The following notes are a summation of the video dialogue.
Our Parasha Beha’alotcha 5785 (2024) midrash reiterates the need: to forsake Mystery-Babylonian-Esavite replacement doctrines that seek to force Elohim’s kingdom by pushing man-made agendas, and build alternate kingdoms contrary to Elohim’s Halacha. Examples include the first-century Zealot movement and today’s Zionism, Christian Zionist movement, and Esavite agendas.
It also explains how it is necessary to build Yeshua’s kingdom upon Elohim’s Foundation of Apostles and Prophets, and to submit to Yeshua’s Spirit. And how no kingdom built with another Spirit is acceptable before Elohim.
Other topics in this parasha midrash include the second Pesach, the complaining of the Israelites at Taberah, Aharon’s and Miriam’s punishment for speaking against Yahweh’s servant Moshe, and the Matthew 18 Process. The main theme throughout this study is the need to submit to the Spirit, to consider carefully how Elohim records our words and actions, and to understand that Elohim’s kingdom will be built ‘by His Spirit’, and not by any other spirit or any other agenda.
Question of the week #1:
This week’s study begins by answering a question from a viewer about the name YHWH.
“Why do they say yhwh is the ancient god of the caannantes whom the ancient Israelites took accepted him and mandated their children to be tortured by fire as a worship to him but later changed his name to molech ?? There are ancient manuscripts of this.”
We explain the need to take doctrine from the body of Yeshua only, and to avoid outside, worldly sources that have worldly agendas in rebellion against Yahweh, including some ancient manuscript that are not inspired Scripture. For example, The Gnosti Gospels and the Talmud are ancient manuscript, but are not the inspired word of Yahweh.
Sefaria: Talmud Tractate Avodah Zarah 37a
“Since a nine-year-old boy is fit to engage in [sexual] intercourse, he also imparts ritual impurity as one who experienced ziva. Ravina said: Therefore, with regard to a female gentile child who is three years and one day old, since she is fit to engage in intercourse at that age, she also imparts impurity as one who experienced ziva.”
We explain the history of the two houses, and how the Scriptural history shows a mixed worship of Yahweh and of pagan elohim. For example, we see that king Yaravam (Jeroboam) “drove Israel from following Yahweh, and made them to commit a great sin”. And that this is the reason the children of the northern house of Israel were carried away into Assyria.
Melachim Aleph (1 Kings) 12:28
28 Therefore the king asked advice, made two calves of gold, and said to the people, “It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem. Here are your elohim, O Israel, which brought you up from the land of Egypt!”Melachim Bet (2 Kings) 17:21-23
21 For He tore Israel from the house of David, and they made Yaravam the son of Nebat king. Then Yaravam drove Israel from following Yahweh, and made them commit a great sin.
22 For the children of Israel walked in all the sins of Jeroboam which he did; they did not depart from them…
23 until Yahweh removed Israel out of His sight, as He had said by all His servants the prophets. So Israel was carried away from their own land to Assyria, as it is to this day…
We explain that after the Assyrian diaspora, the king of Assyria then placed people from Babylon, Cuthah, Ava, Hamath, and Sepharvaim in the cities of Samaria where the children of Israel once were, and Samaria was filled with people who did not know or fear Yahweh. And Yahweh sent lions which killed some of the people, so the king of Assyria sent for a priests who served under king Jeroboam. Meaning, a priest who was serving during the time that Israel was not obeying Yahweh.
Melachim Bet (2 Kings) 17:24-27
24 Then the king of Assyria brought people from Babylon, Cuthah, Ava, Hamath, and from Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel; and they took possession of Samaria and dwelt in its cities.
25 And it was so, at the beginning of their dwelling there, that they did not fear Yahweh; therefore Yahweh sent lions among them, which killed some of them.
26 So they spoke to the king of Assyria, saying, “The nations whom you have removed and placed in the cities of Samaria do not know the rituals of the Elohim of the land; therefore He has sent lions among them, and indeed, they are killing them because they do not know the rituals of the Elohim of the land.”
27 Then the king of Assyria commanded, saying, “Send there one of the priests whom you brought from there; let him go and dwell there, and let him teach them the rituals of the Elohim of the land.”
This priest came and taught the people of the land (those from from Babylon, Cuthah, Ava, Hamath, and Sepharvaim) how to worship Yahweh Elohim of the land of Samaria, according to how Israel was worshipping Yahweh during the time of sin and disobedience. And we see the mixed worship that takes place, and the setting up of idols and high places.
