Happy to be here and give my introduction. My name is Jake Harmina and I live in Oakville, just west of Toronto in Canada. I’m 53 and married to Suzanne (for 28 years) and have two adult children Jasmine (25) and Ryan (22). I work as a Director of Health Information and Privacy at Humber River Hospital in Toronto. Spiritually speaking, I was raised Catholic and received my calling at 20, where I switched to the WWCG after watching Herbert’s TV shows. I then drifted trough various splinter groups (CGI, Church of God 7th Day, Christian Churches of God-CCG) until I found the Hebrew Roots groups. For me, I think this walk boils down to 1. Put Yahweh first, 2. Put everyone else second, 3. Do what the Word tells us to do i.e. do good works and produce fruit. I’m currently supporting several groups with edify me spiritually (this one, CCG, Don Esposito’s group, Tim McHyde, Sighted Moon, etc.) I love a good scriptural challenge and happy to lend my input to help sharpen our steel and prepare us for what is to come. We are all Watchmen and need to be alert and connected to each other. We can all plainly see what is happening in the world, the time is up to be a sleepy armchair quarterback believer!
Blessings to you all.
Shalom, Jake! Welcome, brother. We are redoing the forum again, to bring it in line with the ministry goals. Hopefully it will get more traffic in coming weeks. I agree the time of the sleepy believers is over! It is clearly the end times.
