveals secrets”, and the relationship with the ‘land of the north’.

Wikipedia: Tzaphnath-Paaneah Rashi (11th–12th century CE) in his commentary on the Torah gives the meaning “explainer of hidden things”. Nachmanides (13th century) gives “explainer of secrets“, while Bahya ben Asher (13th–14th century) gives “the one who reveals secrets”…
…The reason for these translations is that the feminine noun (צָפְנַת Ṣāp̄naṯ) refers to something hidden/secret in Hebrew, deriving from the root (צפן ṣ-p-n), meaning “to hide, conceal“; while (פַּעְנֵחַ Paʿnēaḥ) is a verb deriving from the root (פענח p-ʿ-n-ḥ), meaning “to discover, decipher, decode“. Adding fence laws

The Shabbat Yahweh wants

About the term ‘cross’
Many people have an issue with using the term ‘cross’. We briefly explain that while the ‘cross’ object has pagan background, it was nevertheless an instrument of death used in the Roman empire, and that it does not seem problematic that Rome would use a symbol of Tammuz or another pagan symbol for punishment purposes.