Melachim Bet (2 Kings) 17:28-35
28 Then one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and dwelt in Bethel, and taught them how they should fear Yahweh.
29 However every nation continued to make elohim of its own, and put them in the shrines on the high places which the Samaritans had made, every nation in the cities where they dwelt.
30 The men of Babylon made Succoth Benoth, the men of Cuth made Nergal, the men of Hamath made Ashima,
31 and the Avites made Nibhaz and Tartak; and the Sepharvites burned their children in fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech, the elohim of Sepharvaim.
32 So they feared Yahweh, and from every class they appointed for themselves priests of the high places, who sacrificed for them in the shrines of the high places.
33 They feared Yahweh, yet served their own elohim—according to the rituals of
the nations from among whom they were carried away.
34 To this day they continue practicing the former rituals; they do NOT fear Yahweh, NOR do they follow their statutes OR their ordinances, OR the Torah and commandment which Yahweh had commanded the children of Jacob, whom He named Israel…
35 with whom Yahweh had made a covenant and charged them, saying: “You shall NOT fear other gods, NOR bow down to them NOR serve them NOR sacrifice to them….”
Notice also, Rehavam the son of Shelomoh (Rehaboam, son of Solomon) had an Ammonitess mother (Naamah). And Judah also did evil in the sight of Yahweh.
Melachim Aleph (1 Kings) 14:21-24
21 And Rehavam the son of Shelomoh reigned in Judah. Rehavam was forty-one years old when he became king. He reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which Yahweh had chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, to put His name there. His mother’s name was Naamah, an Ammonitess….
22 Now Judah did evil in the sight of Yahweh, and they provoked Him to jealousy with their sins which they committed, more than all that their fathers had done.
23 For they also built for themselves high places, sacred pillars, and wooden images on every high hill and under every green tree.
24 And there were also perverted persons in the land. They did according to all the abominations of the nations which Yahweh had cast out before the children of Israel.Strong’s Concordance H6945
קָדֵשׁ
qâdêsh kaw-dashe’
From H6942; a (quasi) sacred person, that is, (technically) a (male) devotee (by prostitution) to licentious idolatry: – sodomite, unclean.
Back to our first question of the week.
“Why do they say yhwh is the ancient god of the caannantes whom the ancient Israelites took accepted him and mandated their children to be tortured by fire as a worship to him but later changed his name to molech ?? There are ancient manuscripts of this.”
The viewer does not list what resources he/she is referring to. However, if we take a look at the following Papyrus Amherst manuscripts, we see that syncretism (or mixing/adulterating worship), took place, which agrees with what Scripture records as having taken place.
This is comparable with the same syncretism movement we see today in the World Interfaith and one-world religion agendas.
We also see this syncretism in the Oke Tude anthem. (We hope to cover this topic more fully in future studies.)
We continue to see syncretism, where the people of the land combined worshhip of the Elohim of Israel (Yahweh Elohim) with pagan deities.
While these ancient manuscript are not Yahweh’s word or inspired Scripture, the historical evidence of syncretism aligns with Scriptural records.
Another example of syncretism is the doctrine of “Christian Roots” taught in Messianism. Christian Roots doctrine is an unscriptural, Esavite replacement theology that replaces the true doctrine of Hebrew Roots (or Israelite Roots, Josesphite Roots, etc, as described in Scripture).
There are many resources and different teachings that exist. And some of those teachings may sound good. This is why NI teaches that drinking from all fountains is dangerous, and that non-scriptural fountains can give poisionous teachings. And that we must compare all doctrine to what Yahweh’s word says.
TimaTheus Bet (2 Timothy) 3:16-17
16 All Scripture that is given by inspiration of Elohim, is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
17 that the man of Elohim may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.Iyov (Job) 2:9
9 Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse Elohim and die!”
Its also important to understand the difference between inpired Scripture and non-inspired Scripture. ot everything recorded in Scripture is inspired. Every word of Yahweh spoken is inspired Scripture (whether by His prophets, etc.) Non-inspired Scripture includes historical records which are also profitable for reproof and guidance. For example, records of Job’s wife advising her husband to ‘curse Elohim and die’ are clearly not inspired instructions from Yahweh. However, non-Scriptural records can still provide important lesson for us. For more on this topic, please click on “About Inspiration and Scripture”.
