Parasha Shelach

Shlach, Shelach, Sh'lah, Shlach Lecha, or Sh'lah L'kha (שְׁלַח‎ or שְׁלַח-לְךָ‎—Hebrew for “send,” “send to you,” or “send for yourself”).

Parasha Shelach, in Numbers, tells the story of the twelve spies sent to scout the Promised Land. While Joshua and Caleb express confidence, the majority convey fear, causing panic among the Israelites. Elohim responds with a decree that the generation of the spies will not enter the land.