Also, in our study on Colossians 2:16-17 and Prophecy, we explain the importance of taking doctrine from the body of Yeshua, and not from outside sources (which almost always have a different agenda and spirit). for more about Colossians 2:16-17 and Prophecy”, and how this passage is commmonly misquoted in the Church, please click the link above.

Question of the week #2: [Codename: Spirit of Esav]
Next, we take a look at a specific correspondence NI received from a person seeking to establish his own version of the kingdom without following Yahweh’s Halacha. After several attempts to explain NI’s position and standards to this brother, the Esavite spirit seems to be preventing this brother from understanding. And the reason we are addressing this is because, this is a very common error in Ephraim, and something that requires fixing before the stick of Ephraim can reunite. And we pray that this brother will repent.
Greetings zakenim Yisrael (elders of Yisrael),
Well, the times have changed a bit since our call about 5 years ago. Ephraim still isn’t a nation – in fact, we have made virtually ZERO progress towards this end….or have we? Perhaps a little progress has been made towards this prophesied end.?. (Ezek. 37:22).”
First, his letter mentions having possibly made progress with Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 37:22, which speaks about the reunification of the two houses as one nation, never again divided. (This prophecy has not happened and is not prophecied to happen until after the stick of Ephraim comes together. Which also, has not yet happened, and will not happen as long as Ephraim remains in Esav and Mystry Babylonian doctrines.)
Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 37:22
22 “…and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them all; they shall no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again.”
After many attempt to explain to this brother why his approach is wrong, the Esavite spirit continues to attempt to establish Yahweh’s kingdom man’s way rather than Yahweh’s way.
“Our last attempts (mine and others over the past 10 years or so) were not successful —all of them—and so hopefully we have learned from these past pitfalls. But the key is not to give up. We know the prophesies are true concerning this matter and so we have to prayerfully continue to work towards those hallmark fulfillments which are destined to come! I know that personally, the reason why my previous attempts have failed is because my approach was a little wrong (hopefully I can explain why on the call).
“Now I would like to try again…and I would like to schedule a conference call about this. Why? Because I have corrected my approach and I have a better plan.”
This Esavite plan is to be more inclusive (syncretism), to improvise and try something else that is not Yahweh’s Halacha, and to create an Esavite-Church-body of all different doctrines that do not agree together. The plan is a “more workable” plan (aka broader, easier way).
“What kind of plan? A plan to physically get Ephraim (the sons of Yoseph > Nazarene Israel) into reconstituted nationhood – a literal Nazarene Israelite Messianic Nation. A plan that is different than before; improvised; more practical; more workable; more inclusive.
The problem is that the Esavite Spirit refuses to do things according to Yahweh’s instructions, and this particular person knows understands little about prophecy, but seeks to force Elohim’s kingdom into existance based upon Esavite doctrines.
“This is a personal invite ONLY. If there are other MEN elders of Israel whom you think would be highly interested in this, and who believe in Yeshua and are WELL SEASONED in the Torah and the Two Houses of Israel, then you may include them.
This letter hardly mentions anything about Scripture. (The only place he mentions Scripture is with a false understanding of the Ezekiel 37:22 prophecy.) We also read that he lists steps that Ephraim ‘can take’ and steps Ephraim ‘needs to take’ in two separate categories. When in reality, there is only one way to establish Yahweh’s kingdom, which is to follow His instructions without compromise.
“Our discussion will entail what steps we can take and need to take in order to form the nation of Ephraim.”
The Esavite spirit admits that all attemps to reunite the body of Ephraim have failed without realizing that his very attempts to do things in contradition to Elohim’s Halacha, and his plans for inclusion, syncretism, and a broada easy path is exactly what prevents the stick of Ephraim from coming together on the one true Halacha.
“…[The Spirit of Esav and] Ephraim wonders why he cannot get the stick to form by practicing doctrines that are not Yahweh’s Halacha—and that he thinks he can force a stick together by continuing to do things his own way, which is exactly what is preventing progress. …this is the exact same ideology [approach] practiced in Zionism, the Christian Zionist movement, and with the zealots in the first century. In all of these movements, both houses try to force the kingdom their own way rather than submitting to Yahweh’s way.”
[Comments by Norman’s assistant, Rivkah]
Previously, Spirit of Esav also wrote to say:
- He doesn’t believe in NI doctrine.
- he is willing to work with NI if we give him a paid job.
We’ve answered this person many times explaining:
- We cannot unite with any doctrine other than the one doctrine Yeshua practiced (Amos 3). And that if he’d like to email us about what parts of the doctrine he disagrees with based upon Scripture, we welcome his email.
- “We also do not hire or place anyone in a leadership role without first knowing them well, as that would be laying hands on someone suddenly.
- “[The Spirit of Esav] only responds with nasty, rude emails/messages and has not made any attempt to respond to what parts of NI doctrine he sees as Scripturally incorrect.
[Spirit of Esav] does not address the Scriptures or any doctrinal differences, in any attempt to unite on the single true doctrine. Instead, he continues to send NI rude, nasty emails and to behave in ways that prove to be outside of Yeshua’s Spirit. Which re-enforces our reasons for not joining with ministries which have different doctrines and different spirits that are not of Elohim.
Vayiqra (Leviticus) 10:1-2
1 Then Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aharon, each took his censer and put fire in it, put incense on it, and offered profane fire before Yahweh, which He had not commanded them.
2 So fire went out from Yahweh and devoured them, and they died before Yahweh.Yehudah (Jude) 1:3
3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.
In the first century, there were different sects of Notzirm (or those who believed upon Yeshua HaMashiach). In Jude 1:3 we are told to contend earnestly the one and only faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. (No mixing, no adulterating, no compromising, no inclusiveness, to ‘agree to disagree’ concept. But to steadfastly seek the straight and narrow path.)
[Spirit of Esav] sends a new spam, at which point NI responded with the request to please remove NI from his mailing list.

See important attachment!
And [Spirit of Esav] continues to harass Nazarene Israel:
“You are not going to be successful on a large scale until you realize that yourministry is not the end all be all of Yah’s work in the world. You need to get off your high-horse there partner, and lose the pride! I am uniting many elders of Israel of differentpersuasions and different backgrounds and different walks of life, but I am doing so in humility. Your ‘my-way-or-the-highway-attitude isn’t going to work.”
Spirit of Esav does not submit to Biblical standards, and chooses to behave outside of Yeshua’s Spirit when he does not get ‘his way’.
“[The Spirit of Esav] thinks he’s going to build Yeshua’s kingdom without behavinglike Yeshua, or doing what Yeshua said.”
[Comment from Norman’s assistant, Rivkah]
Please pray for this brother. NI has responded to his correspondence many times, and NI must now block his correspondence. Please pray for the house of Ephraim to understand the need to do things according to Yahweh’s way, and to forsake the on-going rebellion to do things his way, working Esavite and Mystery Babylonian doctrines. And to realize that it is not any man’s way, but it is literally “Yahweh’s way or the highway”, just as Scripture says, and just as Yeshua HaMashiach says.
Mattityahu (Matthew) 6:33
33 “But seek first the kingdom of Elohim and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”Mattityahu (Matthew) 7:13-27
13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.
14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?
17 “Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
18 “A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.
19 “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
20 “Therefore by their fruits you will know them.”
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Adon! Adon!’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.”
22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Adon, Adon, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
23 “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice torahlessness!’”
24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
25 “and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: |
27 “and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”
For those viewing, please beware of wolves that come in, teaching perverse things, and drawing away many after themselves (and after their own personal agendas that are not of Elohim). Please pray for them, that they will submit to Yahweh’s Spirit, so that the real stick of Ephraim (and not some false, leavened version) can come together.
Ma’asei (Acts) 20:29-30
29 “For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.
30 “Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.
Please pray for Ephraim to submit to the Scriptural foundation of the kingdom, founded upon the fivefold ministry.
Ephesim (Ephesians) 4:11-14
11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Mashiach,
13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of Elohim, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Messiah;
14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with
every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,
NI has responded to this brother many times, and to these problems in the house of Ephraim. Pleaes continue to pray for him and for the house of Ephraim.
Titus 3:10-11
10 Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition,
11 knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned.
Torah Portion
United nation doing as Yahweh commmanded
In the Torah portion, we see the need to be a corporate body with order, standards, and procedures for the nation. Elohim has a very precise way, and an exact protocol. We do not get to make up our own religions, and our own protocols, and our own invented instructions. We have to follow His protocol.
Bemidbar (Numbers) 8:5-9
5 Then Yahweh spoke to Moshe, saying:
6 “Take the Levites from among the children of Israel and cleanse them ceremonially.
7 “Thus you shall do to them to cleanse them: Sprinkle water of purification on them, and let them shave all their body, and let them wash their
clothes, and so make themselves clean.”
8 “Then let them take a young bull with its grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil, and you shall take another young bull as a sin offering.
9 “And you shall bring the Levites before the tabernacle of meeting, and you shall gather together the whole congregation of the children of
Israel.
The Levites were to be ‘Elohim’s’. They were willing to be Elohim’s servants, and to do things His way. They did not seek the opinions of people, they were willing to do as Yahweh commanded. (Levi has forgotten this responsibility today, but originally, they were willing to stand up and to do as Yahweh commanded, even to the point of killing his brothers.)
Bemidbar (Numbers) 8:13-18
13 “And you shall stand the Levites before Aharon and his sons, and then offer them like a wave offering to Yahweh.
14 “Thus you shall separate the Levites from among the children of Israel, and the Levites shall be Mine.
15 “After that the Levites shall go in to service the tabernacle of meeting. So you shall cleanse them and offer them like a wave offering.”
16 “For they are wholly given to Me from among the children of Israel; I have taken them for Myself instead of all who open the womb, the
firstborn of all the children of Israel.”
17 “For all the firstborn among the children of Israel are Mine, both man and beast; on the day that I struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I set them apart to Myself.
18 “I have taken the Levites instead of all the firstborn of the children of Israel.”
Second Pesach
We explain the need to keep the Pesacah as a united nation, at the time appointed by Yahweh Elohim. And that the second Pesach only exists for those who unexpectantly become unclean at the time of the first Pesach. We do not get to just pick and choose to skip the first Pesach and to celebrate the seond Pesach out of convenience for our own lives. For example, we should not schedule vacations when we know that the first Pesach is approaching, and then skip the first Pesach. If we are placing anything before Elohim, that thing becomes an idol.
Bemidbar (Numbers) 9:1-3
1 Now Yahweh spoke to Moshe in the Wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying:
2 “Let the children of Israel keep the Passover at its appointed time.
3 “On the fourteenth day of this month, at twilight, you shall keep it at its appointed time. According to all its rites and ceremonies you shall keep it.”Bemidbar (Numbers) 9:6-7
6 Now there were certain men who were defiled by a human corpse, so that they could not keep the Pesach on that day; and they came before Moshe and Aharon that day.
7 And those men said to him, “We became defiled by a human corpse. Why are we kept from presenting the offering of Yahweh at its appointed time among the children of Israel?”Bemidbar (Numbers) 9:10-11
10 “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘If anyone of you or your posterity is unclean because of a corpse, or is far away on a journey, he may still keep Yahweh’s Passover.
11 “On the fourteenth day of the second month, at twilight, they may keep it. They shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.”
Yahweh is very clear about what happens to the one who deliberately chooses to not keep His first Pesach. Also, we see that Yahweh says we shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger and the native born of Israel. Talmud Sanhedrin59a is in violation of Bemidbar (Numbers) 9:14.
Bemidbar (Numbers) 9:13-14
13 “But the man who is clean and is not on a journey, and ceases to keep the Passover, that same person shall be cut off from among his people, because he did not bring the offering of Yahweh at its appointed time; that man shall bear his sin.”
14 “‘And if a stranger dwells among you, and would keep Yahweh’s Pesach, he must do so according to the rite of the Pesach and according to its ceremony; you shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger and the native of the land.’ “
Talmud: Sanhedrin 59a, Sefaria
And Rabbi Yoḥanan says: A gentile who engages in Torah study is liable to receive the death penalty; as it is stated: “Moshe commanded us a torah, an inheritance of the congregation of Jacob” (Deuteronomy 33:4), indicating that it is an inheritance for us, and not for them.
Complaining at Taberah
Next, we read about the complaining that happened at Taberah, and how Yahweh’s anger burned among the people beause of their murmuring. The people complained that Yahweh had taken them from their Egyptian captivity, and desired to return to their captivity, rather than trusting in Yahweh and giving thanks to His name.
Bemidbar (Numbers) 11:1-6
1 Now when the people complained, it displeased Yahweh; for Yahweh heard it, and His anger was aroused. So the fire of Yahweh burned among them, and consumed some in the outskirts of the camp.
2 Then the people cried out to Moshe, and when Moshe prayed to Yahweh, the fire was quenched.
3 So he called the name of the place Taberah, because the fire of Yahweh had burned among them.
4 Now the mixed multitude who were among them yielded to intense craving; so the children of Israel also wept again and said: “Who will give us meat to eat?
5 “We remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic;
6 “but now our whole being is dried up; there is nothing at all except this manna before our eyes!”
The burden was so much for Moshe to bear on his own, (we in NI can relate to this). And Yahweh instructed Moshe to gather seventy men of the elders of Israel.
Bemidbar (Numbers) 11:10-18
10 Then Moshe heard the people weeping throughout their families, everyone at the door of his tent; and the anger of Yahweh was greatly aroused; Moshe also was displeased.
11 So Moshe said to Yahweh, “Why have You afflicted Your servant? And why have I not found favor in Your sight, that You have laid the burden of all these people on me?”
12 “Did I conceive all these people? Did I beget them, that You should say to me, ‘Carry them in your bosom, as a guardian carries a nursing child,’ to the land which You swore to their fathers?
13 “Where am I to get meat to give to all these people? For they weep all over me, saying, ‘Give us meat, that we may eat.’
14 “I am not able to bear all these people alone, because the burden is too heavy for me.
15 “If You treat me like this, please kill me here and now—if I have found favor in Your sight—and do not let me see my wretchedness!”
16 So Yahweh said to Moshe: “Gather to Me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and officers over them; bring them to the tabernacle of meeting, that they may stand there with you.”
17 “Then I will come down and talk with you there. I will take of the Spirit that is upon you and will put the same upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you may not bear it yourself alone.”
18 “Then you shall say to the people, ‘Set yourselves apart for tomorrow, and you shall eat meat; for you have wept in the hearing of Yahweh, saying, “Who will give us meat to eat? For it was well with us in Egypt.” Therefore Yahweh will give you meat, and you shall eat.”
Elohim counted the people’s murmuring the same as the people despising Him, because they caared more about their own lives, comfort, and the desires of their flesh, then they did about becoming Elohim’s living army and building His kingdom.
Bemidbar (Numbers) 11:19-20
19 “You shall eat, not one day, nor two days, nor five days, nor ten days, nor twenty days,
20 “but for a whole month, until it comes out of your nostrils and becomes loathsome to you, because you have despised Yahweh who is among you, and have wept before Him, saying, “Why did we ever come up out of Egypt?” ‘ “
Yahweh took some of the humble, non-complaining, submissive Spirit from Moshe and placed it upon the 70 elders. The pattern is here is that for those in spiritual leadership, we must first be able to hear and prophecy in Yahweh’s Spirit at least once. Moshe did not desire a monopoly on Yahweh’s Spirit, but he wanted everyone to hear and speak according to the Spirit. We see this same foundation in Qorintim Aleph (1 Corinthians) 14:1, that spiritual leadership must hear and speak accoriding to the Spirit.
Bemidbar (Numbers) 11:24
24 So Moshe went out and told the people the words of Yahweh, and he gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people and placed them around the tabernacle.
25 Then Yahweh came down in the cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was upon him, and placed the same upon the
seventy elders; and it happened, when the Spirit rested upon them, that they prophesied, although they never did so again.
26 But two men had remained in the camp: the name of one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad. And the Spirit rested upon them. Now they were among those listed, but who had not gone out to the tabernacle; yet they prophesied in the camp.
27 And a young man ran and told Moshe, and said, “Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp!”
28 So Yehoshua the son of Nun, Moshe’s assistant, one of his choice men, answered and said, “Adoni Moshe, forbid them!”
29 Then Moshe said to him, “Are you zealous for my sake? Oh, that all Yahweh’s people were prophets and that Yahweh would put His Spirit upon them!”Qorintim Aleph (1 Cor) 14:1
1 Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.
Now, Miriam and Aharon noticed that Moshe had the Spirit, and became envious. And they attack Moshe, and exalt themselves. Miriam and Aharon basically think highly of themselves because they have heard Yahweh’s voice ‘sometimes’. Yahweh puts Miriam and Aharon in their place. Because not only did Yahweh speak with Moshe ‘sometimes’, but He spoke to Moshe at all times. The lesson here is to not puff ourselves up, but to sumbit to Yeshua’s program.
Bemidbar (Numbers) 12:1-4
1 Then Miriam and Aharon spoke against Moshe because of the Kushite woman whom he had married; for he had married an Kushite woman.
2 So they said, “Has Yahweh indeed spoken only through Moshe? Has He not spoken through us also?” And Yahweh heard it.
3 (Now the man Moshe was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.)
4 Suddenly Yahweh said to Moshe, Aharon, and Miriam, “Come out, you three, to the tabernacle of meeting!” So the three came out.
Many in the house of Ephraim think that they have Yahweh’s Spirit, but they do not submit to His leadership or submit to doing as He commands.
Bemidbar (Numbers) 12:6-7
6 Then He said, “Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, Yahweh, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream.
7 “Not so with My servant Moshe; He is faithful in all My house. 8 I speak with him face to face, Even plainly, and not in dark sayings; And he sees
the form of Yahweh. Why then were you not afraid To speak against My servant Moshe?”
Haftarah protion
Zecharyah (Zechariah) 4:6 states the continued lesson that Yahweh’s temple and Yahweh’s kingdom are not built by man’s might or power (our by any other spirit or agenda), but that it is only built by His Spirit. We cannot build a kingdom of ourselves, or bring Mashiach our way, or create our own Esavite or Talmudic replacement kingdoms. Only by submitting to Yahweh’s Spirit, and by abandoning Esavite-Babylonian agendas. The first and foremost thing is to come to Him, give Him our lives as a sacrificial offering, and to submit to Him.
Zecharyah (Zechariah) 4:6
6 So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of Yahweh to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says Yahweh of hosts.
Brit Chadasha portion
In the Brit Chadasha portion, we read the same message about the need to submit to Yeshua’s Spirit. As long as we are alive, we have an evil inclination (a flesh-based agenda). Yeshua talks about humbling ourselves as a little child, listening and trusting their Father. A child does not have their own selfish agenda.
Mattityahu (Matthew) 18:1-6
1 At that time the disciples came to Yeshua, saying, “Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
2 Then Yeshua called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them,
3 and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.
4 “Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5 “Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.
6 “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.”
We have talked about complaining. What is the solution? We need to talk about the Matthew 18 Process, where we confront our brethren when they have wronged against us. Ephraim needs to learn this. Yeshua instructs us to speak to our brother first, in loving rebuke. And then, if he does not listen, we take one or two more witnesses with you. And if he still does not hear you, then you tell it to the assembly. And if he still does not hear you, let him be as a heathen, outside the camp.
There is a genuine need for a corporate body, and for following Elohim’s system. This is another places where the Messianic movement does not want to submit to Elohim’s program. Leaders will commit adultery or another sin, and the community will rebuke them for a set amount of time, and then they will welcome the sinner back without any repentance. We cannot build Yeshua’s kingdom on a different program from Yeshua’s program.
Mattityahu (Matthew) 18:15-17
15 “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.
16 “But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘BY THE MOUTH OF TWO OR THREE WITNESSES EVERY WORD MAY BE ESTABLISHED.’
17 “And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the assembly. But if he refuses even to hear the assembly, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.”

In Yochanan (John) 6, we see another attempt to forcefully build the kingdom according to the way that the zealots of the first century wanted to build it. They did not want to enter into Yeshua’s program, they wanted to forcefully make Him king over their own program. Yeshua did not want anything to do with it, because it was not Elohim’ program. (Just like with the spirit of Esav does.)
Yochanan (John) 6:1-2
1 After these things Yeshua went over the Sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberias.
2 Then a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His signs which He performed on those who were diseased.Yochanan (John) 6:10-11
10 Then Yeshua said, “Make the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
11 And Yeshua took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted.Yochanan (John) 6:14-15
14 Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Yeshua did, said, “This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”
15 Therefore when Yeshua perceived that they were about to come and take Him by force to make Him king, He departed again to the mountain by Himself alone.
We can talk about similar examples today, where the spirit of Esav wants to set up kings and political answers which are not of Yahweh’s program, such as the Democratic campaigns and Trump movements, etc. And how Yeshua warned of the leaven of Herod in Mark 8:15. And how so many people claim to Biblical faith, but they would rather support leaven of Herod movements, and take vacations, and spend their money all anything other than building Yeshua’s kingdom according to Elohim’s program.
Marqaus (Mark) 8:14-15
14 Now the disciples had forgotten to take bread, and they did not have more than one loaf with them in the boat.
15 Then He charged them, saying, “Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.”Yochanan (John) 6:22
22 On the following day, when the people who were standing on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, except that one which His disciples had entered, and that Yeshua had not entered the boat with His disciples, but His disciples had gone away alone—
Yeshua rebukes the people for wanting to do things according to their own power and strength, and with the agenda to fill their own bellies, instead of focusing on Elohim’s kingdom and on His program. The people do not understand, and Yeshua explains the need to ‘believe’ upon the Mashiach. Meaning, to believe on Him so much that we become like Him and do as He says.
Yochanan (John) 6:24-29
24 when the people therefore saw that Yeshua was not there, nor His disciples, they also got into boats and came to Kephar Nahum, seeking Yeshua.
25 And when they found Him on the other side of the sea, they said to Him, “Rabbi, when did You come here?”
26 Yeshua answered them and said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled.
27 “Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because Elohim the Father has set His seal on Him.”
28 Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of Elohim?”
29 Yeshua answered and said to them, “This is the work of Elohim, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
Scripture speaks of double-mindedness in many places. David says that he hates the double-minded, but loves Yahweh’s Torah. Why? Because double-mindedness is saying one thing and doing another. It is not genuine, it is fake, meaningless, and accomplishes nothing. We are not commanded to ‘think’ upon or to ‘adore’ Mashiach, but to ‘believe’ upon Him and to emulate Him.
Tehillim (Psalms) 119:113
113 I hate the double-minded, But I love Your Torah.Yochanan (John) 6:28-52
28 Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of Elohim?”
29 Yeshua answered and said to them, “This is the work of Elohim, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
30 Therefore they said to Him, “What sign will You perform then, that we may see it and believe You? What work will You do?
31 Our fathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written, ‘HE GAVE THEM BREAD FROM HEAVEN TO EAT.'”
32 Then Yeshua said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moshe did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven.
33 For the bread of Elohim is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
34 Then they said to Him, “Adon, give us this bread always.”
35 And Yeshua said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.
36 “But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe.”
37 “All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.
38 “For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
39 “This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.”
40 “And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
41 The Jews then complained about Him, because He said, “I am the bread which came down from heaven.”
42 And they said, “Is not this Yeshua, the son of Yosef, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that He says, ‘I have come down from heaven‘?”
43 Yeshua therefore answered and said to them, “Do not murmur among yourselves.
44 “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
45 “It is written in the prophets, ‘AND THEY SHALL ALL BE TAUGHT BY ELOHIM.’ Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.
46 “Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from Elohim; He has seen the Father.
47 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life.
48 “I am the bread of life.
49 “Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
50 “This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die.”
51 “I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh,
which I shall give for the life of the world.”
52 The Jews therefore quarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this Man give us
His flesh to eat?”
Hoshea 8:8 speaks about the house of Ephraim, and how we were swallowed up in the Diaspora. We vanished. What is the parallel with Yochanan (John) 6? The point is that we become like Yeshua. Ephraim was lost, and swallowed up. Yeshua came for the lost tribes, to bring us back to life and to purify us. For the Kabblists listening, Yeshua is not talking about eating His flesh in a physical way. He is speaking of a spiritual renourshing, and about restoring the lost sparks of Ephraim. Life is in the blood, and Yeshua is talking about bringing Ephraim back to life.
Hoshea (Hosea) 8:8
8 “Israel is swallowed up; Now they are among the Gentiles like a vessel in which is no pleasure.”Yochanan (John) 6:53-55
53 Then Yeshua said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.
54 “Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 “For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed.”
56 “He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.
57 “As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me.”
We are talking about being restored in Elohim’s likeness again. Yeshua is talking about partaking of Him, spiritually. Connecting with Yeshua in the vine, remaining connected with Him at all times. There needs to be a genuine commitment.
B’reisheet (Genesis) 1:26
26 Then Elohim said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”Strong’s Concordance H1823

אָדַם
‘âdam aw-dam’
To show blood (in the face), that is, flush or turn rosy: – be (dyed, made) red (ruddy).Yochanan (John) 6:58
58 “This is the bread which came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”
Yeshua knew that even some of His disciples with Him were complaining, and that some did not believe. Whether we are talking about Judah or Joseph (Ephraim), we need to submit to Yeshua’s Spirit. Not looking for political solutions, or trying to establish Esavite kingdoms, but to submit to Elohim’s program.
Yochanan (John) 6:61-63
61 When Yeshua knew in Himself that His disciples complained about this, He said to them, “Does this offend you?
62 What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before?
63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.”
64 But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Yeshua knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him.
We are talking about submision to Elohim’s Spirit, and enrolling ourselves into His program, rather than our own programs. This has been the problem ever since the Garden. We know what He says to do, but we do not want to submit. To form the stick of Ephraim, we must feed on Yeshua spiritually. He must be the source of our life to where we emulate Him and do as He says.
Divrei HaYamim Bet (2 Chronicles) 7:14
14 “…If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
May Yahweh want it, in Yeshuas’s name.
